We received…read morequotes from two different companies, and when this company came out, the representative explained that they have been serving Port St. Lucie for a long time and that the business is still independently owned rather than being sold to a larger corporation. That's something I really appreciate because it's becoming harder and harder to find locally owned companies these days. The only frustrating part of the process was getting an updated quote. We had waited too long, and the original estimate had expired. My husband called the office several times, and each time they had to take down all of his information again because it apparently had never been entered into the system. That seemed a bit unusual, as I would expect everyone to have access to the same customer information. After discussing our options with the salesman, we decided to move forward. The installation was scheduled just a few days later. We had both the inside and outside units replaced. The crew arrived around 9:00 a.m. and finished shortly after 2:00 p.m. One of the heater components that was delivered was incorrect, but we were informed that the technician would return with the correct part. The installers were friendly, professional, and seemed very knowledgeable. I chatted with them a few times throughout the day, and they worked efficiently to get everything completed. The installation also included a new thermostat, with the cost. Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that our electric bill will drop significantly. Our old system seemed to run nonstop, and I'm hoping this new, more efficient unit will make a noticeable difference. With the energy savings, I'm optimistic that the investment will pay for itself within a few years.

All of them determined there is a huge leak in my evap coil, and I would need to get an entire new system for thousands of dollars. A/C Doctors was the only one to realise there was something else amiss, and to take the time and properly diagnose the issue. Turns out it was a plugged up valve. They fixed the valve for a fraction of the price of the other companies, and now my A/C is running ice cold. If you need help with your A/C but don't know who to call, this is it, this is the company you are looking for. Knowledgeable, communicative, no nonsense service. 4 other companies got it wrong. A/C Doctors got it right.

My place just had hurricane impact windows installed by MCI in Delray who did a horrific job! My…read morebrand new AC unit was ruined. The ducts were filled with dust and who knows what else! I spent a fortune having my place totally cleaned! Rugs, curtains, everything!!! After spending all that time and money getting my place somewhat clean we hired FL AC to come clean my ducts. That were filled with dust, mold, asbestos and possible lead? Year built 1974!!! This FL AC co came in knowing this and they knew my dusts had dust and unknown chemicals in it. Their job was to close off the other side of the ac duct so it doesn't blow these chemicals into the unit. The other side of my ducts went right into my bedroom too. Since I have developed breathing probs due to all this dust from MCI windows in Delray I had to leave the condo until they completed the job. When I came back into my place my throat totally closed up. I couldn't breathe. This co was supposed to cover and close up that vent and only allow the dirt and debris from my ducts to go back into their cleaning machine they used. Not have it blown out the other side of my vent where all this debris ended up! It's airborne and after spending a fortune on cleaning my place my bedroom was totally filled with dust and all these chemicals. Nothing was covered either! Everything in my bedroom was FILLED WITH DUST. My Rugs that I just had steam cleaned. MY bedroom smelled horrid and after spending all this time and money n cleaning my rugs and curtains it was back to the way MCI left it!!!. My bed blankets and sheets filled with dust!. My electronics were also filled with this dust. Chemicals we have NO idea that was inside those ducts! All my clothes ruined! They had to come in with a HEPA BIG MACHINE that had to run for three to four days! And I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE ELECTRIC FOR THIS??? Do not use this company Do not use MCI EITHER.

Evidently they told us the Bosch À/C ran on a new system and NEVER worked correctly. We have made several calls to DS and many service men have been here but no one can figure out the annoying humming noise created by the À/c. Today ANOTHER service man came and said the conditioner needed a new part costing $150.! However, yesterday's service man said there would be NO CHARGE because he couldn't find or fix the problem. Different story today and a/c still humming. If you have a problem with your À/C.....save your money and Don't call DS AIR CONDITIONING. Customer Service is a zero.

They came out last month and serviced the unit and said it might need to get the coils cleaned. Well, the same thing happened again. Came out same issue. Coils needed to be cleaned but I decided to get a new AC unit. Thank God. The unit was old, rusted out coils and no guarantees it won't leak . However, the new AC is in, it is so quiet you can't hear it, and the Ecobee Thermostat is unbearable. Thank you so much. From the office staff to the service people you are all fantastic.

A few weeks after every service visit, something breaks. Every time. It's thousands and thousands of dollars to get it fixed. I mentioned this to them and they became aggressively defensive. They're quick to answer, quick to charge my credit card but very slow to repair. I should have been checking their reviews. It sounds like this isn't uncommon. I'm on day 4 of no AC waiting for a $1500 compressor that's under warrantee. I'll be finding a different company now.
