I selected the option to be contacted before any work was performed, which they did. Hal, Howard, and Phil were very professional and communicated clearly. My tires were recently replaced at Jensen Tire, and within 6 months I had a slow leak from a nail puncture. I dilly dallied on getting it fixed and it started to get REALLY low, and I am not super versed in how to fill or replace tires, so I brought in my car without an appointment to see what I needed to do. The service techs were super friendly and helpful. They weren't able to fit me in right then, but they did fill my tire completely, and I came back later that evening and they patched it for free! Now I feel safer on the road and know if something comes up again, I can go there. read more

We brought our car in for an alignment after fixing a few parts in the suspension. They pick that everything on a car that has 200,000 miles on it given us a $5000 bill doing things without permission. Some of these prices are ridiculous right inner Tyron $325 Cost $52 it takes no less no more than 45 minutes to get it installed. This place is a joke. All these places are careful when you bring your car be very specific on what you want. Because they will find anything they can add more to your bill Fortunate enough, I can do the work myself. Horrible customer service. Won't ever use them again. Missing one lug nut from each passenger side tire. They claim they double check or put in notes that they are missing. And wouldn't let a vehicle go with one missing. Yet had no explanation and told me to go to an auto parts store. read more

I've been there a couple times now and everyone is always friendly and helpful. The first time I had a squeak when going over speed bumps, and they found I had a ball joint that needed replaced. I cost was what I expected it to be, so I let them do the work, and was satisfied with the results. The second time I heard some weird noise coming from the radiator fan area. They took a look at it and saw the shroud was rubbing somehow and fixed it in seconds and didn't charge me a dime. I think I found my new place for repairs after moving here from Colorado recently. read more

I brought my car here because my front tire kept losing air. At first they patched it and said it was fine. A few months later I brought it back for the same issue and they told me I needed 4 new tires. The tires are a few years old so I replaced them all. My tires were still losing air so I brought it to another mechanic who checked them out and stated the beads were not cleaned and that's why the tires are still losing air. Jensen tire did a sloppy job and should have done this when the tires were replaced. For my inconvenience the manager offered me a free oil change, I had my oil changed already when I replaced the tires. Very poor customer service and the mechanics either don't know what they're doing or don't care (probably both). read more

Took my truck in for new tires. James called, said alignment was out on the front passenger toe by .8. I called back, James said it was the front driver. Asked him to verify, he confirmed it was front driver. Agreed to pay for alignment, then came to pick it up. Their chart they created showed passenger tire had been out, and nothing was off by more than .13. Pretty hard to trust when their story changes constantly and the numbers don't add up. Passing through Omaha, we had a nail in a tire and needed a repair. We were quoted $24 on the phone, decided it needed to be done. Gentleman said they'd accommodate us when they had an open bay. Drove in and they said around 30 minutes. It may have been that long but off it went. We were in and out the door in 45 minutes and very well taken care of. These guys are either liars, swindlers, or incompetent. I brought my vehicle in with a self diagnosed bad wheel bearing. Quoted $370. Left it with them for testing. Called me back with "official" diagnosis: "bearings are good, but you need to replace shocks, struts, tires, brakes, and rotors." New quote, $1600-$2,000. Didn't seem right so took the vehicle elsewhere for a second opinion. This time, I was allowed to stay and watch the tests. Unsurprisingly, the suspected wheel bearing issue was confirmed and the other stuff was disproved. You guys give mechanics and your company a bad name. Shame on you. read more

This place is a joke!!!!! Spaulding Avenue location in Omaha. Step Daughter had a car towed there. They claimed harmonic balancer and crankshaft sensor were bad. Quoted $600 to fix it. Called my local mechanic and he said that's over twice what it should be. Told them to push it outside and i would drive the 2.5 hours to get it and take to my guy. My mechanic called shortly after looking at the car and told me only thing wrong with it was that it was out of gas. NO WAY did they even put the car on a hoist!!!!! Wouldn't recommend that place to my worst enemy. read more

Took my vehicle in to Jensen for an evaluation...check engine light was on...gave me an a quote of $635.00 which included the part that had to be ordered. Part came in and I dropped the vehicle off...On my way home I received a call from Jensen stating they would not honor their quote and needed another $350.00 to do the job. How unethical!!! I took my 2015 jeep to Jensen tire after discovering a dead battery. It has 35000. miles on it and it was the original battery.The battery is located under the floor below the passenger seat. A week later, and still having issues with my jeep, and I take it to a different mechanic. This is the text I get from him. - who ever installed your new battery last week did a really crappy job. The battery bolt and hold down box is missing, it is not held in place or secure. The clamps were way overtightened, and the cables were jammed on top. The cover wasn't put back in place right, the plastic insert covers for the seat bolts were left off. The carpet was jammed on top of it hiding the sloppiness. The battery that was installed - Mechanics can purchase for $160-$190. the retail price is listed at $225.-$295. I was charged $435. for just the battery. The time to remove and replace the battery is .6 I was charge $150. labor ( that would make it about $300. an hour labor charge) $585. to get a crappy install, also I was told by Jensen Tire, that the battery cannot be "jumped with jumper cables, it must be put on a deep cycle battery charger for 24 hours. - the battery was completely dead when I had my vehicle towed to them, I had my vehicle back in a matter of hours, how could they determine if it was bad or weak if they didn't charge it for 24 hours first? They told me it was tested and it tested bad. I was overcharge about $250. and got crappy service. read more

I wondered why this location never seems busy. It's probably because they rip their customer's off. Marked up parts on my vehicle by 95% and charged an hour labor for a job that took 15 minutes max. Wouldn't tell me how much they markup their parts and wouldn't work with me on a more reasonable markup. There is a reason Jensen has horrible ratings. read more

Very disappointing and frustrating experience. Since I purchased tires here my free service of rotation was a horrible experience. Of course they found an additional costly item that needed fixed. But when they rotated the tires they did not balance them causing a violent shake in the car above speeds of 50mph. But when confronted on the issue they claimed they do not have the tools to balance tires. What kind of a tire place is incapable of balancing tires? read more

So I came in to have my car looked at for some engine problems I have been having. I decided Jensen because I have always had wonderful service from the location on Fort Street, well that is certainly not the case for this location off of maple. I called and set up the appointment and asked the person on the phone how much a diagnostic would be. He said well it is about $105.00 but if we just have to look at plugs we don't charge for that. I told him the plugs were already replaced and so was one coil so those shouldn't be the issue. So from this point I already know I am paying the $105 for the diagnostic, whatever no big deal. After they pull my car back, another mechanic then comes back out to reiterate the price of a diagnostic test (which I already knew from when I called and set up the appointment) He then asks what I want him to do with the car, just get a diagnostic or have it fixed. I told him just a diagnostic for right now. The way he makes it sound to me is that the $105 only gets me 1 hour of diagnostic testing after that "we will see". So I question him about what all is done on a diagnostic just because I have already had work done to the car this week and have information on what parts were replaced and what was already done. I did voice that I am not too sure about paying $105/hr. just to figure out what is wrong and then doubling down and paying for the repair, if it had just been 1 diagnostic fee and then the repair wouldn't be so bad. At this point he then becomes rude and makes the comment that he doesn't plan on working on my car for free -_- Mind you I set up the appointment and came in with money ready for this to get done. I am not hoping for some free miracle fix, I just want to know why my car is having issues. I understand that the diagnostic fee is a specific amount, I did not know I would have to pay by the hour until they figured out the issue. I figured the $105 would cover the normal testing and then we would fix the problem once the issue was identified. Seriously, please remember to not be a jerk to people who are legitimately coming in to get some information on what the problem could be especially if you are just going to make wild assumptions that they are looking for a free hand out. Granted I will give him the fact that I am wearing sweat pants and being comfy today. Doesn't mean you can treat people like crap just because you assume we don't have the money to pay for stuff. I think I will just stay with the Fort location to avoid any more interesting interactions. And please people make sure you dress nicely so they don't assume you want a hand out too. read more

Do not take your vehicle to Jensen Tires on Galvin and any other one, if they are like the mechanics on Galvin, they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about, sold me a starter for my vehicle, and its not the starter, then told me probably the alternator, oh I am sure, so you can make more money off me! There is blue stuff around my battery, this will cause your battery not to start. Funny how shops can charge battery test, but cant see the blue acid shit around your battery, and its just amazes me when I called Mike from corporate, he told me he wanted to speak to the mechanic that was working on my van, because I said you sold me a new starter, and they wasn't anything wrong with the old one, because my van still doesn't want to start up all the time. Found the blue shit around my battery, going to clean the cables and connectors tomorrow. Needless to say, was stuck in the cold two hours waiting on rode side assistance to jump my van... Funny how it jumps on the first start Also, Jensen tires sold me 900 dollar muffler system and that is without the catalytic convertor, so tell me how honest they are, that is totally over priced! read more
