I got into my first ever car accident last Friday and it was the kind of scary that will effect me for the rest of my life. I didn't catch the name of the man who towed my car for me (he had short hair and a beard) but I wanted to give him a genuine thank you. I was physically shaking from shock and fear and he really helped ground me by explaining my towing options and was even kind enough to drop me off at gas station to wait for my boyfriend to come pick me up and lower the tow bed so I could get some things out of my car. He was one of the only people to treat me like a human during the entire post-crash process. When I went to inspect my car later on at their lot they were once again nice enough to let me get a few more things out of my car. I am absolutely heartbroken to have had to part ways with my Scion tC but I can't thank Jensen enough for helping me out in my time of need and offering me a good scrapping deal. Absolutely do not recommend where very rude over the phone then when I went to pick up my vehicle the driver who towed it the night previous seen me inspecting the vehicle and from a distance called it a piece of crap and when he was confronted he became hostile and threatened to keep my vehicle after I already payed $142 read more

The tire to my travel trailer blew out on the interstate. When I called to have it repaired, they had someone there in half the time that was quoted. The driver instructed me where to go for safety purposes, changed out my tire and even followed me to the nearest gas station to show me how to put air in my tires! We were in town and pulled in to our hotels unsalted, slanted parking lot which borders Lake Michigan. We were unable to turn and got stranded at the bottom of the lot in a very dangerous location. Mike Jensen was amazing! He was calm and reassured me they would get it taken care of. He even went in to talk with hotel staff to share how dangerous the situation is on their property. I had an absolute horrible experience with this place. The drivers were very nice, one even told me that the way I was being treated was wrong. The clerk lady did not turn her back to speak to me the entire time I was there, so I had a conversation with her back, which was nice, she didnt even ask my name until after 4 hours I was actually able to obtain my vehicle that was impounded for 7 hours, totalling 263.00. There were charges on the bill tht the lady (who wouldn't turn her back) could not explain. I payed the 263.00 gladly to get my BMW back and they still would not release my vehicle till 4 hours later, because she said she needed a title (because everyone wants to pay a tow bill on a car that isnt theirs) My vehicle is financed, and anyone who finances a vehicle, knows u dont get a title until the vehicle is payed off. So I had to call the dealership in illinois where I bought my car to get a copy of the title, so I drove an hour to obtain it, came back and finally the lady asked my name. And made a copy and instructed someone to take me to get my vehicle. One of the charges on the bill which I will post, states I was charged for snow removal, however my car was full of snow. The owner (another woman) was extremely rude when I asked for an explanation and even stormed out the door on me. I work in customer service and the FIRST thing I do is introduce myself and ask how I can help. The place is filthy and so are the employees and owners attitudes. I'd like to thank the tow truck drivers who helped me, they were nice guys and I even had one who worked there tell me tht the way I was being treated was wrong. This place blew my mind, and never in my life will I call them if I need help. I'd rather walk 7 miles in the snow than make that call. No wonder the business is failing. Garbage, garbage, garbage. I can not be more grateful for the folks at Jensen Towing. My daughter's car broke down in northern Wisconsin on her way back home to Chicago. We were reluctant to contact a company that we had not properly vetted, however when you are broken down, options can be limited. Jensen towed her car back to their shop, and drove my daughter to a nearby hotel. Knowing she had no transportation, they contacted her and asked if she needed a ride to Walmart or the grocery store so that she could purchase necessities. That would never happen in Chicago! Once the car was diagnosed, instead of trying to capitalize on my car needing a new engine, they hooked me up with a dealership who could potentially see if I was still under warranty for my engine. They literally advocated with the manufacturer on our behalf!!! The entire experience reminded me that there are trustworthy people in this world and we are so grateful that we broke down near Jensen Towing and Repair!!! read more

We had a very disappointing experience with Jensen towing tonight. My 78 year old mother's car had one psi as she was heading home from Kenosha with a 40 minute drive down back country roads back to Illinois. She couldn't find a working air pump to refill her Tire so she called Jensen towing because she knew better than to ride on her rim. They had a driver nearby who filled her tire with air And sent her on her way. They did give her a discount since he was only a few minutes away. He never checked to see if there was a reason why her tire was that low. When she called me to say she was on her way home, I asked if he checked her tire. She said no, he only filled it. I told her to drive to the next gas station and check her tire Before continuing home. At that point she realize she had already dropped several psi in the 1 mile to the next gas station. I told her to stay put and drove out to her. It only took a few seconds to hear the air gushing out of her tire And I noticed a large piece of metal lodged in her tire. I know nothing about cars, But I had the sense to know that it shouldn't drop that much psi without there being an issue. Had I not driven 40 minutes to my mom, she would have been stranded tonight on the side of the road. They get one star for the discount. Common sense and decency to make sure an elderly lady is going to make it home safe are apparently not a priority so that's all I can do. ONE PSI!! I'm beyond disappointed. I had my car towed recently by Jensen. When they lowered the vehicle it rolled into a post. They would not cover the cost of repairs to my vehicle due to it being a shifting issue even though it was still in their possession. Do not use Jensen Towing, they do not stand behind their business or provide good customer service! read more

BEWARE. My car was totaled on the cold night of March 14, 2014 and I was hospitalized in triage at St. Catherine's Hospital Emergency Dept. with my wallet and house key still in the wreck. After being bandaged and finally released after midnight, Jensen wouldn't even give me my house key until I'd paid their full bill. I said yes, I'd pay - but they wouldn't allow me to get to the wreck for my wallet and credit card and they refused to retrieve them themselves. They even refused the Kenosha police officers who'd asked them just for my house key. Luckily a friend was able to let me stay indoors that night and drive me to a bank in the morning. I even had to ask Jensen Towing for a receipt. (A couple of notes: Jensen must have known that I'd specifically *asked* the rescue squad to book them at the wreck scene. And even so, I never even got an "I'm sorry, but .." or any inkling of empathy on their part for what they caused. To the contrary, they seemed to enjoy it.) read more

Beware!!!! Don't let them tow your car to their "yard" ....we were charged $63 for one night ( not even a full 24 hour day) of storage fee which they require be paid in CASH. For that price you would think it included hotel accommodations and a continental breakfast the next morning. Very rude front office lady tried to tell me that my AAA wouldn't cover the tow to a service place and got pretty angry when I mentioned that they said they would. Needless to say, we will be requesting in the future that they NOT be called!!! Sad really because the tow truck driver from there who took our van in after the accident was actually very nice, but I would NEVER want to have to deal with the office lady again! read more

My husband and I got my parent's car towed there involuntarily. When we went to pick it up, we were told by a very rude lady that the charges would be 153 bucks, to be paid in CASH, for a car that was left there less than a day. In addition, because we don't actually own the car, we were told we had to bring my father back to the place and he had to show them the title before they would release the car. The proof of having a key that fits the lock and ignition is not enough for them. They suck to high heaven and I hope I never have to deal with them again! if i could give them zero stars i would. my car got towed for no gas and due to loosing my job and not being able to pay them i had to sign my vehicle over to them.. for running out of gas. not only did they keep my truck, when i went to retrieve my belongings out of the truck there were things missing, there thieves and will steal from you. dont trust them with your property. read more

The worst experience I have ever had, I have been a loyal customer for years, even back when Mike was still around, I told them to tow my van to my house because I didn't want it to go to their lot, they said my wife told them to tow it to thwe lot, I said no, its my van take it to my home, they towed it to the lot anyway, the insurance company didn't pay I accrued so much storage, they kept my van, now I have nothing, they are the worst people ever, please avoid doing business with this company..evil. read more
