I have practiced yoga all over the DC area and in Miami (where I live now post-grad) and hands down In Balance is the best studio I've ever been to! The facilities are great, parking is easy, and the instructors are fabulous. The classes are extremely affordable (they offer student discounts), especially if you buy an unlimited semester pass. I've tried every class they offer and each one offers something unique to help expand your practice. I asked for more pressure three times during my 90 minute, $110 massage and it only seemed to get lighter and lighter. At the end of the massage she apologized for not being able to provide more pressure, which she could have easily done by actually standing up instead of sitting down while working on me. I couldn't believed I paid that much money to have somebody gently apply lotion for 90 minutes. Maybe she would've been good for the elderly or somebody with major sensitivity issues but I am thoroughly disappointed. A massage therapist incapable of applying pressure is like a chef incapable of taste. I received ZERO value and I will go home and use a lacrosse ball and foam roller. If you go here just specifically ask ahead of time for a properly matched therapist.

Sooooo relaxing! Then it may be appropriate for you to change to a progressive class, learn new and interesting poses to your capability. Noelle has at least 20 years experience teaching yoga.
