First of all, Owen(think that was his name) was a really nice guy, who in different circumstances would be my friend. However, I called him for 2 faulty switches in my bathroom. (I needed a new electrician because mine had moved into a different field) He launched into this glitzy marketing pitch, telling me that I had passed on to a different diagnostic level, which I believe was $479. Wanting it fixed, told him to do it. 1.5 hours later, showed me a proposal for nearly $11,000 to totally upgrade my 45yo old home. No, just no. Not gonna happen. So he replaced the 2 faulty switches and left. So, if you want a glitzy sales and marketing pitch, and want to write a big check, he's your man. I am going to find an electrician like the one I had, who would fix the 2 switches for about $150 and we'd both be happy. As it was, I paid about $600 for those same two switches. i used this company a few years ago and they used to be great. late in 2022 they decided they wanted to completely change the company around. i didnt know this.. i called and asked them to replace my bathroom fan/light combo becasue the old one was noisy . they came to my house and told me of the changes. they used to be great to talk to but now they read everything out of a dumb book...they then charged me $419.00 to tell me it would cost a total of $1930.00 to replace the light becasue they wanted to replace the line and work on main box... it worked just fine before... i asked how much current price is to upgrade to 200 amp service. ( 2 years ago they quoted me $3500.00... the new price is well over $10,000.00 they are nuts. they went from being cool and speaking with you in laymans terms and polite. to a company that reads you a sales pitch and wont treat you like a person. they also tripled their prices... avoid Jenoah at all cost unless you like getting ripped off. read more
