Downgrading my rating from a 5 star to a 2 star. I called Grizzly Firearms Inc today about having an online ordered trigger delivered to them, an FFL. The FFL requirement is due to the new CA AB 1263. Shockingly, the store said they would charge "$25 to $35" just to "process" the trigger. This immediately came off as exploitative of law abiding consumers. I was supposed to agree that storing a tiny trigger group would cost Grizzly Firearms Inc $25-$35? Additionally, the desk clerk suggested that trigger orders from online retailers must be delivered to an FFL, which I later found to be inaccurate. I later contacted another FFL, who asked for $10 to process the trigger, and informed me that online retailers can actually ship triggers to consumers as long as the latter agree to sign the package and verify their addresses. It is unfortunate that FFL and citizens must abide by California's 2A-infringing laws. However, I find that charging consumers $25-$35 for accepting online transfer of mere trigger groups, which take up little space, definitely come off as greedy and unpatriotic. Very disappointing, and extra disappointing knowing that this FLL claims to be a Christian business. This is not it! read more

Came in to get some work done on my CZ. Before some of you haters talk, yes it is CA compliant. Anyways came in to get my optics looked at and buy an extra magazine. I fell in love with their inventory. But more than anything their customers service is amazing. Ended up buying an AR from them. Brian and his staff were very respectful and even had a lot of knowledge and even when I spread some knowledge they were willing to listen. Other gun stores they act like they know everything and when you share the knowledge they even make you feel like your wrong for knowing something they didn't know. They have a lot of experience and gave me some constructive criticism. That is why I will be taking my dovetail mount off and get it installed with a slide cut instead. A review should've written long ago. I met Brian the owner at the gunshow here in SoCal in Jan 2023, he and his crew were very informative with the handgun as the first time buyer. i might get laughed at but hey, its ok. First time gunbuyer here and i just recently purchased a house and have a 4month daughter and wife. so i thought i should probably get something to protect my family and my home. so after lookin up and reading extensively on yelp i came across "grizzly firearms" so i read the reviews and also saw that it was veteran owned, me being active military i thought this was a no brainer. drove over to the shop and was greated by a gentleman( don't remember his name, im sorry) and told him how i was looking to purchase my first firearm.... we talked for about half hour he showed me what they had in stock and let me check them out they had the glocks the smith and wesson's and also AR's. i was more towards a pistol because AR was not something i wanted to get at the time finally chose the smith annd wesson sd9ve we got the paper work signed and paid for it. the gentleman was all Class. forward a week when its time to pick up my pistol. i left base around 3 and got to my house around 430 on friday, as it was the day to pick up my firearm i called and said hey is this a good time to head over? gentleman at grizzly firearms says that unfortunately they were goin to the san bernadino gun show and are leave the shop in 5 min i said no worries when the soonest? he said tuesday, tuesday didnt work for me because i was not goin to be in town so we were in a bit of a dilemma. the owner brian says "hey tell you what, give me ur phone number and when we get back ill call u either sunday or saturday to come pick it up. i was blown away that the owner would do that for me, just a customer (keep in mind that there closed sundays) Honestly from the minute i got there to the day i picked up my firearm NOTHING but great customer service and extremely professional people there. Another great visit with a bunch of great people. My wife and I went by today to pick out my Christmas present. As always we we're greated with "hey we've missed you". This group even remembers us by first name... a BIG plus in my book. I wasn't expecting to spend a lot of time there, I knew what I wanted, and they were on their second day of a sale event. I spoke with TJ and told him what I was looking for. TJ picked my brain... I could tell he wanted to make sure we were on the same page. While we were there, I also added to my collection, but that is besides the point of this post. TJ took the time to speak with us on a more personal level. My wife has been battling cancer for a while now. The genuine questions of "How are you doing?", "How are you feeling", "How much more treatment do you have left?" were heart felt, even the "we're praying for you" that Brian extended to us. It was great that everyone took the time to say "hello". The 4 of us talked, I told them that I was planning a custom AR build for my wife when she is finally deemed "as cancer free as possible" as her trophy. We talked about what I wanted to look like. TJ and Brian assured us that it would exceed our expectations. I cant tell you how long we were there, honesty I lost tract of time. What I can tell you is that it was so great to know that this crew is here. Watching my wife go thru the struggles of battling cancer and knowing there are people out there like the crew at Grizzly who would take the time to talk or be a shoulder to cry on even if your there just stop by to say hello is an amazing feeling... no purchase nessasary AND on top of it during a sales event!!! Where do I start, I was simply visiting a gun in Costa Mesa, after a few hours of talking to a few firearms dealers and experts I came across the grizzly firearms tent. The table displayed beautifully with amazing looking ar-15 and one very good looking ar-10. I was acknowledge and treated very kindly by the 3 gentleman under the tent, none of which ever asked me if I wanted to buy a rifle, they simply asked me how my day was going and if I'm enjoying the gun show, I didn't get ambushed by the "you looking to buy a gun/rifle?, buy one from us!" question. I began speaking with them, extremely knowledgeable of the ar-15 platform, spent some time there and decided to move forward with asking them what they would recommend from their line up. I was definitely informed properly, did all the paperwork and the transaction was very smooth. After the waiting period I visited their location in riverside where again I was greeted to a very home like atmosphere, these guys are amazing! I got a 100% thorough breakdown and full explanation of my newly acquired rifle. Love it! Iron sights, optics a couple of mags, ammo and a case all for a very very generous price. In response to the owner replying to my review. Brian you know I reached out to you on several occasions . That is the truth. After you gave me the run around I did take my rifle to someone else and had them strip and inspect it after it was built out of spec. I did buy a new parts because the ones you installed were causing it to malfunction. I did contact you after they inspected it. They stated the barrel you just threw on my rifle was not a true 5.56 barrel. Why would you warranty a rifle that someone stripped and put new parts on. No I didn't want to bring it to you. Because even after this last time I spoke with you I still didn't get a for sure ETA on when it would be done. Only that you would take a video of it functioning. Brian You did have a heavy set woman working there. She may not have been on payroll. But she hung around and answered your phones. She even spoke for you when you were "BUSY". Like I said before I originally brought my rifle to you because after the FIRST time we spoke you said it may be the trigger spring configuration. That's when I brought it in and I even bought more magazine from the woman who worked there. Please don't patronize me with the "God Bless". The guys at grizzly Firearms are amazing!!! I first came across them at the Ontario gun show. They had a great selection of AR 15's. I drove down to thier shop yesterday looking to purchase an AR. I am left handed and have been in the search of a left handed AR. When i got there they had no complete lefty AR's because they had sold them all at the gun show over the weekend. In less than 15 mins they built a complete riffle for me. That is GREAT customer service. While i was there though i saw a nickel plated 1911 38 super and decided to go for the handgun instead.
