    Friendly greeting at J'sPC!

***** The best kept secret in Sonoma County ***** This is a place to go when you want to talk photography and buy camera gear. I happened upon this shop out of nowhere and consider it a favorite stop when I'm in Santa Rosa. Ofelia (the Shop's terrier) is usually waiting to greet as you enter. There are photo supplies on all the walls which I love to check out as I make my way to the counter. Enough about the atmosphere and more about the owner, Jeremiah. This guy matches my passion for photography and has an answer for all my questions. He even put together and taught a photo lighting course that was awesome. My wife wanted to know what I wanted for Father's Day and I told her I wanted anything from Jeremiah's Photo Corner. Of course I promptly went to Their Facebook page and posted that I wanted a Gary Fong Lightsphere. Well when my wife went to the shop they were ready for here and now I'm getting what I want. Thanks Jeremiah Photo Corner. Helpful, friendly and passionate... I'm so super glad to support this shop and recommend you do the same!

We went here just passing through on our way to the redwoods after going to Russian River Brewery. We had an old Polaroid camera and wanted to see if there was any film available. Our experience here was amazing. They were totally honest and the prices were great (beyond the fact that Impossible Project film is WAY overpriced). They were totally upfront about the absurd pricing on replacement film and talked to us honestly about our options. I bought some Illford C-41 black and white 35mm film anyways because the experience was so great. If you live in the area you should DEFINITELY come here for your photo needs. You'll leave happy for sure. I'd love to stop by again on my next photo excursion to the redwoods.

The camera and film he helped me pick out. He even showed me how to load it!

Ask the Community - Jeremiah's Photo Corner

I'm curious about having my film cannisters developed, every place I go gives me different prices and timelines. How much and how long does it actually take? Is it even worth it to develop these vintage photos?

Does Jeremiah's develop pictures? Also I have several slides to be converted to pictures. Do they do that?

They can have it done, but they have to send it out to do it. They don't do it onsite.

Fast forward through my original 6000 word review, which I already trimmed down and a few months to…read morethe night before our wedding, Luke was to make the drive to Carmel, CA and meet us in our wedding cottage in which we offered him a room. (PLEASE look for my *full* review here: http://www.lukesnyderstudio.com/2013/12/17/carmel-wedding-elopement-of-brianna-and-rodney/ ) I'm impressed with my ability to control my enthusiasm even down to 6000 words. Yelp won't allow me that much space, but it's worth the read, especially if you're reading these trying to decide if he's "the one." HE IS.) The second he showed up I knew in my heart our meeting was meant to be. He was every single one of my gut feelings I had about him and more. He showed up at our door with so much sincere passion to be there. He had an amazing attitude and an amazing smile to show it- the kind that lights up the room. He sat down with me and my husband and listened to us. He listened to us beam about our magical trip so far, he listened to our excitement over the coming wedding and he listened to every single detail we pointed out about our cottage and how "meant to be" it all was.... all while taking candid shots we would eventually be surprised to find. I don't know of a single photographer that would take this much time and careful thoughtfulness. Those are now some of my favorite wedding photos as they would come to be our last photos of being engaged. We hadn't even thought of it. We would come to know how much he listened and how much he retained when we eventually went through our wedding photos. He somehow captured every detail from the glass doorknobs to the dutch doors... Luke listens. This, we believe, is one of the most important qualities you can find in a photographer. If you look at his work on his website it's easy to see that he does; no two weddings are alike. They each look so characteristic of his subject's unique story. To say a few things more about his character, we had only one guest at our wedding and my two sisters who were our ministers. The energy, authenticity and personality of the photographer was very important to us. We chose every single detail with such meaning and symbolism- even the photographer. I still cannot believe we found this in him. It's SO MUCH to look for and he provided all. He was the PERFECT ENERGY to add to our special day and there is not a single person that could have taken his place. He was even there for my pre-wedding makeup when I freaked out having not been used to wearing so much. He was the calm energy there to validate that me washing all of my friend's great work off was OK. It sounds small typing it, but it was huge. I just appreciate Luke so much... which I'm fairly certain is obvious. I almost forgot to mention that Luke showed up with a bottle of wine for us and a "moon" of honey- because did I mention he is a bee-keeper? Yes, not only is he an amazing human being, he's also a gifted photographer and beekeeper. The honey was one of my favorite wedding presents EVER and delicious, too. I love remembering it! Now that I have gushed over my sentimentality for Luke, let me move on to my wedding photos. I'll probably cry through this part. They're beautiful. They're stunning. They're magical. They're authentic. They're creative. They're moving. They're REAL. They're artistic. They're enchanting. They're one hundred million of the most incredible adjectives you can think of. We are IN LOVE with them... every one of them... even the ones where my hair is windblown and my makeup was wiped off from nuzzling into my husband. Luke drove us to a beautiful spot I hadn't been to in years to take more photos. We didn't take posey, creating a moment photos- he took photos of us IN the moment, enjoying one another. This is why I say they are real. He even surprised us with a bottle of champagne. He blew us away with his angles. I am sincerely telling you that we are still puzzled by how he captured photos from the angles he did. We didn't even notice him snapping away. He's so talented! I simply cannot say it enough. He was the best photographer we could have found and our pictures prove it. You really will get what you pay for when it comes to wedding photography. I'd have paid Luke double for what we received from him. It was worth every penny and more. If you're looking for the total package in a photographer trust my review and the reviews of many others. He is your answer. Thank you again Luke! You have touched our lives and enriched our special day. We will always be grateful to you! Thank you for giving us TRUST in our photographer- it's one of the BEST parts of working with you!

Echoing my friend Cindy L, yes, this team is FABULOUSSSSSSSS and FASTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…read more I met Michael in 2009, and I knew he and his team would be my wedding photographer and cinematographer one day when I tie the knot. In 2010, I introduced my start-up company in Redwood City to Michael and his team to do an IoT video and they loved his work. The animation was pure genius and story line was so easy to comprehend. In 2014, I introduced my best friend, Cindy L, to Michael and his team, for her wedding, and she and her husband absolutely fell in love with Capture the Love photos and cinematography. Fast forward to 2016. When my NOW husband and I booked Nestldown for our wedding venue in 2016, I knew IMMEDIATELY who I would have as my photographer and cinematographer--the wonderful Capture the Love team!!! I did not even shop around. Right after we signed the contract with Nestldown, I immediately called Michael Soo and made sure we reserve him for Fall 2017 before another couple snatch him from us. Michael and his team come at a price, but you SERIOUSLY pay for what you get. I honestly don't know any team who work as fast as this team. We took our engagement photos and finished around 5pm and within 3 hours, we received sneak previews, and by 9pm, we received all our photos! We had our wedding on Saturday, which ended at 10pm, and by midnight, we received 2 sneak previews!!!! On Tuesday (yes less than 72 hours later), we received another 20 photos!!!! He informed us that all the photos will be ready by Friday afternoon (less than 7 days from our wedding!!) ! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY, no one works this fast, except this fabulous team. I keep looking at the 20+ photos and I am still floating on cloud 9 and reliving every moment of our wedding day. On the day of our wedding, the team showed up early, which was SOOOO MUCH appreciative, so they could ensure they were able to capture every little minute detail. They always had a smile on their faces, even when they have to deal with crazy family members and vendors who get in the way of the shots. I looked in the corner of my eye and I was personally annoyed certain ppl/kids were in the shot, but the team was very professional and never yelled or had a frown on their faces. This definitely helps keep the bride calm. I never doubted this team and trusted them whenever they told us to go here and there, and do this and that pose. I told them, "tell us what to do and we will do it!" I can't wait to see all the photos and the cinematography so I can relive one of the best days of my life! When you ask former brides and grooms for wedding planning tips, they always say, "spend money on your photography and cinematography!!!" Best advice ever since you get to keep these photos and videos forever compared to florals which will last no more than a few days! Thank you so much Capture the Love!! Money well spent!!!
