We are very disappointed at the work done in my cousin's house. Linky's just took care of the top dirt & didn't do much. It's terrazzo flooring. This kind of flooring lasts for 100 years. I was told by Linky's cleaner guy it's old flooring & doesn't clean well. We told him he could at least bleach it, meaning dilute the bleach with water & add a bit of white vinegar. He responded it will ruin the flooring. I've done it on this flooring & it came out nice & clean. On top of that, we left them while we did some errands. I could see a lot of dirt still on the floor. I felt I wasted $200 & should have called my regular old fav Stanley Steemer, even if I have to pay more. read more

I am very happy with the work that Cristian did cleaning my tile and grout. My grout was black instead of the light grey it was supposed to be and he made it look beautiful again! Even the bathroom floors and around the toilets look great. I knew I wanted it done but had no idea who to call so I registered at Home Advisors and Cristian called within 3 minutes. He was very professional and friendly, and his price was $70 less than Stanley Steemer, so I decided to give him a chance. I'm really glad I did. He showed up when he said he would, did a walk-thru to discuss what I needed, measured the floors and then got to work. (I had already moved everything except the dining room table and we just left that where it was and he moved it a few inches as he needed to.) First he sprayed a pretreatment on the floors and let that work while he put protectors on doors, walls, and furniture edges to protect them from his hoses. Then he got out his magic machine - it looked like a smaller version of one of those floor-buffers that you see in stores sometimes - and he also had a brush to get areas that were either too tight for the machine or especially stubborn. It took about 2 hours for 357 square feet and afterwards he did a walk-thru with me to show what he had done and a few spots that were just too stained for him to do much about (they were still better than before, though). He left everything neat and tidy. This is a family business and I really enjoy being able to support a local small business. Cristian was polite, thorough, and friendly - without being too much of a jabberbox. ;-) I wouldn't hesitate to call Linky's again or to recommend them to a friend. read more

Did a good job on the carpets but water damaged our wood floors. When I called and when they arrived I explained our floors and built-in cabinets butt up against the carpet. Even suggested they not clean the edges to avoid wicking. They assured me they had the necessary experience and equipment, including wands that eject minimal water. But instead of pulling the hot-water injector away from or parallel to the wood floor, they went over the edge, then towel-dried the puddles. The next morning we discovered every edge in the living room and bedroom floors had swollen up where the wood met the carpet. Despite their 100% satisfaction guarantee and advertising themselves as Water Damage Restoration experts, their response was to 1) politely imply they may not have caused the damage, and 2) text "We can only wait and hope that with time it will go down. [We have] had both outcomes, some pieces that have gone back to normal and some that have not." Seems this is not the first time, yet they didn't change procedures to avoid recurrence and insisted there was no risk. read more
