Very disappointed. Our vehicles transmission was rebuilt 3 years ago from Jerrys. Only 10,000 miles later transmission is needing rebuilt/replaced. We took the car back to be fixed properly. They will fix it at full price! Not even half, FULL!!! What?? No thank you. Not spending another 2600 for 10,000 more miles. Taking my business else where. This place has zero customer service. Okay. Report on the job. it WORKS !! Just like it is suppose to. I checked in with Tyler a week or so, just to give a report. Remember my trans had a mystery issue. So. Reported how was first tow, and everyday driving. However, I mentioned a minor hiccup where I was thinking computer. He said "drop it by, I want to check out a solenoid" he said. Ok.. I thought and dropped off. Few hours later he returned and "now try it" he changed said solenoid, and mentioned "these sometimes mess up". Well... The proof is out. We just returned from a 480 mile trip north towing our rig. I soon realized there was better throttle response, smooth shifts, and overall confidence in the trip. So again ... AWESOME !! Thanks to Tyler and Skip for doing what they do best!! Ok now just a quick report. I couldn't find where I put their number so came here to retrieve. That's when I saw some not so happy remarks. So ... I am here to UPDATE MY EXPERIENCE.... IT STILL WORKS!! No problems. We have maybe 12k+ miles since. Have traveled a lot, and towed our small camp RV and all good!! I only needed number to schedule a follow up. So.. don't give up, and be patient. Update. It has been almost two full years, and 27k+ miles and still going strong. My Mazda 6 that I have owned for 6 months was having some trouble shifting. I had another mechanic tell me the fluid looked fine, but he didn't work on transmissions. After looking all over Grants Pass for someone who would look at my car, I found Jerry's. Skip took my car for a drive and put it on the computer to see if anything showed up, this was free of charge. (Unlike another transmission place downtown that wanted to charge me $85 to just look at my car.) No codes showed up, but he said it looked like it needed a service and he would take a good look and make sure the transmission was not having any issues. Luckily it only needed to be serviced and it cost me $50 less than I thought it would. People travel from the coast and Medford/Ashland to use Jerry's service and now I know why. If you live in Grants Pass THIS is the place to get your transmission serviced by HONEST people. read more

This place is the worst, had a transmission rebuilt there and only had a little less than 10,000 miles put on it before it went out again. Took it back to see if they could do anything and was told it was past warranty and could do nothing after paying them 2600 dollars. 1400 in labor and 1200 in parts.10,000 miles over a little less then 3years? Come on guys...that's on you. Even a poorly taken care of rebuilt transmission should last AT LEAST 30,000. Would not recommend this place at all. I would give them a half a star if I could. read more

How would you feel if you spent almost $2,000 on a new transmission and then have to take it back 3 times. The last time was over a month ago and we still do not have our truck. How would you feel? read more

They replaced both shift solenoids, wire harness and upped the force valve 1/4 turn on my 1994 Fleetwood Southwind Storm Chevy P-30 (08/30/17). Spent some time while there talking with Jerry (owner) and he's wealth of knowledge as is the rest of his mechanics.
