In general I find that Jerry's has what I want and the staff is plentiful and helpful.

Jerry's Do It Best Hardware in Eden Prairie is a convenient location for household projects and especially for tuning up lawn mowers and snow blowers. The staff has always been friendly and approachable and willing to help even with unusual requests - sometimes those pesky product description aren't as helpful as one might hope! Bringing in an old part or a photo often gets quicker results. Easy access from Highway 169 and plenty of convenient parking too. Once your finished at the hardware, stroll on down to Jerry's grocery on the other end of the mall for convenient one stop shopping. The nicest staff! My family and I stopped in just to stretch our legs on a recent road trip when our kids got antsy. The staff we so nice and accommodating. I know that's not the purpose of the this store and I didn't have any projects to search for or need any assistance other than some space and grace. They gave us both. So grateful for their kindness and I'm sure they would be a very helpful spot to stop for a project. read more

My husband and I recently moved to Minnesota from Arizona and came here to rent a carpet cleaner. We were told we could not rent a carpet cleaner because we didn't have Minnesota driver's license. I've never heard of such a thing. This wasn't mentioned anywhere on their website and is not on Bissell's rental form online. Safe to say we will not be shopping or visiting a Jerry's in the future. The latest location for a Jerry's hardware is in a complex with a Jerry's Food store on Anderson Lks Pkwy off 169. If you are a Jerry's hardware customer the store will feel familiar. Employees are friendly and helpful, as is typical. The new store is well lit and aisles are well marked. My one complaint is that the overhead signage is a bit hard to read - white lettering on a light gray background is hard to read if the light doesn't hit it just right. Black letters would be a better choice. read more

This place is right on par with most of the other DoIt Best hardwares. The staff staff is friendly enough, but sometimes has a hard time finding their own products. It's in a convenient location, but you pay a little higher prices for that convenience. I go there when I need something quick, but I think there are better choices if you need to talk to somebody and get help related to your project. read more

I love Jerry's! I live about a half mile away, so it is very convenient to go there for any home maintenance needs. They have all the typical hardware store items, including the nasty plumbing parts that I seem to need too often. I also like their paint department. They sell Valspar brand paints. They can do sample sizes of custom colors, so I can get 3-4 choices to try on a wall before I commit to buying the paint for the whole room. Staff is very helpful. read more

Bought a Stihl chainsaw from these guys and they have been awesome in their customer service! They have a full time mechanic on staff that will work with your chainsaw to make sure it is ready to go. Plus, they'll tune it up for free after you've used it for a while. I brought my chainsaw back in after using it for a number of hours. I couldn't get it to start. The mechanic fiddled with the engine a bit (said that the carburetor often needs a little adjusting after it's been used a bit). Worked perfect after that! Was also helped and given great customer service by John, the asst. manager. Truly first class. Would buy from them again, especially a Stihl product! read more

I needed a replacement Weber grill cover. The cashier anchored at the register greeted and directed me to the Weber section while another employee promptly headed in the opposite direction. I brought my old cover. After about 5 minutes of trying to match it among many options and not getting any service, I left the store. I immediately went to Frattalone's, another hardware store but less convenient. There I received personal attention, including measuring my old cover to ensure proper fit. In addition to the $70 grill cover, I purchased 3 other items: a hand saw, caulk, and windshield scraper. read more
