I first took it to CBO (it was downhill from my house) but they stuck their noses up in the air--they were not going to work on a silly ebike! I rode over to Foothill, and talked with the staff there about what I wanted to do, and they were happy to help me. About $1000 later my Rad was super Rad, and Foothill had a customer for life. Since then I have literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars there--purchased 4 bikes (so far) from them and a whole slew of accessories--all because Josh and the staff were willing to talk to an e-bike kook. No matter how crazy an idea I have for my bikes, the gang there will listen, weigh out the pros and cons of my decision (many times saving me from myself), and then execute!
