I mentioned to her that since I was a kid my family would make annual trips to Pismo and we always came into her shop because it was "cool" and wasn't like anything we had in the Valley. This tradition has been going on for 39 years now. I mentioned to her that since having my own son (9y/o) he loves to go in and check out the merch. He had been looking for a Joe Montana jersey and during this particular visit and the one prior, the store was out of stock. The owner was nice enough to ask for my phone number and said when they got a new shipment she would let me know. Well, she held true to her word and contacted me about a week ago. We conversed via text and I asked for shipping details, price, etc and she was gracious enough to ship me the jersey and it arrived within a couple of days. The point of this post is that The Sports Forum is unlike any other sports memorabilia store you'll fined in or out of the area. The fact that the owner went out of her way to contact me and take the time to ship me the jersey speaks volumes of her and her business. I'd shop here or contact the Forum before going to a large chain store (i.e. LIDS) for their uniqueness, hospitality and prices. Thank you again and we hope to pop in soon!

My overall experience at Skate Warehouse was a quick, easy, and seamless process. I recently ordered and purchased a complete skateboard at the online store, which arrived in about 2 business days. The ordering itself was simple to say the least. With a variety of brands and sizes to choose from, I had no problem handpicking all the different parts for my board. The entire process took me 15 minutes to build a board from scratch and had a multitude of options much like a physical store. This greatly benefited me to fit my budget as nothing was forced, and I could see every price for every part. It was great knowing that the Online store was flexible and if I had any special requests I could write one on the order. Process aside, the skateboard arrived in a cardboard box with cushion papers. The board itself was ,as expected, new and appeared untouched. The company even sends each different parts trash in a separate bag for proof that they used the parts specified in the order. The board worked just fine after the first day of use. After a week of use I can confidently say that it was assembled perfectly and had no visual or physical problems. Because of the wide variety of parts and brands, I suggest that anyone purchasing them should do their research and should not purchase items blind. Altogether, I would highly recommend Skate Warehouse to anyone who is looking for a new custom skateboard for their quality and efficient operations. read more

I'm 48 and haven't skated vert since 1986, which is longer than most of the guys at the skatepark are old... 29 years, so when I walked into the retail shop of The Skate Warehouse I was a little intimidated by my own ego. All these dudes who rip and I'm looking at them like some old dweeb wanting to relive his glory days- which I am, only not the dweeb part (for those of you who are under 40 "dweeb" was a word we used to use that meant uncool). Anyway, I bear my soul and tell the two kids behind the counter that I need a 10' wide deck, 97A wheels no smaller than 60mm and something like Indy 210's because that's what we used to skate back in the Reagan era (for all you kids, Reagan was an old-timey President who now looks pretty smart when compared to the Presidents of the last 20 years.... which really says something). Back to the review- the two guys behind the counter confer and without emotion proceed to build me the most 80's pool deck one can get now without spending a ton of dough on a lame re-issue deck. And you know what else? When I left with the deck I felt better than I did after confession.... in other words I didn't feel like I had overshared and been judged for it. Thanks dudes. If you want to actually receive what you order, do not order from this website. I ordered a complete with Thunder Hollow Lights Suciu White trucks (2 x TRWHH/Suciu Collegiate Hollow Lights Hi\8"\White). I received the blue/black ones. This was an assembled board, whoever put this together literally read "white", grabbed blue trucks, and slapped em on. It clearly says White in the slip included in the package. Their return policy dictates that I do not skate the board and send it back to them and wait another week to receive the thing I ordered in the first place. Edit: I've received store credit (the amount of 1 of the trucks) after an email chain with customer support. My original point still stands, they might send you the wrong thing and just bank on you not complaining about it. read more

Well stocked, standard pricing. Nice to have a local skate shop in town. Staff is really mellow and let you browse and compare decks to find the right size. They are somewhat hands off and let you do your thing, which people like me prefer. I went in though and some parents seemed annoyed that they weren't being catered too. I've never ordered online through them so I can't attest to their service there. read more

The other thing is, that they did have a newer version of the shoe and a different employee had to step in to put two and two together to pull a pair out of the back.
