They do run out of the favorites but that just means I have to get up earlier to ensure I get the bagels I want. Wonderful authentic bagels are served here. The location is small but the people and environment are warm and inviting. It's definitely a neighborhood spot but come early, since they often run out of certain bagels by 10 am. I arrived at 9:30 on a Friday, albeit it was a holiday but it was packed. They've got a variety of cream cheeses to choose from like scallion to cucumber and dill. They also have fruit varieties as well. I opted for an everything bagel with two eggs. It was served hot and fresh. The bagel was crisp on the outside and tender and chewy inside. You can also get them by the 1/2 dozen and grab a container of cream cheese of your choice if you'd like. Although it's a far drive for me, I'll be back if I have a hankering for a good bagel sandwich. read more

Day old bagel! We know 1 bagel was not fresh. We just don't see why 1 out of the 3 we ordered was not fresh ---2/3 were fresh and they were actually really good (we're from NYC) obviously nothing here is NYC good but some come close. They're as good at the Hot Bagel Shop by Montrose (they are very consistent with their bagels) For the day old bagel with schmear--- we told them we wanted it "'not toasted" and it had "char marks" so it was toasted on the grill at some point but it didn't taste toasted. Anyways you know when something taste old? 6/5 Saturday morning around 1000am. We will be back hopefully with a better experience and I'll modify my rating then. read more

The cream cheese is so fresh that you're able to see and taste every ingredient in it. The bagels taste so buttery and homemade, half of one is like the size of a normal bagel you'd get anywhere else! They did forget a tub of cream cheese from our order(jalapeño popper) which they would have lost a star for, but after calling and letting them know the issue they were more than welcome to fix it by telling us to come back to get the cream cheese we ordered as well as get an additional one we wanted. Great food, awful service. Someone with restaurant management experience needs to swoop in and fix this place. Been here 5 or 6 times now. Quality of food is always good, but there's always an issue with ordering or receiving our order in a timely manner Examples: -When ordering online, the website does not reflect bagels that are out of stock. I've received a substitute every time. I usually order before 9am, so being out of stock already is kind of shocking. -Order is not ready by the websites pickup time. On multiple occasions, I've waited inside the building upwards of an hour waiting for my order. I've learned to order in advance and show up late, and I still end up waiting. I've also ordered in person or on the phone and still end up waiting. -Paid for add ons in sandwiches and did not receive them. On positive notes, great variety of bagels (when they're in stock) and delicious shmears. The early bird sandwich is my go to. And to be completely fair, the staff is always working hard. But that's the problem, they're working too hard because there is no organization or direction. Would love to see someone streamline the process and make things easier for the staff. read more

Bagel sandwiches, bagel dogs, flavored coffees, all fabulous! Totally worth the 40 minute drive from The Woodlands. Customer service is phenomenal but Deborah and Rizzo are especially great. I love this little independent local shop. Lots of bagel varieties to choose from, and sandwich options with the bagels. Absolutely perfect. We've tried quite a few of their bagels and haven't found one we didn't like yet. The owner is very friendly, and makes contact with the guest which I really do appreciate. cashier needs a little personality, but the owner is good. Prices aren't bad either for the sandwiches. Coffee and hot tea options and bottle juices are also available. Some of the juices are really expensive so pay attention to what you order. Because they're custom-made everyday, quantities are limited, so get your bagels early otherwise you'll see a big sold-out sign in the window. Well, this is a sad review for me to write because I love Jersey Bagels. But this last experience left me completely dumbfounded. I called in an order and spoke with Jaclyn. She was clearly distracted or just not paying attention because I had to repeat my sandwich order THREE times. It wasn't a complicated order- pork roll, egg and cheese on a plain bagel - yet she couldn't seem to grasp it. I said it slowly the 2nd and 3rd time and asked her if she got it. She said yes. I go in to pick up my order and I guess I should have double check it but I had my dog in the car and I wanted to get in and out fast. When I get home, I opened the sandwich and it was 100% wrong. I got a (what I think was) chorizo, egg and cheese sandwich. I'm sorry, but you'd have to be pretty impaired to mess up that simple of an order after explaining it 3 times! I stopped here after reading tons of reviews. I am a nova lox fan and that's always my go to. When I arrived they were almost sold out and had sold out of a lot of their bagels. It was only 10:30ish. I loved the spread selections. So many different selections and you can tell they are made in house. I got my nova lox sandwich. It was a little on the high end for a bagel sandwich. I paid over $13.00 for a small bagel sandwich (lox, onions, cream cheese, red onions, tomato, and capers with no accompaniments). I had it with the cucumber dill cream cheese which was FABULOUS and an everything bagel. Honestly wish they toasted the bagel a little more. Also, the smoked salmon was too salty! The bagel was tasty but was over buttered. We had to wait 20+ min for a plain toasted bagel with butter and an everything toasted with butter. Crazy because it took us 17 mins to get here. Coming from NY we have a high standard for our bagels (we know how they do). I give it 4 stars because the people inside were nice, the place was clean and the bagels tasted good.
