Totally legit bagels. I mean, these are the REAL deal. If you've ever lived in the New York/Northern New Jersey area, you know there is a bagel shop on every corner. And all of them are good. Come to Texas, though, and it's a bagel desert. Not any more. Damn, these are really good: crispy outside with a soft, moist inside. Super selection of all of the REAL bagel flavors (not the boujie flavors - although they do have some of those): plain, onion, garlic, salt, rye, pumpernickel, everything, sesame seed, poppy seed. All of the ones I got (and I got a dozen of a variety of their offerings) were scrumptious. Don't waste your money going anyplace else if you want a true bagel. No matter how you eat it (plain, with cream cheese, butter, peanut butter or as a sandwich holder), these bagels are fabulous! Had a nice chat with Josh when I stopped in; it's obvious this place has great employees. Sandwiches are available here too, so stop in for lunch if you're in the area. Otherwise stock up and eat one every morning for breakfast. Oh, you can't go wrong with that! Tubs of cream cheese (in many flavors) are also available. Nice little shop that was clean, nicely decorated with a few tables if you aren't heading back on the road. Been coming here for a while and they always have fresh bagels and great bagel sandwiches! Staff is super friendly, happy to make modifications and recommendations. They have space to eat inside but if you have a large group (more than 4) you might have a little harder time finding a spot but its perfect for a solo meal. read more

Service was great. Amazing and friendly. Bagels are good when you bring home and toast. Went this Saturday at 9 am and got a BLT, and sone bagels to take home. Next time I will ask for extra bacon. Not a lot on the sandwich. Need ti ask if their bagels are baked at the store daily. It did not taste like a fresh bagel. Will go back when I am in the area, but drove 45-minutes. Stopped in the other morning and got a half dozen bagels ( plain, blueberry, cinnamon raisin, everything). I went home and made myself a plant based bagel sandwich with plant- based eggs and sausage. 10/10 Honestly one of the best bagels and chives cream cheese I've had. The bagel was toasted to perfection. It was warm, had a slight crunch and still had a chew to it. Some places don't toast it enough, some places over toast it. This was to the T. The cream cheese was fresh and lught. So were the chives in it. I felt like I was sitting in my backyard on a spring morning, listening to the birds chirping while eating it. No exaggeration. came back for another bagel, this time i tried the garlic bagel. it was good, but a little on the chewier side. the bagel was served fast, despite having a lot of customers, though i feel that the bagel was more loaded up the previous times i've been here, but nonetheless still flavorful. i always appreciate the bagel chips as well. their joe's tea selection is delicious- so far the mango lemonade is my favorite. read more

What a cute little place to visit! The relatively busy bagel shop offering authentic New York bagels. They had a variety of bagels to try. I went ahead and tried the bacon egg and cheese bagel with a cinnamon crunch bagel. I really enjoyed my breakfast however it did lean on the sweet side as the cinnamon caramelized due to the toasting. I did expect a bit more egg and meat to bread ratio, which is the reason for the four stars. Overall, a nice breakfast spot that I will return to to try more bagels. I would say this is a really delicious bagel spot! My brother went and picked them up for us and wow was it a great spot. I got a jalapeno cheddar bagel with egg and cheese. The egg was seasoned really well, which other bagel spots struggle with. The one thing I wasn't too thrilled about was the bagel lacked jalapeños. There were only about 2-3 small pieces scattered throughout the bagel. It mostly tasted just like an Asiago bagel than a jalapeno cheddar. I just happened to be getting Starbucks and I saw this place in my rear view mirror I wasn't even hungry but I thought maybe I should try them out. I am sure glad I did! The guy running the place is super nice! I believe his name is Josh. True New York accent when I placed order over the phone. So I knew I was in for something great! Full service grill with eggs, real eggs, frying up. That sound is so good. Katz coffee, very good. Loud friendly NY operator mingling with customers. Great service as owner trains his team and hires friendly people. Inside nothing fancy, just right. The true mark of a good spot, clean bathrooms. I was working in the area, quick bagel (wasn't even hungry and was just looking for a place to post up for a few minutes). Ended up grabbing some to go. Bagels were not rolled right , there was no middle hole , they were puffed up and not much chew at all . They were more like Panera ( which is bagel shaped bread) This is constructive criticism so do not take personally and improve your bagel making process. I can't find one thing bad to say. Today was my second visit, and of course, I had to try something different. OMG!! I have a new favorite, the lox sandwich on an Asiago bagel with spinach and artichoke cream cheese. My father ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel and he too enjoyed it. Their bagel selection is large enough to satisfy everyone's taste for sweet or savory and if that isn't enough the flavored cream cheeses are the icing on the cake. The place is clean and the service is wonderful. When I'm in the mood for a bagel this will be my go-to stop. Hidden bagel shop that I'm super excited to start visiting more!! I got a lox sandwich with their onion flavor bagel, and I'm quite pleased!! Then I grabbed another "everything" bagel with some spinach artichoke spread. Fluffy with just enough chew, yum. The gentleman that made my bagel seemed to be the jack of all trades, from taking orders, answering phones to making my sandwich! There aren't very many bagel companies left, so I am glad that 4 Brothers, New York, Bagels is open in this small strip center near my home. They have a good selection of bagels and flavored coffees, including my favorite, Coffee, southern pecan. When I walked in it felt welcoming, and the staff was very pleasant. A young male was cooking eggs sandwiches that looked really good, but I had called the end and the order for a couple bagels and coffees. Despite having called in the order, they still were not ready and I had to wait about the same amount of time I would've had I just walked in to order it. The young man at the grill seem to work at a snail's pace. The female with a New York persona was pleasant and I could see she was a little frustrated with him. The bagels were very good...but I wouldn't say exceptional. I would definitely recommend this bagel shop, but don't go there if you're in a hurry. This was my fourth time in the store and it's always kind of slow. I hope that the neighborhood will support the small business. read more

Pleasantly surprised to have tried a handful of the flavors and bagels from here. The lox bagel is served open faced (and stacked!!!) with some delicious bagel chips at the side. Brought the French toast, everything, and cheddar bagels home for the week, and we're super happy with these as well. I made it out to the shop around 2pm, and lines were still building (because of their popularity, not for lack of quickness). My visit here was on Sunday 2/16. All the staff were pleasant and answered my questions. I ordered an everything bagel with egg whites and turkey. This sandwich was so great I wished I had it earlier. The bagel was so soft and fresh. I ordered a banana nut bagel for my son and it was the complete opposite. It was hard and dry as if it was old. I didn't have time to go back so I ended up getting him breakfast from Starbucks. I'm still deciding on if I will return because of this. Lol I may just go back and double check my food. read more
