After taking care of some business in the Cypress area for some weird reason, bagels came to the forefront of my mind y'all I don't know why it did but it did so I opened my Apple maps and I searched bagels and Jersey bagels popped up. I've actually had Jersey type bagels before. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was so glad I made that decision as soon as I walked in I smelled the fresh baking aroma of bagels being made. The place has an open feel to it. The ambience was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There were employees working and they greeted me as I came in. The menu was very big. I'm not gonna lie, kinda overwhelming, but a good overwhelming because variety is the spice of life. I forget the employee's name, but she worked the cashier and

...here and I said yes, and she gave me some great recommendations and I also saw that they had a wide variety of cream cheese to choose from she had me sample two of them and let me tell you who that bacon scallion cream cheese was on...

handful of people from Jersey who live out here now and I asked the employee if the owner was from Jersey and the employee said "yes she's sitting over there". I wanted to have a chat with the owner if she was available. I walked over and introduced myself and she had time to speak with me! Kids got a french toast bagel w birthday cake cream cheese and blueberry bagel with cinnamon toast crunch cream cheese and were elated. I got an asiago bagel with jalapeño popper cream cheese and was in love. Perfect bagels, chewy but...

soft with tons of flavor. Good amount of cream cheese, just a smidge too much for me but nothing I had to scrape off either. I also ordered a featured hazelnut flavor latte which was delicious, but it did take a very long time to come out. Right when I was getting ready to ask about it they came out and said they were starting on it. It wasn't ready until halfway through our bagels. It was a pretty busy time, but they had many people working too. My husband ordered an early bird sandwich on an everything bagel and the meat was too dry for his liking. Bottom line: come for bagels and cream cheese, skip meat sandwiches (and coffee if in a rush!)

I got birthday cake on a blueberry bagel with egg whites and it was so warm and delicious! super soft bagels but get there early cause the best flavors sell out fast!

I have not been in a long time and ordered a Too Good To Go! Wow so many bagels and I also received two mini cheesecakes. Excellent variety of bagels (humongous) and pretty good mini cheesecakes! That was a bit disappointing. I also ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel with the onion and chive cream cheese and fries. The bagel was absolutely delicious! I loved the onion and chive cream cheese - amazing! I would have just also added avocado on it and that would have been perfect. The fries were alright, not anything unique. The bagel was huge that I couldn't finish the whole thing. I found them to be pretty good texture-wise. It was warm and had a good balance between crunchy and chewy. I really liked it! I'd go back for the bagels for sure!

Ive had my eye on this place for months and I finally went in on a random morning before class and I got a plain cream cheese plain bagel with bacon bandit was delicious! I also got a blueberry bagel with blueberry cream cheese but forgot to take a picture of it haha my friends and I devoured the blueberry bagel. They will definitely be going in and getting a bagel soon. I would probably ask for lighter cream cheese when I go next time but it was delicious!!! The service was great and everyone had a smile. They also carry JOE tea!!!!

I saw Jersey Bagels on TikTok and made the 35 minute drive from Pearland to Jersey Village to try out their bagels. The line wasn't super long so I was able to order quickly. The staff were super friendly and helped with some recommendations for the coffee and cream cheese flavors. I ultimately stuck with what I know - an everything bagel with plain cream cheese and the crème brûlée latte. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were plenty of seating and the cafe/bagel shop is way larger than I expected.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They were super prompt in bringing out my order, and I chose to sit outside and eat. 10/10 Id highly recommend!

First time here thanks to TGTG. WOOWWW this place is a hidden gem. I haven't been this excited about bagels since my visits to the NYC and New Jersey. They taste extremely authentic. The baked goods bag I ordered from TGTG was well worth the $5. I received a variety both savory and sweet bagels. 7 total in all. They all smell amazing and as of this post I ate the cinnamon raisin and it was soft, sweetly, and mildly sweet which is surprisingly great because raisin anything is gross to me. I want to come back for a normal visit and try their cream cheese and coffee. I'll be back soon.

We visited Jersey Bagels two weeks ago. FINALLY a bagel place with BIG hand rolled bagels they have a great variety of cream cheese, and the coffee is great!!! They add a generous amount of cream cheese. One observation, this is coming from a New Yorker, because we take bagels very seriously. When ordering a "toasted dark bagel", it means toasted 2 or 3 times. I was super excited about tasting this beautiful everything bagel, toasted dark. I was terribly disappointed when my bagel was pale and not toasted as I had requested. Mind you, I told the girl at the register 3 times about "toasted dark". I am not giving up! Finding NY/NJ quality bagels in Texas is a big challenge. I think Jersey bagel is worth the trip. I am giving a 3 star rating an I hope on my next visit, I will be able to give them a 5 star rating. Jersey Bagels changed my life - and that isn't an exaggeration. On November 19th, 2023, my sister and I placed our order on a very busy Sunday morning, and stood in the corner next to the coffee area so we were out of the way. As we waited, I noticed a flash of color in my periphery - the barista had a tattoo on his arm of a band I recognized. I pointed it out to him, and in the busy, loud restaurant, everything seemed to go quiet. We talked for maybe 15 minutes and after I left, he was all I could think about. Long story short, you may notice it's March 9th, 2025. Josh and I are preparing to move across the country to Pennsylvania, and every single feigned excuse to see him was always accompanied with some of the best breakfasts of my life. These in-house, hand-rolled, baked daily bagels are as good as it gets down here in Texas. They make every single grilled sandwich to order and have a trove of options for schmear and bagels. Try their chocolate chip with sweet cream schmear. Or how about their everything or salt bagel with cucumber dill schmear? They've got sesame, garlic, rainbow, French toast, and so many more bagels with even more schmears like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, strawberry, blueberry, bacon scallion, and this month they even have Girl Scout Thin Mint schmear! Today I tried the Big Ed, which has salty Taylor Ham and bacon with a sausage patty, egg, and cheese. Try it on the egg everything bagel! Their bagel dogs are delicious, too, if they aren't sold out by the time you get there! From an insider - try the chopped cheese and loaded fries. The chopped cheese is like a burger on a hoagie roll and it's fantastic. Jersey Bagels gave us a bag of their bagels before closing early in anticipation of Hurricane Beryl and when our power went out for days, we were glad to have them. They even have a Pay it Forward board, where you can take a paid-in-full receipt and redeem it for the same item. Such a good way to give back. I will warn you - this place doesn't need my review. Social media has skyrocketed this joint from a small little cafe in the same strip into this big ol' location next door, and it's well-deserved for how busy they get. Luckily, good things are worth waiting for. We'll miss you, Jersey Bagels.

My husband and I have been waiting to try Jersey Bagels since they're grand opening! We both love bagels and we finally got a chance to try them today, they definitely didn't disappoint. This place is amazing. The bagels remind of back home in NJ. If you go try the hot breakfast sandwiches ( Bacon, Egg, and Cheese or Taylor Ham, Egg, & Cheese). We knew them before they had the shop and ordered bagels almost every weekend from them. They have worked hard to get here. The food and service is outstanding. For those who complain of about unexpected closures or running out of bagels, I suggest you check their postings online. They had some issues with equipment failures and then a death in the family last year. All of this through COVID and they survived, where many businesses did not. These are good hardworking people and will always get my business. read more

We got there at 9:30am on Saturday before Mother's Day, even at 9:30am they only had three flavors or bagels left. They sell out fast and they run out, so go early if you want to have more choices. Bagels we tried (everything, sesame and plain) were all good, we enjoyed them all. Everything bagels were still warm! We tried the strawberry, honey walnut and plain cream cheeses. Honey walnut was, by far the most popular for our family. Overall this is a great local spot. read more

2nd time at this location after many other visits when they were at a farmers market. Very happy for this business to make that transition!! I stopped by late morning and was greeted nicely by a lady but I quickly felt like I was bothering the guy that came out of back area. I attempted to lighten the mood but he was all business/could care less and I felt very rushed to choose. Everything bagels purchased to take home and they are awesome so 5 stars there but 3 for making me feel like he did. I probably would have bought much more read more

Update still great, the chopped cheese is something else too 10/10 keep it up y'all Best bagels in this city hands down no question. Shout out to all the goofy ol people who don't understand how bagels are made and why a place this amazing could sell out. this store deserves 5 stars and the ... hurt ... of people not getting there way is why it doesn't. A business that runs out of its product at 10:30 on the busiest day of the week is a poorly run business. I went this morning at arrived at 10:30 which of course is a bit late I understand. However there's no reason for there to be absolutely no bagels at 10:30 on a Saturday morning. I'll never return I don't think you should either. read more

I'm going with 2 stars only because their bagels are pretty decent, but DO not bring your service/support animals to their shop- they are quite rude about it. I was about to place an order, was asked if it was a support animal to which I replied Yes. I was then told to place my order and they would bring it to me outside, which is fine as I had all intentions of taking the order to go. I the. asked if their dozen is a bakers dozen, and they said no so I jokingly said, "that is not very 'New York' and their response was "neither is bringing a dog into my shop!" Ironically, when we were recently up there, we were not treated as rudely in NY/NJ. I guess one could easily report this to the ADA but I'd rather just bring my business to a friendlier shop, like The Hot Bagel shop, if I have to drive 20-30 mins either way. So be forewarned, DO NOT bring your service/support animal to their shop unless you want To feel unappreciated as a customer by confrontational interaction with staff. read more

Great place! Stopped here while passing through town and was not disappointed. We got a bagel sandwich, a jalapeño bagel w/ cream cheese, and a specialty coffee. Everything was excellent! I LOVE this place as an east coasters so I frequent the establishment. But today they MF tried it. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich waited almost 20 minutes but just for them to tell me they were out. I'm so annoyed right now I just can't. Now I'm hangry. Mind you I have already paid for my meal. So now I have no meal 20 minutes later and have to wait 5 to 7 business days for my money back. Happy Sunday read more

My family and I love this place! The service is always friendly, the bagels fresh, and the cream cheese is soooo delicious! Between my husband and I we've tried a variety of flavors and have been pleased with every selection. The breakfast sandwich with bacon and egg is packed full of bacon and is so good and filling. I'm pregnant with twins and was only able to eat half the bagel sandwich. Leftovers were just as tasty though! Definitely give them a try if you're in the mood for a tasty bagel with cream cheese of all flavors. read more

It was my first time trying Jersey Bagels this morning and Diva Deb and Rizzo Jerseygirl made the experience great! They gave suggestions on what to get and just had an amazing energy for 6am. I always thought I knew what bagels tasted like until I had bagels from here. I love the everything bagel, super big and flavorful. We enjoy the BLT bagel on everything. The bacon is super crispy and next time I will get the cream cheese on the side, since it's already a mouthful. Arrive early since it does get busy fast on the weekends. But the wait is worth it. read more

The bagels are great.....if you can get one. Sold out before 10am everyday. Owners need a course in supply and demand. I could open a bagel shop next door and put them out of business just by having bagels available til noon. If your hours are 6am-1pm and your out of product by 10am on a regular basis someone's not doing their homework. They've been open long enough they should know the demands and make adjustments. My wife has been there 7 times and only got a bagel once. She was there anywhere from 8:30am-10am each time. We waited in a 35 min line which was only 18 people long just to find out that our last choices were out by 9:30am. So we left. How many times do u turn away business before you lose your business? We won't go back. read more

I'm from Boston, so I know good New England style Bagels when I taste one. This place is delicious?! The only downfall is that they put a lot of cream cheese and because I'm lactose intolerant are usually scrape off the excess. But that does not stop me from coming back. Customer service is great, coffee is tasty in the bagels are delicious. Even if you get them for the next couple days there still soft if you see them up, you taste even better the next day! Don't hesitate give these bagels a try!!!! Check them out in FB where they post daily about new menu items and what they have each day. Good but way to expensive for what you get. I travel (use too with covid?) To NYC twice a year, that my standard. These are on par but a couple 2 or 3 bucks to expensive. Paid 7$ bucks for a toasted bagel with cream cheese, good flavor, WAY to much CC. Had to scrape it off to eat the bagel. read more

So starting off, we stumbled upon this gem on accident. On my way to work, my husband & I were hungry & were planning on stopping at subway but noticed this bagel place instead! When I tell you this was the best bagel I've ever HAD. I'm not lying. The cream cheese had the best consistency & PACKED with flavor. They even had the rainbow bagel with pink for breast cancer awareness. the owners were SO welcoming, friendly & immediately started offering suggestions. We loved it. My husband got the Taylor ham & egg on an everything bagel ... I didn't hear w peep from him while he ate. I had the rainbow bagel with strawberry cream cheese. FABULOUS. The cream cheese was so good, I ran back in to buy a Tub, I even bought a rainbow cream cheese one for my kiddos. Support your local places guys. The entire experience here was phenomenal & the spot is so cute! The owners are all from New Jersey & it just Makes everything more authentic & delicious. I had the seasonal jalapeño pepper jack bagel, Asiago and cinnamon. For the schmears I got the cinnamon, scallion, and jalapeño. The worker told me the best way to heat it up which was to air fry it for about 5 min and it did stay nice and soft inside while slightly crispy outside. I loved the scallion cream cheese because it comes with a shallot or mild red onion that gives it a lot of flavor. The jalapeño and cinnamon were solid. Overall, this is a good bagel spot and I like how many different bagel and schmear flavors they have. A competing popular bagel spot has recently opened in Houston and luckily they aren't very close to each other. Each have pros and cons. While those bagels are better fresh Jeff's has more options, is better priced, and has no wait time.

I appreciated her honest advice and got the dragonfruit strawberry refresher instead. It was definitely refreshing with the perfect amount of ice to keep it cold but not water it down. I also tried one of the mini croissants which is probably what will keep me coming back. Flaky and full of high quality cheese and spices, I wish I had gotten two! I'll definitely come back at an earlier time since a lot of the pastries were sold out.
