I spotted several Dave's Hot Chicken "Now Open" lawn signs near Amsterdam HS. As expected, there was a long line from the door to the registers. I ordered my favorite #2 Combo, 2 Sliders (Medium spiciness) & Fries ($14.99 plus tax) and a side of Mac & Cheese ($3.79 plus tax). They call your number when your order is ready. It took 15 minutes after ordering for my order to be packed and ready. The sliders had very crisp thick chicken tenders, slaw, pickles & orange sauce on soft buns were very good. The chicken tenders were crispy outside which had a sweet flavor, then medium hot taste! The crinkle cut fries were golden fried and firm. Dill pickle chips and tangy orange dipping sauce was included with the box of food. The Mac & Cheese had soft macaroni and orange cheese sauce, which I dipped the crinkle cut fries into for cheese fries. This place lived up to the hype IMO. I would recommend this place if you love to eat spicy hot chicken and fries. Still crossing my fingers, as they expand and open more locations including in Portsmouth NH, hopefully more in NH in the near future.

The food itself was actually good, my complaints really are not about the food. The problem is the restaurant itself and how poorly it's run. This is honestly the worst Chipotle I've ever been in, and possibly one of the worst fast food dining experiences I've had from a cleanliness and layout standpoint. The design of this place is bizarre. When you walk in and get into the ordering line, the line puts you practically on top of customers sitting at the nearest table. If people are using those seats, you're basically standing right over them while waiting to order. It's awkward and uncomfortable for everyone involved. Then there's the cleanliness issue. I could not find a clean table anywhere in the restaurant. There were at least six employees working while I was there, and not one of them made any effort to wipe down tables, even when they had opportunities to do so. The beverage station is tucked around a corner almost like it was an afterthought. It feels like they built the restaurant and then suddenly realized they needed somewhere to put the drinks. There were more dirty tables back there too. The bathroom was just as bad. My child went into one stall and there was no toilet paper at all. The other stall barely had any left in the dispenser, with a single loose roll sitting on a shelf across the bathroom. Garbage was overflowing and the whole area looked neglected. The food saved this from being a 1 star review, but the restaurant itself was not a pleasant experience. I won't be back to this location.

Alright let me tell you about this Wendys. Our young adult appetites could only ever be quenched by the elicit Baconatro Avehotand Juic Cheeseburgery x2 combo. We waited in line to order our food and amongst other phenomenal occurrences driven by six sleep-deprived minds we encountered the "potato machine broke." We didn't mind the cold salt sticks of fries, in fact it was rather enjoyable. On top of that, they were out of actual potatoes we discovered in lieu of ordering one a sour cream and chives baked potato. Personally, as I waited for my Four for 4$ I watched the fries and burger be placed on my plate and turned for perhaps 2 minutes to chat as the rest of the food was being prepped. By the time I had turned back, my sandwich had seemingly vanished along with one of my fries. Confused, I just let the muses work their magic while I waited with everyone else and I ended up with the proper food hoard- so really no complaints there. Flash forward through one of the best, and cheapest, meals of my life- a small child we sounded oddly like a pressure washer, a kitchen worker shouting "im done I'm done" before breaking into broken laughter (understandable to be fair), a beautiful view of a sunset- we decided to go to the bathroom before continuing our pilgrimage. Sitting down on a rather warm seat, I reach for a sh*t ticket and was faced with an empty container. No big deal. Looking around, I was met with a plump roll of paper towels on the floor next to some trash. Vaguely startled by the imposter, i was lucky to have my friend in the stall to pass me some tickets. When the gang met up, we exchanged similar experiences (cleaning up a mysterious orange liquid in the men's bathroom and having to physically harass a Wendy's toilet with only a slight, yet aggressive, punch to flush it.) All in all, an otherworldly experience- disappointed in the lack of avehotand juic cheeseburgery and baconatro but never the less 10/10 would recommend.
