I make a killer broccoli and cheddar soup, which is based on the Panera recipe. It's also the ONLY reason I go to Panera -- when I'm too lazy to make my own. While back in the day, you could enjoy bigger portions without the high cost, now the portion sizes are just too small for what you're paying. I don't eat a lot at any meal but even I don't have anything to take home with me, which NEVER happens. Normally one meal at ANY restaurant gives me two meals for back home once boxed. My husband was still hungry after dinner, which was soup and a sandwich. He eats normal-sized portions and the 2 for 1 are TINY portions! Also, the way you order, pick up, and all the rest at this particular spot is just a tad confusing. There's no one helping or directing. I really would opt for this and pay more just to NOT have fast food but I would hope Panera could at least make their prices match their portion sizes. read more

Zero stars for "manager" named "AJ" who expected me to drive all the way back to pick up a missing item, and kept saying "you have to come in if you want a refund or I can give it to you", so I kept saying, "I can't, I need to feed my kid." He then said, "Yes, I know, you said that 3 times already." If he hadn't kept telling me to come in, rather than just refund my online order, I wouldn't have had to keep repeating MYself. Order online orders here have repeatedly had missing items. Once, okay. But 3-4 times now in as many months? No more chances. read more

Stopped in for two breakfast sandwiches on a Saturday morning. The kiosk would not take any of my credit cards so had to use a human to order. 2 items that were unorderable on the machine were actually available, great system. I placed my order at 10:45 and walked out with my two items at 11:05. There were zero other diners in the restaurant during my visit but there was online and drive-thru ordering activity. I think there should be some priority given to customers who actually enter the restaurant, no? Not sure who was managing but no one was all that apologetic about my hanging out for 20 minutes. I made the mistake of tipping the order person before I knew how this was going to go down, there's a reason tipping usually occurs after the experience. Please do better or people may stop going inside your establishments altogether. Terrible. read more

Ordered two you pick 2 meals totaling 27.05$ received two very small sandwiches with one thing slice of meat. Appeared and tasted like bread and mayonnaise. The Mac and cheese was cold. On another note the young lady at the drive through window was very pleasant and polite, which is where the one came from. Based off the food should be a zero. Not going to Panera for the worlds best hoagie but would appreciate some meat for 30.00$. read more

On my way home this afternoon, I drove into the parking lot of Taco Bell for some nachos. Thinking about it, I decided to go healthier so I crossed the highway to Panera. The drive-through was free so I pulled up and asked if they had an Asian chicken salad. The confident speaker voice said that they did so I said "I'll take that and that'll be it" and proceeded ahead to pick it up. The girl at the window said $9.60..... I came home with the salad and was actually shocked when I opened the "bowl". I saw a handful of romaine lettuce that looked like it came from the open bag in my refrigerator that I didn't seal tightly yesterday. There was a handful of those Chinese fried noodles all over the top that camouflaged (I swear) about 3 ounces of chicken. There were two, 2oz. cups (filled one -half full) of what I now know was supposed to be "light sesame dressing". It tasted and looked like it could be any dressing on their menu. And that was it. I looked up Panera's website for their phone number and to see if amounts were given in their "customize" tab - they are not. When I read that the salad had almonds and sesame seeds in it, knowing after eating it that the salad did not have a single almond or even "eau" di sesame" (including the dressing), I picked up the bowl and examined it for remnants of either. I found one single sesame seed.... I guess that makes me a liar. Oh. I don't want to forget to give them credit for the 4 inch piece of some kind of bread that I found laying (no wrapping) in the bottom of the bag. That's my experience today at the Panera restaurant on Rte. 30. The salad was awful and the outrageous price made it probably one of the worst salads that I ever purchased. My advice? Keep driving or get the nachos. read more

Went through the drive-thru to order a coffee; waited to even place the order at the speaker for about 10 minutes and when I got to the window to pick it up, I waited for 15 minutes before I took off, without my coffee! Several employees looked at me, many didn't appear to be doing anything but wandering around with a lost look on their faces, and not one single employee came to the window to assist me to even find out why I was still sitting there. This is not the first time this place has created an extremely long wait in the drive-thru but it is the last time I will visit this location. read more

Love the food, if they get the order right. Every time without fail, whether ordering online or in person, they never get it right - a sandwich will be wrong, a sandwich without bacon has bacon on it - and taking it back or calling them results in a weak "oops". It's not even worth ordering anymore because it becomes a forty five minute ordeal to get the order right...sorry Panera, can't do it anymore. read more

We've gone to this Panera quite often over the last few years & have been happy with our experience in the past. Over the last month we have been twice & it seems to have gone downhill. Always out of ingredients, soups are served room temp, at best & the staff seems to lack effort to make the customer happy. Last week we decided to try salads at Moe's instead & the food & service was much better than Panera. read more

They run out of any forms of bread to go with soups hours before closing. The staff frequently can be heard talking poorly of other customers & brag that they refuse orders that are too large. read more

The service is good here and the food is well priced for the meal your getting. When I first went to a panera I thought they were fancy soup and salad restaurants but they have a made to order fast food setup. The dining area was clean and the chipolte chicken sandwich was delicious. read more

I always feel Panera is a bit over priced for what they serve. Never a problem with what I order though just not a real special meal. I've eaten at the one in Amsterdam a couple times and at others they closely resemble each other with out much deviation on the menu. Sort of like an upscale McDonalds. read more

My husband and I, enjoy Panera's very much! The Cream of Cheese Broccoli soup, is like homemade. The half sandwich meal comes with a pastry for just another .99! Always seem to gravitate to the "bear claw!" We take it home for later. They place it in a bag. The service is wonderful! Just have trouble making up our minds what we want. But no matter what we choose, we seem to be very happy in the end. read more

They are extremely friendly here, always curious. The food is excellent. I like the fuji apple salad w/out chicken. But, either way it's yummy!!! I haven't had their breakfast yet though so let me know how that is because, the lunch and dinner selection is great!! read more

This is nice place to grab lunch. The food is pretty decent as far as franchise type places go. This particular location is one of the better Paneras I've been to. They have a drive thru that comes in handy sometimes. The staff here is always kind and attentive. What really impressed me about this place is the two managers I've seen here are really good managers. On one particular occasion, I saw the younger manager dealing with an absolutely crazy lady who was pitching a fit about something or another and she was being absolutely insane. She was telling super load at him and was right up in his face screaming. The young man never once raised his voice and was able to contain the situation Be calm this crazy lady down within a minute and he did it all in a professional, respectful manner. After incident he went to every table that witnessed it and apologized for the scene...And did it so without blaming the lady or anything of the sort, he simply stated he was sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused us. Super classy young man. The only thing I dislike about Panera is taking your dishes to the garbage. It's usually a messy area and it just feels grubby. All in all, this Panera Bread is high on my list and is the best Panera IMO in the area. read more

Just about the same as any other panera bread. The drive through at this location always seems to take forever though. Also worst coffee ever, by far the worst iced coffee I have ever gotten, it was about 68% Cream 30% Ice and 2% coffee, yuck. read more
