Amsterdam Dave's Hot Chicken Review June 30, 2024 I'd never heard of DHC before. Frankly I thought it was a cosmetic thing my wife gets in the mail. The guy at the counter was really nice and though the prices were a bit steep I chickened out and got the normal slider and fries with nothing too spicy. I love spicy but I didn't want to freak my family out. The decor was super cool and colorful and busy. The sauce was amazing and the kale slaw was phenomenal. My wife and I were very tempted to get another one which was much spicier. We would go for the very hot next time. But we didn't. Next time. We plan on passing through Amsterdam again on Saturday. We look forward to more Dave's Hot Chicken! Our little one has an egg allergy and peanut allergy. He got the tenders and it was great. It came with a slice of toast, probably the most expensive slice of toast ever. But to make sure he was taken care of we got the OREO shake too which was really really good. A nice sweet contrast to the sandwich. In about 2 weeks I might be coming through again with a bunch of HUNGRY boys and Dave's Hot Chicken better watch out! They will be hungry! Their service is AMAZKNG!!! THEY ARE SO NICE!!! Especially during the day. Me and my mom come in door dashing everyday and there is a lady there who says hi to me and even remembers my name!
