First time visiting after being enticed by a special posted on Facebook. Food was ready on time and a 3% cash discount is available for those interested. Owner was very helpful at checkout, as well as friendly. Got home and the pizza was just so good! A substantial amount of cheese with a great sauce ration. First of all, the food. WOW!! Quite literally the best garlic knots we have ever had in our lives, and the pizza sauce with them was super tasty! Fried mushrooms were pretty good, I mean fried mushrooms can only get so good. We were torn on the pizza...I think it's delicious and loved the fact that this is one of the ONLY pizzas we've gotten locally that passed the fold test when we got home!! That is, the end of the slice didn't bend down when you hold it to eat. My boyfriend thought it was pretty regular pizza, but the sauce was a bit sweeter like I prefer and the topping to pizza ratio was perfect. Service was as good as you could ask for. Well staffed and not a lot of waiting around at all. From payment to leaving was under 3 minutes and all the staff were friendly and double checked that the order was accurate before I left. Food was also fairly priced, not something you see so much these days. Ambiance here was lacking but who goes to a pizza place for the ambiance? I have been skeptical about trying this place, because the exterior is quite rough around the edges. But they are always packed when I drive by, and they are probably the only place that will deliver to my house in Duanesburg. So we finally gave it a try, and I've got to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza. Not the best pie I've ever had by any means, but definitely the best in the immediate area. The crust was perfectly thin and cooked with a little char. The sauce was sweet with herb notes. The only thing I would change is that the cheese was applied a little too heavily, so everything kind of sank to the middle of the pie. But overall this was pretty tasty. read more

Family run, good location, solid local takeout & delivery pizza place. I wouldn't recommend eating there as it's not really set up for that. Best pizza in the 'Burg in my opinion. We took a drive just to get out of the house and Yelp pointed us to this restaurant. The food was amazing! We had a chef salad that was incredibly fresh with generous amounts of meat and fresh veggies. I had the chicken Parm sub and everything was absolutely perfect. The right amount of sauce, cheese, chicken and all cooked perfectly and served on a fresh roll. Everything you could ask for! read more

Not impressed. Stopped for a burger on way past. Thought it was a good price at first. But 50 cents for bacon ok still good. 50 for Cheese ok still 50 for pickle And it's served on a half a sub roll, it didn't fit in and it was a normal frozen store bought burger with Walmart white cheese. You can't judge a book by it's cover. I'm a sub fanatic. I had got a mailing a few years ago but never found the place. Today I was coming up route 20. To go to my daughters house and just before the turn for I88 I seen the sign. We went to my daughters and when we left and we were tired and I was hungry so I suggested Rosa Villa for a dud. She wasn't to hungry so I said let's split an Italian mixed my favorite. Went in and ordered it with extra onions which we love. Surprisingly they use purple onion my favorite. It was $9.99 for a large. When I got the bag the sub was cut and in a nice container so it wouldn't get a squashed. Got home and I couldn't believe the size of it. Everything was so fresh. It's a good thing we split it because it was that big. As far as meat they don't skimp. The meat was a little thick and surprisingly it was so tender and easy to chew. We both said this was the best sub we have had in a long time. One thing for sure is we will be regulars. Luckily it's close enough for us to go to a lot. jersey Mikes, Subway, etc. you lost our business. We will be Rosa Villa regulars. read more

Sadly, yet another "formula" pizza restaurant. I found it to be about a step above frozen supermarket pizza. The chicken wings were too expensive for what they were - not much flavor at all. I have not tried any of their sandwiches and most likely won't. I was truly disappointed as it would have been nice to have another take out restaurant in the area. read more

Extremely disappointed. I had friends arrive in town starved after an extremely long road trip and promised some quality food. My parents and brother both suggested this restaurant so I ordered away hoping the best and telling starving friends to bring their appetite.. my friends arrived and we ordered 50 dollars of food together at 5:25, relaxed and waited for the food.. 30mins..45mins no problem, I understand places get busy.. an hour even, no sweat.. Good for Rosa villa, I assume business is good! But then my friends start getting anxious around an hour and 15mins after ordering. nothing.. holding out hope trying to calm their nerves.. I call after an hour and 30 mins, politely asked if the order was on its way. They girl assured it was about to arrive.. we sat and waited another 30+ minutes.. for a total 2+ hours before my friends couldn't wait any longer and went to pick up food elsewhere in town.. and then after I called to cancel the order (extremely politely mind you in which i was hung up on... or got disconnected i don't know but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt lol) the extremely nice delivery girl arrived with all the food unknowingly of what just happened.. I told her what had happened and she was polite and apologized and left with the food. My friends were on there way back with Johnathans which was good! Mainly because of the timely manor (25mins) Who knows, maybe I'll give Rosa villa another go to see what this food is all about one day.. but I'll make sure to pick it up because it could be the next calendar year for delivery. read more

Ordered delivery. 10 boneless wings and an 8 cut pizza with mushrooms, olives and pepperoni. Wings were passable...a little over cooked. Pizza was awful...soggy crust was horrible, sauce totally Poland and light on the cheese. Won't be ordering again. read more
