The was perfect and well worth the wait as it was now basically lunch time. We shared a fabulous pastrami sandwich with pickled beets, Gouda, and arugula and a cup of the freshest, crispest, most flavorful watermelon gazpacho I have ever had. I think I might be ruined. The staff were friendly and helpful. On the inside is a very large shared dining table which seems to be a fun place to gather. The menu is inventive for lunch and the food is well prepared. The only color they had in store was baby blue, so I agreed to buy a red one from their warehouse, paying upfront. When I picked it up the salesperson (same one who sold it to me), handed me a shopping bag and sent me on my way. I trusted them and didn't look in the bag. Thirty minutes later, a $267 tea kettle is rattling around my trunk. No box, no paperwork, nothing. The salesperson handed me the bag without saying anything!! Any reputable business would let you know the situation, perhaps offer a discount, and give you a choice about whether you still wanted the item. I returned the item and will never be back again. When this business goes down, they will only have their own questionable business practices and poor customer service to blame. (btw, their breakfasts are super oily and disgusting)
