This place is a dumpster fire during lunch. Do not order if you have a time limit because you can expect to be waiting there for 20-30 minutes even if you have ordered online. The employees just seem flustered. No one knows what to do. Everyone is just looking at each other for help. It's honestly kind of sad to see. People are always asking for refunds when I am there because their order is taking so long. I like the food but no one here knows how to do their job. It's just a chaotic mess. I think you need new shift leads and managers because the ones you have aren't providing any type of support to employees or customers who are frustrated. Placed an order online 30 minutes prior to arriving. Showed up to be told that it will take 5 minutes, which is completely fine. Stayed at the front counter to ask for the drink I ordered and before I could get the words out of my mouth, one of the workers yelled at me to sit down. I simply explained I wanted my drink while I waited and she rolled her eyes. I sat down and after 20 minutes they called out my order. During this 20 minutes I saw multiple workers just standing doing nothing. My sister that lives in Eugene had told me that she wasn't a fan of Jersey Mikes. And I was like, whoa. While in Eugene a few weeks ago, I decided to get a giant to share with my parents. They are older and I try to bring them lunch when I'm in town. I know why my sister feels that way. It was not even close to the quality of my Nimbus location. I have moved out of the area, not far. But I made a point to go to this location when I was in the area. I will try the location close to home here in Hillsboro. I'm hoping it's as good as Nimbus. Or I might need to move back. read more

Clearly, the employees at this location don't think. We placed a group order, and each one of us entered our name along with our customized sandwich. The bag of sandwiches that showed up however came with a receipt that just had menu item numbers, and each unidentifiable sandwich only had its item number written on it. Nothing to identify whose sandwich it is, nothing to identify customizations, nothing to show what kind of sandwich it even is without consulting a menu. We ordered, among many other things, 3 number 13s, and every one of us ended up with the wrong sandwich. How are we supposed to see from the outside whether something has mustard on it? And not only did we have to touch all of the sandwiches to find our own, mine didn't even exist. Nothing resembling my choices was delivered, and all the sandwiches were soggy (which is why I ordered mine dry). Instead of a room full of people excited about lunch, we had a room full of angry people trading half eaten sandwiches. I've been to this location once before and it was a great experience, but today I just got home with my sandwich, the club sub. Behind the counter seemed like a hot mess. They forgot my mayo and bacon on my sandwich, the bread is stale but they made up for it by completely drenching my sandwich so the whole bottom was soggy. And I only had a 8 minute drive home. The sandwich was a 3/10. This JMS earns 4 stars for outstanding customer service. We have visited this Jersey Mike's several times when visiting our son and his family. They love Jersey Mike's. Jersey Mike's might be the best of the big chain sandwich shops. I am a fan of their California Turkey Sandwich. What I have to do is stop ordering it Mike's way. I get hung up on the idea it is better his way but WTH, they drown the damn sub in oil/vinegar and the bread is a mess when we get home to eat it. I am however a fan of their cherry pepper relish. This shit is the bomb! Why don't they bottle this and sell it on the open market. I dip my friggen chips in it. Anywho, I digress. Jersey Mike's is a solid sandwich shop. Had a good sandwich at another Jersey Mike's, so our expectations were high and boy were we disappointed. No greeting when we walked in and it was several minutes before our order was taken and more than 10 minutes before we finally got our food. The restaurant was almost deserted and there were 6 employees, so I am not sure what they were doing but it wasn't customer service. This new Jersey Mike's location on Scholls Ferry and Nimbus recently just opened up and I got a coupon that they passed out to local businesses for a free sub in exchange for a donation to check it out. The subs were a solid 4 stars, reasonably priced, and the whole place reminds me a lot of Jimmy John's. The deli slicer they're using for the meat is certainly a bonus and they're generous with their toppings. The line was pretty long, but it went quickly. I think it took around 10 minutes total to get through it. They also have online ordering to speed things up. The people there are great and friendly. One worker later came up to me to check up to see if everything was good. One thing I was disappointed about was the fact that there's plenty of room for outdoor seating but there was none. Jersey Mike's is my favorite sub shop!! The bread and meats are fresh and delicious. Toppings are basic, but sufficient. My favorite is the Italian with everything. My daughter likes the meatball sub and my hubby likes JM's famous philly steak sub. Customer service is always friendly. This location is big, so there is always plenty of seating. They don't have Pepsi products in their fountain drinks, but they have great sweet tea and unsweetened tea, I like to mix them to get it just right. read more

For me the secret to enjoying the crap outta Jersey Mike's was a program of excess ~ think, if I were in Jersey, what would I order? A semi healthy turkey sub? No! A nice tuna salad? Hell, no! I ordered a GIANT BIG KAHUNA PHILLY which is a $12.95 monster! This foot & 1/2 long, forearm-sized sub was smothered in onions, peppers, jalapenos and EXTRA cheese. Served piping hot with tons of super tasty soft cheese steak. Drool. Just like Homer Simpson I ate on that sub for days. I shared it with like 3 other people and still had a couple of servings left. We were there at 1:30 on a Saturday. There were only 2 employees and a very long line that never got shorter. Because they couldn't get away from the counter, every single table was filthy. I'm sure it wasn't the fault of these two guys that it was just the two of them, but I didn't appreciate one of them flirting with a girl who worked nearby. Just make my damned sandwich. Focus! I was so done with this place by the time we finally left. Oh and the bread was super crusty/crunchy. It hurt the roof of my mouth by the end of my meal. Not a bad sub. I've had better but Mikes has a decent sandwich. The prices are a little high but they do pile on the meat so I guess it's a good value. The service can be fast or extremely slow depending on when you show up. If no one is ahead of you, they'll make your sandwich quickly. If there is a line, plan on being there a while. REAL Easy Coast sub subs don't want to hear about "special orders". More than simple instructions on how you want your sandwich made and they'll just point you to the door. Part of the reason for the PAINFULLY long waits to have your sandwiches made is the EXCESSIVELY long number of questions they ask. Making it "Mikes Way" involves putting everything on including the kitchen sink. That's fine, I suppose... but how many people actually want it that way? The constant dialog about what someone wants/doesn't want on their sandwich REALLY slows up the process. This is 2016! A chain like Jersey Mikes could find a far more efficient way to determine what's wanted. The sandwich was four stars. The lack of efficiency when ordering is two stars. 05/16/18 UPDATE: Returned for another Italian sub. I guess management has made some changes and not for the better I'm sorry to say. *TINY* sandwich for a pricey $8 that they call a "regular". It's about half the size of what most sub shops would give you for that price. On top of that, the meat portion was *SKIMPY*!!!! four VERY thinly sliced pieces of meat..... the sandwich itself was tasty but when I pay $8 for lunch I don't expect to walk out still hungry! Walked in at about 6pm yesterday, Sep 3rd, 2021 and had HORRIBLE customer service. There were four workers behind counter doing "something." I was the only other customer in the store (aside from a guy picking up a Grub Hub order) so I was just standing there. No greeting from the workers and after about 10 minutes of just standing there, I said, "Are you guys open?" The guy cleaning meat thing looked up and softly said, "yeah" But STILL proceeded to ignore more. I stood there another 5 minutes being ENTIRELY ignored. It was a very strange experience. If you want to wait 30 minutes after your order is supposed to be ready, the order to be wrong, and to watch countless orders go out before getting to yours, and then get attitude from the workers when asking when your food will in fact be ready, then this may be the place to go. If you enjoy good, well prepared food then I suggest going elsewhere. I don't like to leave negative reviews because everyone has an off day, but this place has never once been on time or provided a sandwich that wasn't made for the trash can.
