Big shocker here! Customer service was incredibly non existent. I walked in and there were no other customers. I said, "Hi! How are you guys doing?" to the female and male employee. No response. Ok I get it, you're in your 20s and I'm in my 50s so I don't exist. As I walk closer to the ordering area, I say again, "Hi! How are you guys doing?" (it's kind of a human thing to do). They mumble "fine". I tell them my order and say "can you ADD American Cheese?" These two Einstein's just put the American and not the Provolone that already comes with it. I repeat, the word ADD, as in please put ADDITIONAL American Cheese to the sandwich. They finally do that and the entire time they're having a personal conversation to the point of stopping their final steps to the order so they can...you know, finish their life changing convo. Once they're done and I've paid, I walk out with no "thanks have a good night" or any kind of customer service thanking the customer for coming in. Why would they? Luckily it's a turnkey business and pretty easy to make a sandwich so what can we expect? ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT RETURN. Don't bother with the default Owner or Manager's reply to this. Wow. Probably the dirtiest and worst run Jersey Mikes I've ever been to. Only two employees on duty at lunch time. One handling the internet orders and the other handling the walk in customers including making the sandwiches and ringing them up. Took 15 minutes for me to order with only two people in front of me. I decided to give Jersey Mike's another go after my great experience last month. I regret my decision. I ordered the #8 Club Sub where I asked for no cheese, butter, or mayo and they put cheese on the sandwich. Odd thing is there was no mayo so maybe the crew member doesn't understand that provolone is a cheese... My throat started to close up as I was eating the sandwich. I'm deathly allergic to dairy. My face is now swollen, had to use an EpiPen, and will be spending most of the day in the bathroom now. Not how I want my lunch to go. read more

Jovanny and his crew had them all made, wrapped and labeled individually, and ready for pickup right on time. The sandwiches were fresh, delicious, and the order was 100% accurate, including napkins, condiments and dressings. When it comes to chain sandwich shops, Jersey Mike's has to be at the top of the list. We love the close proximity of this location. Whether we grab sandwiches for a beach trip, after school treat or catering, this location has been great. The sandwiches are always packed with meat and toppings. I give them a five stars as being rated against other big chain sandwich shops. If rated against some delis in the area, they don't match up but in fairness that's like comparing Taco Bell to a great Mexican restaurant. Trying to keep it Apples to Apples lol. read more

I had one of the most unusual and rude experiences I've ever had at a Jersey Mike's while on a work trip in Carlsbad. This happened on June 4, 2025, around 8:30 PM, about 30 minutes before closing time. When I walked in, I noticed two employees, a male and a female, cleaning up. I politely asked if they were still making sandwiches, but neither of them responded. The male employee then started making my sandwich without saying a word, and it was very clear he was mad. He had a visibly irritated expression on his face the entire time and made my sandwich quickly and carelessly. After I paid, I looked at him and said thank you, as I always do when someone prepares my food. He didn't respond, didn't make eye contact, ripped the receipt out of the machine without asking if I wanted it and just walked away without acknowledging me at all. I've never had an experience like this at any Jersey Mike's location. I understand that it was near closing and employees may be tired, but if you're still open and serving customers, there's no excuse for being openly rude and disrespectful, especially to someone being respectful and polite. I'm a very patient person, but I know plenty of people who would've reacted differently to that kind of treatment. I hope the manager reviews who was working at that time and addresses this appropriately. I've always appreciated the service and quality at Jersey Mike's. Hopefully, the employee will soon find a different job he actually enjoys. read more

I read the other reviews and I wish they would cut them some slack, they just opened and are probably still being trained. They had tons of people in there, and mobile orders, and were still friendly and efficient. I had never had Jersey Mike's before but I got a coupon in the mail to come check this one out since it was new. It was yummy! The bread was soft, there was tons of meat and I love the seasonings! Well, after driving quite a distance and then finally arriving hungry and ready to eat (and use the restroom), the restroom had a sign, "closed to customers." So I asked an employee, possibly the manager (Hispanic guy), and he said it was closed to customers. I then asked him where are customers expected to use the restroom (health department requires it to operate), and he said at the next door Starbucks. This is not ideal specially if a customer is expected to pay premium prices for a "gourmet sandwich," but without the basic amenities. read more

We usually order a sandwich that's literally just bread and cheese (for my kids), nothing else. The DMH Jersey Mike's would charge me for the bread and cheese separately which was around $4.50.
