Yesterday Bella Mar treated me and Celina to cheesesteaks....where did this monstrosity come from you ask? Jersey Mikes....never had one so figured I'd try.... Bread-was ok I wouldn't say fresh I wouldn't say old.... Steak- dry as the Sahara desert, seasoned ok but seems like it was cooked no one used it so they recooked it... Cheese- it was ok standard American melted pretty decent Onion- couldn't taste em, didn't have any texture wouldn't even know they were there It's a chain spot so I knew what that meant as far as portions so I got double meat and double cheese for us both...got Celina the standard... Now the sandwich size itself...a "regular" is 6 inches and a "giant" is about 10inches??? And for the price? Especially price vs quality? I'd never go there again on that principle alone....a pizza shop or sub spot is gonna give you double the size and much better quality for the price ($47) 3.2/10 -dry meat that wasn't helped by the extra cheese or the ketchup I put on to try and help it afterwards. Absolutely horrible experience at Jersey Mike's Christiana. Not sure what everyone raves about this place. I received a sandwich (small #9) with raw bacon. Not undercooked, absolutely RAW, all of it. See attached photos. I called the store to speak to the manager and a snotty girl answered and put "Maria" on the phone as the store manager. After she listened to my issue, and the fact I had to throw out the contaminated sandwich in fear of getting sick, she hung on the phone on me. I called back and the line was busy. I called a bit later and Leiya Wharton answered saying Maria didn't hang up on me, and that she would take care of my issue since she was the general manager. She started in arguing with me that their good is "fresh" and I take pride in my store. I said the food you served me is RAW I'm going to send you photos, be honest with me if you think I'm mistaken. If I was an elderly person, or anyone for that matter, raw bacon could make me very sick. She kept saying "I'm not sure what transpired" which I told her want the correct vocabulary. This is when I realized fir sure, she wasn't the GM (which I knew from the beginning), that she was lying, and trying to sound professional, but it wasn't working. After he saying she'd be honest about what she sees in the photos, she doesn't lie, I thought...you have lied since you got on the phone with me. She kept saying she would give me a free meal and she'll take care of it, I don't have the corporate number on my person, I'll take care of it. Again, weird verbage. She also asked that I not post anything online that she takes pride in her store. The store you are lying about being the general manager of? How would your real GM feel about this lie? I sent the photos of the raw bacon and she first tried to say they must have been stuck under the other bacon and didn't cook. I said, I can see that being the case with ONE piece of RAW BACON, but all 4-5 pieces where completely RAW. She ran out of excuses and said, you are right, they are raw. She offered the free large sandwich, which I wouldn't eat at a Jersey Mike's again if someone paid me to, she then offered the corporate number and "couldn't find it". How convenient. I would not be this upset if she owned up to the problem, refunded me in full, and agree to fix the problem. Instead, Leiya Wharton, if that's even her real name, lied to me to avoid taking responsibility for her stores major fail. I doubt she's even a supervisor at this point. I'm contacting who I think is the real general manager Zach Pancake , at the Christiana Jersey Mike's location to let him know what is happening at his store. He should be aware. If anyone else has a problem with this store, please post it. They won't fix the problems if they have liars trying to cover up the problems instead of being adults and fixing the issues. This jersey mikes misses the marked. The gentleman who I assume was the manager seemed to be very frustrated as he was basically moving the line along himself. The young lady putting together the sandwiches was slow and was not using her big girl voice at all. The girl behind the register was young and seemed confused. So as I write this I can imagine his frustration. My husband and I were starving so this was fine, but not my best jersey mikes experience. My sandwich was ok , not as fresh as I am use to even my chips tasted off. However regardless of any frustration the service was friendly. read more

We Love, Love, Love, Jersey Mike's Sub's. We stopped at this location on our way home from a family trip. The staff was friendly, attentive and made us feel like they wanted us there. Our go to Sandwich is a Giant #13. This was undoubtedly one of the best Giant #13 we ever had from all the Jersey Mike's we have been at. The sandwich was full of meat and cheese, with just the right amount of condiments and was seasoned properly with the extra vinegar taking this sandwich from great to awesome. Oh any Veterans they have military discount there. When we sat in our car to eat my wife showed me her cheesesteak sandwich, it looked like the gold doors opened and a bright light came out and the angels were singing, I mean this sandwich looked BEAUTIFUL! and my wife eat it and it tasted even better, a work of art. So my wife went back in to compliment the cook by the way her name is Sara, and she told my wife that she was a chef but lost her job because of covid 19. SUPERB! I'm a reward customer, I visited the Jersey Mike's store 35004 on 12/29/23 to purchase #8 Club. The employee that made my Sub added two slices of bacon from a pile of bacon, I asked could he add another slice he stated he had to ask his Manager. The Manager said only two and the restaurant was closing in 15 minutes. I said all that bacon with be on tomorrow orders and he said no it gets thrown out. I had only been to Jersey mikes once before and ordered the regular Italian. It was good but nothing special. However on Friday I decided to give their cheesesteak a try. I ordered the regular size and I was blown away. My usual go to places for cheesesteaks are Claymont steak shop or Iannoni's. I wasn't expecting much since this is a chain restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised. The amount of meat on the sandwich was great for the $9.95 price. When the amount of meat is so much that the roll can't contain it all you know it's a good sandwich. Steak was juicy (running down my hand) and flavorful. It's been a nightmare, not sure if it was expired bread, meat, veggies, my husband is been in the bathroom an hour after he ate a Philly cheesesteak, he is very skinny and throwing up and diarrhea it's not a good thing for him; he is been shaking, cold hands and his stomach it's irritated, our neighbor is a Bayhealth provider and checked him completely and agrees that his problems radiated on the sandwich he ate. read more

i went yesterday about 1pm, lunch time. not a single customer in the place, and stuffy to breath w no air conditioning on a very warm day. my first time there since moving locally. no attendant was in sight, so i thought perhaps the place was closed? then i couldnt help but notice that the cutting boards/counters were covered with strewn pieces of vegies, land meat scraps w the meat slicer the same. it seemed unsanitary. finally a gentleman came out from the back wearing soiled garments and an angry/frustrated face. he proceeded to just stare at me without even a hello. i politaly said to him that it was my first visit just checking the restaurant out but that i wouldn't be ordering today. i walked out feeling relieved that i made a smart decision to not eat there. read more

Same fresh food and nice staff as one of their other stores not quite as fast as the other store I visited but place was immaculate and conveniently located next to Starbucks. We love the oil vinegar mixture on the Italian. They were running some special on subs since they just opened and we were happy to find out we got our meals for like 2 bucks!!!! I made my order using the app. I arrived when they said it would be ready. Waited there for 15 more minutes while they waited on one customer. When they addressed me I found out that my steak sandwich wasn't even started yet. I asked them to add lettuce and tomato since it wasn't made but when I got home it was not on there. Fresh Bread and meat. Perfect combo. Always fresh and tasty. My Fav is the cheesesteak subs. The Big Kahuna which basically has jalapeños and more cheese. I usually get hot pepper relish spread on it. I add extra meat sometimes if extra hungry. Subs here are always fresh unlike most places around that use blocks of old frozen meats. read more

Ordered a few times, never had an issue. I prefer the taste of this bread and the freshness to a Wawa sub any day. I like the Oil/Vinegar, etc. I wish there were more of them around to be honest. However today we ordered via DoorDash (3 rd party ordering site) and when our order arrived only 1/4 of our order had arrived. When we called the store to ask if we could get a refund, they instructed us to call back later as they're too busy to issue a refund. We went to the store to pick up the rest of our order. When speaking to the manager on duty, he said "that's what happens when you order with DoorDash." Wow! I went to Jersey Mike's for the first time today. I must say that it is my new go to sub and cheesesteak joint. They did everything right. I was here today (Saturday rush) and I really want to thank Sarah and Shannon for their exceptional customer service. I work customer service but on the phones. I know that these two teammates could easily work anywhere with their support and expertise. Basically, I placed an online order to save some time during my lunch shift but I didn't double-check the location address & placed it for the S. College Ave location. Unknowingly, I arrived at the Fashion Center location & Sarah was able to troubleshoot my problem that I chose the wrong place. They immediately started making my order at Fashion Center and instructed the S. College to manage my order accordingly. They use gloves to make your sandwiches but the guy who made mine had his on when I walked in and he was in the lobby. He walked behind the counter, using his gloved hands to touch all surfaces and wiped his shirt and adjusted his clothes all with the gloves he then used to make my food.
