    Basset hound

GF is a big fan of this place so wanted to bring me while we were visiting her hometown. Have you ever been hungry but like, not hungry? That was how I was feeling on that particular day so I wanted to compromise on something but nothing too crazy. I considered their salads (there's a beet one with curry vinaigrette which sounds amazing) but I was more in the mood for a sandwich. They kindly group the vegetarian sandwiches together which minimizes the required eye movements. There were two that intrigued me but I wanted to maximize the veg intake during this meal so I went with the cocker spaniel (avocado, cucumber, tomato, spinach, veggie cream cheese). It was served on rye bread. The thing was stuffed with veggies as you can probably imagine from the above description. The size of the sandwich was some goldilocks shit. It was literally perfect. It wasn't too much but definitely was enough for my needs. GF ordered the basset hound (roasted portobello mushrooms, swiss, arugula, roasted, garlic, mayo) and seemed to enjoy it. I do not see any vegan sandwiches which is a bummer. Good sandwich, good experience, no complaints here.

Mushrooms, roasted red pepper, fresh mozzarella cheese, and pesto panini. Delicious!!

Delicious panini sandwiches, staff is great and helped me to customize my sandwich. I modified the "Basset Hound" panini sandwich, and crafted a hearty veggie sandwich with roasted mushrooms, red peppers, arugula, mozzarella cheese, and pesto stuffed between grilled multigrain bread. The panini sandwich was satisfying and filling. As a bonus, you get a free side of potato salad, cole slaw, fresh fruit and chips. Glad I got the kettle chips! The staff was really patient. After driving 1.5 hours from PA to VA on our way home, I stopped to grab some food here. I was beyond exhausted traveling with my kids and had a hard time comprehending a long list of menu items. The staff patiently waited while I figured out what I wanted and allowed me to modify some of the ingredients from another sandwich so I could craft my own (which typically isn't an option). Will definitely visit the same or another location when I'm in the area! Great sandwich and service!

I took myself to PureBread for a Veteran's Day treat. It was just like I imagined, a nice place to eat/drink quality stuff while you work on your laptop or chat politely with someone. I went there for a breakfast sandwich to go. The nice high energy young man behind the counter talked me into a toasted and butter Banana Walnut muffin. I am glad he did. My bacon egg and cheese on a bagel was very tasty but more expensive than i like. The muffin was fantabulous!! Gotta splurge somewhere!!

Local deli with options for breakfast and lunch. I opted for the new Newfoundland which had Turkey, pepper Jack on a grilled cheddar bread. The sandwiches are all named after different dog breads. All of the full size sandwiches are served with kettle potato chips. There was plenty of room to sit and eat at this location. Definitely a place to check out.

This little place is adorable!!! The name says it all! There are doggie pictures everywhere and cute pup videos to watch while you wait for your food! I got a corn muffin with the option to add butter and grill it (yes to both)! The chicken noddle soup was hearty and tender! Such a great place to grab a bit to eat! There was lots of swag available and free rescue magnets available!

My to go breakfast spot in Newark. Love the environment especially all the cute puppies on the monitors. The sandwich are amazinggggg, highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Sandwich on a Asiago Bagel. The Muffins are so fresh, you can smell the aroma righty as you walk in which makes you that much happier and hungrier. The staff is amazing and they're personalities and service is beyond the best. Love this place. Recommendations- muffins, lobster bisque, take some time to watch the cute videos of puppies on the monitors

I have had the opportunity to come here for lunch a few times and can honestly say I like the low key vibe. You can sit yourself at a booth in back and watch tv or sit at a high top table up front next to the big floor to ceiling windows. You can get all the standard coffee shop/deli options. The sandwich variety is very good. The dog connection is lost on me though. I really liked the bread on my sandwich however I wish there was a seedless rye option. (Perhaps there is and I simply over looked it) And any sandwich can be made into a panini which they do very well. All said, I believe Purebread definitely gives Panera a solid run for their money. The brisket brought a no-holds-barred assault on my taste buds--in the best possible way. It was smoky, tender, juicy, and piled high on the bun. The beans were rich and packed with chunks of brisket, making them much more than just a side. If this was my first visit, it definitely won't be my last. Hospitality was every bit as impressive as the barbecue. Once they learned it was my first visit, they welcomed me with a return-visit card and a few complimentary treats. Little touches like that go a long way.

Not only is this one of the best chain BBQ restaurants I have eaten at but it is one of the better BBQ restaurants including non-chain I have eaten. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very attentive. The decor was a nice tribute to our military and first responders. I had a 3 meat sampler with beans and Mac & Cheese. The turkey was super moist and tender. The pulled pork was tender with a great smoke flavor and was possibly the second best I have ever had closely behind my brother's homemade. The sausage was a jalapeño cheddar which had good flavor but was a little greasy. Both sides were top notch with a creamy mac&cheese and nice Smokey baked beans. The cornbread was just okay as it was a little dry. If not for the greasy sausage and dry cornbread this is a 5 star meal. They also have a good variety of different sauces to try. This is one chain BBQ that I would definitely keep in mind in the future.

I ordered three pizzas: Upside down, White & Pepperoni. Ordered three sandwiches: One chicken steak, two beef steak. Wings: two orders. For starters we loved the wings - crispy and meaty and not at all greasy. The pizzas were also a hit. The thin crispy crust was great and cooked just right. All of them were delicious but our favorite was the pepperoni. The cheesesteaks - wow!! Seriously the BEST cheesesteaks in town. You can taste the cheese in every single bite. The sandwiches were loaded with chicken or beef and the seeded roll was fresh. The only thing that could have been better? The pizza temperature. Oddly, when we arrived home (about 10 minutes later), the pizzas weren't hot? The wings and the cheesesteaks were both perfect. Ordering and pick up was a breeze. The staff were friendly and the food was very good. Our only regret is that we haven't tried this place sooner! We will definitely be back. Hopefully the pizza will be hot.

Place was pretty cool inside, old school vibes with the flooring, wall posters, and even video games. Had to wait about twenty minutes for a table for three, not a big deal, as it was a Friday night and somewhat expected. Prices were a little high, but not crazy. Service was good, food came out fairly quickly. Ordered a couple of pizzas, steak sandwich and fries. Round pizza was decent. Detroit was underwhelming, and was really hard to eat. It was very difficult to get off of the screen, very sloppy, not a lot of crisp-was really hoping for a better pie. Steak sandwich was fine-roll was decent, meat was seasoned, but didn't really set itself apart. I will say the bar area had a really good vibe, and I could maybe see myself returning for a couple of drinks and maybe some apps. Wish I could give a three and a half, but unfortunately it didn't really earn a four for me.
