Rather than feeling welcome or valued as a customer (I was literally the only customer), I felt like I had interrupted their evening somehow. To be fair, this was my first visit to this location, but I'm not sure if I'll be back. There are other halal and Middle Eastern businesses in El Paso that actually demonstrate the kind of hospitality I've always associated with my Lebanese, Syrian, Eqyptian, Yemeni, and Saudi friends. Went through the drive-through today took forever to get two sandwiches after being adamant and letting the employees know that my child is allergic to vinegar I asked for no vinegar on her sandwich. Specifically, my child then goes to bite into her sandwich upon getting home and there was an explosive amount of vinegar and seasonings on her sandwich, it would be lovely to find out where one can send a lawsuit since my child is in the hospital now because of lack of care how unbelievable. Upon driving out of the drive-through, there was trash left behind the store look like a wreck show. Called 3 times and not a single answer. read more

Was in line for a while. Sandwiches were packaged wrong. Sandwiches had no flavor except lettuce. Hint way too much lettuce. For $2.00 more you get 2/3 of the sandwich you would get at Jimmy John's. Sure the bread if fabulous but the rest of the sandwich isn't worth the price. I'm sticking with Jimmy John's much more flavor better overall tasting Sandwich. Completely overrated and highly over priced. Not worth the trip out there. Won't be making that trip again. Customer service is highly lacking, not one employee that I could see had a smile on their face, ambiance didn't and won't go inside so can't say. read more

We had actually tried out a new place, and were gravely disappointed. Two words, "fake" "meat". So, yeah, with the nastiness of the previous place leaving us yearning for a good burger (other than those from home!), we were in the area after a long day of sports nearby, and decided to grab a couple of burgers. Again, it's not fast food. There were some disappointments, but not deal breakers... 1) The burger patty on my burger was about 2" x 3" It was pretty d TINY!! But...at least it was real meat, lol!! And THAT is what we went there for. The bun? These are homemade and usually very good. The top bun on my burger was hard as a rock. It was either stale to begin with, or microwaved after it was toasted. Not too much of a deal cus I'm low carb anyway, though I had planned on breaking my diet for what I already knew would be a tasty house made bun. So, I wasn't too put off, by having an inedible bun. As it was, the under bun was perfect, and toasted with garlic.... and I DID break my diet for this, which I ate by itself. This bread is tdf! So there's that! Since I planned on breaking my diet anyway, I went ahead and order fries. The fries were not greasy like they used to be years ago. But they didn't seem fresh either, like they were years ago. Not soggy, not bad. I'll let it pass. We don't like seasonings on our fries so we got them "naked", and they were actually pretty good that way. No salt, nothing (though I did, later on pour on some gooey cheese for some nice cheese fries). The burger itself was good. I got the mushroom swiss burger. I'm not so sure that the white goo on my burger was swiss though. I've never seen swiss melt into almost nothing like that before. Perhaps it was grated? Still, never seen gooey almost liquid swiss before. I think it was either "swiss cheese product" (white american cheese), or provolone or something. Would have been nice, like tdf if it had been real swiss cheese. The grilled onions, fresh meat, fresh bottom bun (lol) made this burger. Also, again, I appreciate that they put garnishments on the side. I just ate them straight up, including the giant leaf of lettuce. A good overall meal. So even if Voodoo disappoints in some areas, there's always a treasure somewhere, and it was an enjoyable meal. Take away from this... wish the buns weren't stale or microwaved. Wish the burger patty was a decent size, not slider sized. Wish the swiss cheese was real swiss cheese. Not even gonna say I wish prices were lower, that's a given. My burger with fries was over $15.

They are still operating out of their food truck, at this time, because their gas and air conditioning has not been hooked up yet. There are four or five tables under the canopy for seating. The operators of their establishment are super friendly. My wife had the Cali Smash Burger (with cheese, tomato, pickle and sauce). and I had the Cali Animal loaded French fries (topped with cheese, grilled onions, chopped burger and hot dog).
