I ordered two giant sandwiches. #7 "Mike's way" It was bland. Very little oil and vinegar. It was missing onions and pickles. Who knows why? The next sandwich was #8 Sub club just may and lettuce only which was fine but, it was missing the best part the applewood bacon. Someone's not paying attention while making the sandwiches. I still paid top price with the missing ingredients and I surely didn't want to come back to get it right. That is upsetting. read more

We had eaten at their location in Los Lunas, NM several times on our way to Rio Rancho. My wife and I got excited when they opened their store her in Las Cruces. I am vegetarian so I used order their Portobello hot sub. Unfortunately they discontinued it and their only option is a cold veggie sandwich. I was so happy when Jersey Mike's opened and loved it, immediately. Subway and Jimmy John's don't even come close to the quality at Jersey Mike's, but even more important, the staff is amazing! They are very friendly and attentive. We know sometimes it can be crowded and the service a little slow, but the crew works to give each customer the highest quality sandwich. I've been here a few times since they opened and the wait times have gotten progressively longer. Today I was stuck in the drive thru line for almost an hour. No sandwich is worth that wait. The cold sandwiches are heavily coated in oil and vinegar so be prepared for a damp sandwich. If that's not your style, just ask them to go light and they'll help you out. The hot sandwiches take a lot longer to prepare because everything is grilled fresh. The employees are overwhelmed but the dichotomy in their attitudes is interesting - half of them are trying their best and doing what they can under stressful circumstances while the other half are standing around whining to each other about how many hours they've worked. I might come back in a couple of months when things (hopefully) stabilize. read more

From previous reviewers, about a week has passed and the opening kinks seem to have been resolved. We were there at about 11:30 am, only 4 people waiting. Our order was taken in a timely manner, sliced and prepared right before our eyes. Efficient and professional, the staff seemed eager to please. Sandwich was delicious - I had the #8 mini and my hubs had original Italian regular. Both were Mike's way - and were excellent. Seating indoors and outdoors is somewhat limited, so plan accordingly. Jersey Mike's serves up one of the better Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches. I tried their Chipotle Cheese Steak giant for around $19.00. It was not really spicy but it had a lot of meat fresh off the grill. Dining in is not a great option. Get it to go. You can only play the "we're new" excuse for a short period of time. Today the bread and bacon were overcooked. The bacon was in a pile and not appetizing at all. This is my second time here and realizing it's small and crowded. Definitely a take out not a dine in experience. read more

I'll give it 2 stars because the Vickie's spicy dill pickle potato chips were pretty good. The sandwich was okay, but WAY overpriced for what you get. I really don't understand what all the hype is about. I won't be going back. Jimmy John's is a little cheaper and a heck of a lot better. First time at this Jersey Mikes location and we had the BEST sandwich we've ever had. The bread, meat, lettuce, and tomatoes were stand outs because they were so fresh, bright, and absolutely delicious. It was busy when we went, but the entire team was upbeat and got our sandwich out so quick! Tera was slicing all the meat and cheese by hand as we ordered, and she was so kind to us. I ordered two sandwiches for pick up through the app on this past Friday, I went into the store. There were people everywhere, not much organization at all. I waited in line for 30 minutes... Bad service! I ordered my food 40 minutes ahead of time. I waited in the drive through line for 30 minutes. When I finally got to the window, my order wasn't ready and incomplete. While waiting at the window for another 15 minutes, I observed nothing but teenagers working. They were horsing around, kicking one another, and helping themselves to several coke refills. We always order ahead of time knowing how busy they are and never have gone through the drive through knowing it easier and quicker just to go in the door. Since it is a new location and the only one in Las Cruces, it will be packed for a while until the hype dies down. Also recommend ordering in person instead of online.
