I'm done with Jimmy John's. I haven't been to one of these places in over a year and after today it's on my list of establishments to avoid. I pull in and order the new Ham & Three Cheese melt. I also wanted a BLT as a little John but the menu had changed and they don't offer the BLT as a little john anymore. I got a roast beef instead. The total was a little over $16 with tax. When I unwrapped the ham sandwich I noticed that there was no provolone cheese and only a sprinkle of cheddar cheese in the middle. I think there was some parmesan cheese if that's what the little white blobs were. The pictures on the menu board and the website show a sandwich overflowing with cheese but of course advertising is often misleading so I was essentially served an overpriced Plain Slim #1. I seldom go for a sandwich because my wife avoids bread. I was out with a friend so I chose to go to Jimmy John's. I don't eat meat so I ordered The Veggie, 8-inch combo, with includes a fountain drink and a bag of chips or a cookie for under $10! Don't be cowards and hide from customers. If you're closed say so (posted hours say otherwise) We pulled into the drive-through and were never greeted or acknowledged, even after waiting and speaking up. This was frustrating and unprofessional, and it made us feel completely ignored as customers. We expect basic communication and courtesy when using your drive-through. read more

You have to choose- you can have a pickle a bag of chips or a cookie. Lunch used to come with all that. The sandwiches looked good but lacked flavor. Not enough mayonnaise? No salt pepper or oil? Freaky fast, my butt. I placed an online order with my app. Works really well at other locations. Before I arrived, I received a notification that they had received my order. When I arrived, only one person paid any attention to me, an employee working in the beverage area. She asked if I had an online order, I said yes, told others I was waiting. Having your driver pull a gun on me and my spouse after pulling out in front of us causing us to slam the brakes and slide to a stop (which the manager said they fired him for) and then pulled out in front of us causing the same situation AGAIN about a month later STILL WORKING FOR JIMMY JOHNS. I give you guys a second chance at business and I ask for no Cucumbers due to an Allergy and make it VERY VERY clear and what happens? I bite into the sandwich and find... cucumbers. The guys working didn't seem like they wanted to have people in the drive thru and even made heavy "sighs" as I ordered my food. I'm disappointed. Here's what a cucumber allergy does for someone in my situation: Swelling or hives around your mouth, throat and tongue commonly occur with oral allergy syndrome. You may also experience itchy skin. I'm headed home to take the rest of the day off now that I need to see if I'm going to have to head to the ER if my throat keeps swelling. If you even respond with "We are sorry for your experience, that's not how we roll" like all the other reviews I'm going to flip. My dad and I go to this location quite often only because it is super close to our apartment. Every time we walk in it is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I almost always get the number 5 which is the Vito and I get it without cheese and I add more fixings on it. They always have fresh ingredients and always get my order right. I know this might just be a sandwich place but the friendly staff and cleanliness makes it so much more. I really enjoy this location and will continue to come back or even order through delivery which is a little more convenient for me since I don't drive. I order (make that ORDERED) from JJ's 1-2 x's a week. Recently, I fell hard for their Kickin' Ranch dressing. Since JJ's doesn't offer Salads, I order the Unwich and dress it like a salad with their delicious Kickin' Ranch. Unfortunately, you can only order ONE dressing on the individual sandwich page and then have to go to the A La Carte menu if you want more than one, which I did. Apparently it didn't 'lock in' because when the driver arrived, he had a dressing in his hand and explained "My Manager told me you weren't charged for the 2nd one so if you have $0.50 you can have this". I laughed out loud! Was he serious? He wasn't laughing so I guess he was. I had $0.35 in change & $100 bill. Driver couldn't break the $100 so no extra delicious Kickin' Ranch for me. Is this really how they treat their loyal Regulars? All over $0.50? I am a business owner myself & I would NEVER squabble over $0.50 & risk losing a VALUED Customer. I suggest the Owner pay for Customer Service training for their Management Team. They NEED it! The smokn kickn chicken sandwich is crap. The chicken is mashed up meat paste with no flavor. It is a sickly pale color that looks like a grosser version of their tuna salad. The guy who made my sandwich drowned it in oil so it is a greasy mess. I looked on the website and the creole pepper sauce is a separate sauce and not a flavoring that is infused in the chicken. The picture clearly shows an orange color sauce which did not come on my sandwich. The subtext on the picture also says the chicken is "not all natural". Great. Jimmy John's is sooooo totes my fave sandwich chain, and while I was okay just being jealous of Las Cruces for having one, now that there's a new one, my El Paso residing heart is filled with resentful envy, IT'S JUST NOT FAIR! I love the JJ Gargantuan sub with hot peppers, it is a massive and intensely meaty sandwich, definitely not for the faint of heart! I guess I'm kind of lucky that I can't have it all the time... This location is bigger than the one at University and has a drive thru, but still offers the same fast, yummy subs. read more

Iced tea... shouldn't be that difficult to make correctly. However, the tea at this location (both sweet and unsweet) was so weak it had no flavor. Both of the tea containers had the weak tea, unfortunately, which can only mean no one really understands how it should be made. Not one of the 5 employees offered to remake tea while I was there, nor made any effort to provide any kind of customer service to make up for the bad product. What's going on??!!! I was yearning an Italian sub for lunch and no one else had what I was looking for, so we decided to give Jimmy John's a try. My wife had the turkey sub and I had the giant club version of the Italian sub (double meat and cheese). It measured up to my expectations. I'm accustomed to real Italian subs from NYC and Providence, RI. These aren't authentic or even close. The bread is mediocre white without a good crust. The meats are grocery store fare. Worst experience ever. Staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Went on the 1$ sub day. My wife arrived literally 1 minute before me and had to order in line. The employee said that I could ad. My order as soon as I got to the counter. I got in line well before I got to the register and when we went up to give my wife's order and place mine the guy at the register said we couldn't because I didn't order it in the back of the line.
