A little disappointing here and there, but still feel that these burgers are worth it,... once in a great while. Seems like we end up going here once a year. We had actually tried out a new place, and were gravely disappointed. Two words, "fake" "meat". So, yeah, with the nastiness of the previous place leaving us yearning for a good burger (other than those from home!), we were in the area after a long day of sports nearby, and decided to grab a couple of burgers. Again, it's not fast food. There were some disappointments, but not deal breakers... 1) The burger patty on my burger was about 2" x 3" It was pretty d TINY!! But...at least it was real meat, lol!! And THAT is what we went there for. The bun? These are homemade and usually very good. The top bun on my burger was hard as a rock. It was either stale to begin with, or microwaved after it was toasted. Not too much of a deal cus I'm low carb anyway, though I had planned on breaking my diet for what I already knew would be a tasty house made bun. So, I wasn't too put off, by having an inedible bun. As it was, the under bun was perfect, and toasted with garlic.... and I DID break my diet for this, which I ate by itself. This bread is tdf! So there's that! Since I planned on breaking my diet anyway, I went ahead and order fries. The fries were not greasy like they used to be years ago. But they didn't seem fresh either, like they were years ago. Not soggy, not bad. I'll let it pass. We don't like seasonings on our fries so we got them "naked", and they were actually pretty good that way. No salt, nothing (though I did, later on pour on some gooey cheese for some nice cheese fries). The burger itself was good. I got the mushroom swiss burger. I'm not so sure that the white goo on my burger was swiss though. I've never seen swiss melt into almost nothing like that before. Perhaps it was grated? Still, never seen gooey almost liquid swiss before. I think it was either "swiss cheese product" (white american cheese), or provolone or something. Would have been nice, like tdf if it had been real swiss cheese. The grilled onions, fresh meat, fresh bottom bun (lol) made this burger. Also, again, I appreciate that they put garnishments on the side. I just ate them straight up, including the giant leaf of lettuce. A good overall meal. So even if Voodoo disappoints in some areas, there's always a treasure somewhere, and it was an enjoyable meal. Take away from this... wish the buns weren't stale or microwaved. Wish the burger patty was a decent size, not slider sized. Wish the swiss cheese was real swiss cheese. Not even gonna say I wish prices were lower, that's a given. My burger with fries was over $15. read more

First time there, yummy burgers. They offer GLUTEN FREE and VEGETARIAN buns, my daughter can't do gluten so it was really great to find that out! Check the other reviews, they speak the truth. This was my first time ordering from thus Voodo Burger, I Ordered 4 items and specifically ask for 3 Unseasoned hamburger meat patties, and they totally ignored my online special request and sent me a kid's meal with a pattie, big as my eyeball, and a burger and fries, and loaded tater tots, with a cup of green chili, the best thing out of the whole $55.00 online order was the darn fries, what a waste of time and money, the 3 patties were for my dog, this was our first and last time ordering from Voodo Burgers! Fantastic burgers and voodoo sauce is a must have. The buns are all homemade and are buttery and perfect texture. Burger has a great crust with good flavor throughout. Fries are well seasoned and then add the voodoo sauce that is both cool and creamy with a great heat on the back end. read more

I was on a road trip heading back home when we found this place on yelp. Wow the reviews were right! Awesome burgers. we had voodoo burgers. It's a smash type burger on a pillow soft slightly sweet bun ( possibly made in house) with hatch green chilis and this slightly spicy voodoo sauce. It was amazing! Awesome flavor! Came with a side of fry's. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service is great. The place is clean. Ask about the voodoo burger challenge.burger with 5, 1/2 pound patties, cheese and 2 pounds of fry's. We watched someone attempting to eat it while we're were there! My wife and I love the is place, it's been always really good, but this day we were a little rushed since we had a time crunch for lunch, we've been coming here often and had never really had any issues besides the fact that they usually take a while to make your food, so if you're in a rush order ahead, today it was busier than the usual and we were warned about the delay, we understood and accepted the fact that our food would take 45 min approximately to be made. That was not the main issue, the main issue was that we ordered monster burgers (they're not in any online menu to verify what they contain) but it was supposed to be 3 patties, with cheese and chipotle sauce, again... I might be wrong and these were actually the monster burgers although I'm pretty sure they got our order wrong since everything in our bags was mixed and matched incorrectly. I am very disappointed today, long wait to receive what is 3 slices of turkey ham and a piece of yellow cheese, something my 7 year old niece could make herself. However it was colder then cold can be in this restaurant for today. Everyone around me had long sleeve shirts or even a sweater. (I was in a normal T-shirt shivering) even the waitress was wearing a sweater over her shirt. I was never happier to walk outside and warm up. I was hoping that this would be a great burger place with great different burger selections, however it's pretty basic burgers. Over all it's not bad, I will give them more time and try again another time to make more of a informed decision. Jake is a great restauranteur, and his food is always good. Green chile and Voodoo Sauce is a bit spicy for me, but the burgers are great-nice, crispy edges and wonderfully soft buns. Staff is always nice, but it's a small joint and can fill up quick for lunch. Get there early to ensure a seat! Also: pickles at salad bar are awesome! read more
