I went here for dinner when the trains at union had a delay. The list of sub sandwiches is numerous. I went with the recommended sandwich, the cold cut. The service was so quick and you get to add numerous veggies and sauce for free to your sub. The pricing seemed to be comparable to other sub shops. The staff were kind and patient as it was my first time there. There was no seating in the restaurant itself but it's the perfect to go shop. If I'm in a pinch, this is a great option for a quick meal! read more

I went to Jersey Mike's Sub with my brother. I ordered the club supreme sandwich. The sandwiches were pretty good, but nothing special for the price we paid. The service were okay, but the counter people were very pushy. Would we go back? I doubt it since there are so many great options at Union Station. read more

Obviously I'd been eager to sample Jersey Mike's ever since they opened at Union Station, but literally every time I walked by the place was packed. On my most recent visit, however, the place was relatively empty, so I leapt at the chance to finally try their wares. After a quick perusal of their menu, I opted for The Number Four ("Provolone; prosciuttini and cappacuolo"), and I asked for it with all the fixins. It's a terrific sandwich. I was expecting something fine along the lines of Subway, but this was actually way above average. The fresh bread was the perfect vehicle for a bunch of perfectly-proportioned components, and that Red Wine Vinegar sauce ties the whole thing together super well. Yeah, I'll be returning to Jersey Mike's in the future. I'm especially curious about their various cheesesteaks. read more

I ordered the giant cheesesteak sandwich incredibly expensive but there was a massive line, and the sandwich was really hot, it lets in your mouth, the steak was cooked perfectly I never tasted a Philadelphia steak sandwich but I'm sure this is pretty close to it. I waited for some time but they reassured me they are on it and gave me my order, service is okay, I understand it's not gonna be the best to standard because they have a massive line, overall I would say out of all the fast food subs this is the best ever. read more

Jersey Mike just opened at union station. There were so many hypes about this restaurant that I wanted to check it out. I went around 11am when it just opened and there was a small line already. I downloaded the app and created my account to get points and birthday coupon. While in line the staff ask for my name and order. It was a quick wait, if you order cold cuts then it takes slightly longer. I didn't have to wait too long. I ordered #66 the portabella cheese steak. I got regular size, and it was filling for me. They placed a good amount of steak and I enjoyed it. Service is also pretty good, staff is friendly. Ambiance wise, it's just a normal takeout spot. This location is at the union food hub, and you can see the staff prepare everything in front of you. We were at Union Station and stumbled upon a sub shop we'd never seen before! On our way to a hockey game, I did some research and found out it's a US-based company. We ordered subs made with freshly sliced meats, and they were amazing! The taste was even better than Subway! The restaurant was clean, and the service was great. This location at Union Station (market side) has only been open a few days. Already busy & buzzing of course. I recommend ordering ahead on their app to avoid the long line for ordering at the counter. Using the app, I ordered: 3 The American Classic which has ham & provolone (comes with: White or Wheat Bread, Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Red Wine Vinegar, Olive Oil Blend, Oregano, Salt). I added mayo, mustard & dill pickle. I waited until the pick up specified before I approached the counter, but I probably should have asked when I arrived since my order was already bagged and waiting. The sub was pretty much perfect. I cannot find one thing to say for improvement. Fresh tasting. Not soggy. Good vinegar & seasoning on it. This is my first time trying it so I don't know about other flavour combos or recommendations or secrets. I'll need to read up on what Jersey Mike veterans get. I like the old school subs with fresh ingredients. I could always find a small mom & pop type sub shop in Hamilton. While I know Jersey Mike's is a chain, the flavour and quality reminds me of those 'back in the day' sub shops I used to go to as a kid. Now if only the prices would match, haha. It was very busy but everything was moving along and seemed calm. Bright & cheerful! Good vibes. If you sign up on the website you can get a $1 off the sub but it's good for in-person (valid for 12 days) I skipped using it since I didn't want to wait in the long line. On a $10 sub, a dollar off doesn't cover a pop to go with it but I guess it's better than nothing! I will definitely be back. read more

i had wanted to check Jersey Mike's out because I had heard a number of great things about them. I had the giant chipotle chicken steak sub with a cookie and a drink. The bread was fantastically soft and chewy and there was a lot of cheese on the sub . the cookie and drink were totally fine. This is a small location inside of Union Station and there wasn't much ambience about the place. The service was definitely lacking as they did not have a list of their cold subs and I had to repeat my order about 4 times for them to get it. I felt rushed through the entire process and did not get to enjoy the entire Jersey mikes experience even though it was before 11 am and not overly busy. I could not understand what the cashiers were trying to tell me, as i was waiting for my sub. The food is quite good but Jersey Mikes needs more work with their staff. read more

Was in the area and wanted to try this chain as I read lots of social media posts. I had the plain turkey and provolone. When I was ordering I was never asked what bread I wanted (I wanted the parm but was given the plain old white bread) or if I wanted it toasted (if they even offer that option). The regular size is equivalent to a six inch from other sub places. Lettuce, tomato, protein, cheese was fairly generous. Unfortunately the bread tasted like day old - tough and chewy. All in all if you opt for one of their subs get the one loaded with meats. Otherwise it's just 'meh' for a sub. read more

I thought Jersey Mike's at Union Station was a very good sub. It was extremely busy when I got there (which is always a good sign). The employees were polite and in a good humour. They very quickly assembled the sub, and made sure to add everything I asked for, and the helpings were huge. Even though I ordered the full size, the mid-size would have been more appropriate. The sub tasted great. The only reason I gave it a four star rating rather than a five, is that it didn't taste extra ordinarily different than a Mr. Sub or a Subway sandwich. read more

I came here tonight on my birthday after a concert. I ordered the blt mini sandwich. I was excited since I saw the place on fuller house. So first which was understandable the person who took my order was the one to order it. I told the guy designing my sandwich it was my birthday. So he said they recommended the classic one, which is all I wanted. But he upsaled me, asking for toppings, which I didn't want. He put way too much mayo & pickles and and vinaigrette I'm like you put too much, he refused to do anything. It was so heavy and soggy making it difficult to eat, he told me I was paying for a mini combo and ended up charging $17.50, where it was listed for $10. I would've appreciated if I was told there was going to be all these hidden fees. I felt like I was over charged, I don't recommend going there, unless you wanna be ripped off or a soggy sandwich, now I am going to throw up that sandwich. I will never eat there again! read more
