I patronized this Jersey Mike's location to grab a sandwich and a sweet treat for lunch today. Here were my thoughts! Food: Regular #8 (Oh brother - what an excellent sandwich. I have yet to find a more delicious chain sandwich than this order right here. Jersey Mike's truly is A SUB ABOVE! Rating = 9.1/10). Brownie (For a pre-packaged brownie, I was pleasantly surprised with the moist texture and great flavor. Rating = 7.3/10). Service: I had one of the best customer service experiences in recent memory today. I was welcomed in with a smile when I stepped in the door, the order was quick and accurate, and the cashier carried an entire conversation with me as they were preparing my sandwich. Pure class! These are the little things that truly matter to me as a customer, and I knew immediately when I left the store that I would be leaving a 5-star review when I left the building. Hats off to the management, training personnel, and front line workers - your efforts are noticeable! Ambiance: While I did not stay in the store to eat my meal, the tables and floors looked clean and orderly. Your kids would choose Jersey Mikes over any other fast food option-- I'm not sure if that's a parenting win or just good taste? Maybe I'll consider it both ;) I've been ordering Jersey Mikes boxes for the past few years of Iowa Hawkeye tailgates and they are a fan favorite. (Honestly, my only qualm is I wish they had an option to cut them in half? As a half sandwich at a time for a tailgate is far easier to do. ) We were in NL for a basketball tournament and needed sustenance. My kids are obsessed, as I mentioned. And my better half is both a Danny DeVito and Italian sub fanatic. I ordered quick via the app-- it was ready for pickup in no time. We never ever have issues at this location with service. Also! Really solid place for fresh delicious sandwiches. We got the #13 The Original Italian and the #43 Chipotle Cheese Steak. It was perfect to share between two people and we each got to try a hot sandwich and a cold sandwich! Only con is they weren't cut in half in advance so we had to cut them ourselves. Super delicious though. Service was good and ambiance was chill. Would definitely recommend and come back for a quick to go bite! read more

I have been doing keto for a few months now, so it was hard for me to go back to Jersey Mike's since they are my favorite chain sandwich store in the area. I am glad I did, though, despite not being AS satisfying to me as bread, the subs in the tubs are REALLY good. They don't skip on toppings, and the lettuce was super fresh both times. Staff is always super friendly despite often being very busy, which is nice. I appreciate seeing staff that seem to be enjoying their work as it shows a good culture. Jersey Mike's will definitely be staying on my radar despite not being able to have their delicious bread. read more

We walked in and had no clue where to go to order... felt rushed with ordering... and then it took 10 -15 minutes to get our sandwiches. I got the toasted chicken Philly - enjoyed the option of a hot sandwich, but would have enjoyed being able to put further toppings on. The bread was dry (was not toasted) and overwhelmed the sandwich. My husband got the Italian and said it was "ok." I drove a nine-mile round trip for take-out of three subs to bring home to family. I ordered two beef and one chicken. I got home with the food and instead of chicken I got a third beef. I am sorry I was rude but I angrily called and talked with the manager on duty, Christopher, and he promised to refund my full cost of the whole order. Well, mistakes happen but when responsible for mistakes a business should make it up to the customer. This almost rates a five star but the workers were not paying attention so will give this a four star because the mistake was made but also corrected. I recommend their food and will go back because a flimsy "I'm sorry," was not attempted but a full offer to make a correction which counted. Go to them! That is the restaurant in Coralville, Iowa. If you are new to Jersey Mike's it is not the same as other sandwich chains, it is another level, A perfect ratio of meat to bread, more kinds of ham, prosciuttini, and cappacuolo, The magic combination of lettuce tomato onion oil vinegar salt pepper and oregano that somehow no other sandwich chain can quite get right. Am I biased? Did I grow up eating at the OG Jersey Mike's in Point Pleasant? Yes! Did I often eat these sandwiches at thee best beach in the world, or tailgating at Giants Stadium? Are my memories of this perfect oil and vinegar soaking through the bread inextricably linked with these memories? Yes. As fast food goes, pretty darn good. Maybe not as good as Panera, but pretty good. Like most similar restaurants menu is somewhat limited, most variation in the same basic ingredients.
