Was thick but smaller in diameter than I'm used to, especially for the price. The olive mix added the expected salty/tangy flavor, but the rest was a bit blander than I was expecting. Anthony's Italian Deli and Monjuni's both make a bigger, more flavorful version of this sandwich. The best part of the meal was the cannoli. DELICIOUS! Service was prompt and attentive without being too familiar and overly friendly. Ambiance was about what I expected from a small neighborhood establishment; kind of reminded me of an Italian "Cheers".

A friend suggested that I go to Firehouse as the Grinder was a copy cat of their sandwich. Lucky for me, there was one near by. I went on. Friday afternoon and they were rocking and rolling. There was a line of 5 ppl before me and all the tables were pretty much filled. The lady at the register was so inviting. She never made anyone feel rushed even the lady that shared it was her first time there. Little did she know it was mine too but I had did a lil research before I went.
