I order the build your own burger which there are a variety of topping to choose from which I like. I added 12 topping which you can see are not on my burger. One of the best burgers in town! Very moist and flavorful. I came during restaurant week, so we got a burger, fries and a soda for $12. It was a cheeseburger with bacon. The bacon was cooked perfectly, and the burger was a very good size. The fries were ok, I didnt like the coating them. I think they were Parmesan fries, but there was too much pepper on them for me. These were also a pretty good size. My friend got the onion rings, and even though I don't like onion rings, these were amazing and better than the fries. My wife, niece, and I recently dined at the BurgerSmith on Perkins and Acadian, and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing visit. The service was slow from the start, and it took quite a while before anyone even came to take our order. The food quality was overall very poor. My wife and I both ordered the filet burger, but the meat was incredibly dry. My niece ordered the BBQ burger, which had to be sent back to the kitchen immediately because they forgot the cheese. As for the sides, the sweet potato fries were just okay, but the regular cheese fries were completely tasteless and barely had any cheese on them. This is actually the second time I've had a bad meal here. The first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was a carryout order that we had to drive across town. After this dine-in experience, however, it's clear that the food quality is just lacking. Ironically, the best part of the entire $75 meal was the complimentary peppermints at the end because they were free. I went there for the last day of restaurant week and had their $12 meal. It came with a burger that has eggs, bacon, cheese, and meat patty. Butter garlic fries, and a drink. To start off the burger was amazing it was juicy tasty and I always love a runny egg on my burger. It is what you expect from a good burger place. The only thing I would wish for is that they preseason the patty because they give a big piece of meat for your burger and because it is so thick it is very seasoned on the inside. Now the fries were tasty the butter garlic was great and they give you a lot of fries not much to complain about besides it isn't crispy probably due to the butter garlic. Overall it is a great meal and it was given at a great price. The server was also very attentive and was always around and the place looked nice inside. It was definitely a place where you can sit and talk with your friends while watching a game and enjoying a good drink at the same time. I asked for a glass of water! the glass was filthy with particles floating around as I stirred my ice water with the straw. to add insult to injury. when I got the order my burger was soggy and wet cause they didnt drain the oil off after cooking it. my fries were burnt hard cold old and had enough salt to salt the sea! unsatisfactory at the highest level my burger literally seemed as though it was dropped in water that's how soggy it was. Stopped in after helping a buddy of mine move. Very nice layout of the place, we were seated quickly and the waiter was very efficient. Food came out in about 10 minutes and I couldn't have been more pleased. Just wish the bun was toasted a bit, because my bottom bun got a little soggy. But there are more options than just burgers! One should not forget the hot dogs. These involve a nice large frank on a quality bun. Again, the key here is the large listing of toppings. Any of these can be added to the dogs in order to make a special and personal creation. The most popular sides are probably the fries. These come in a regular tasty variety, and then the Smith Fries, which are liberally sprinkled with the spicy Smith Seasoning. This is a great place for a burger with all locations unfortunately in Louisiana (meaning you can't find them anywhere else). I had the brisket burger, which is a blend of brisket and chuck, and truly delivers on the menus promise to deliver a full bodied "beefy" flavor. You basically build each burger from scratch, with 15 free condiments. There are 7 cheeses, 19 other sauces and condiments - including Smith Sauce (think Cajun mayo) - which was very good, cage feee eggs, chili, bacon, even crab meat and many more. All of the other 19 have some sort of charge attached to it. The fries were handcut and very good. For Sunday's they also have bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosas. Stopped in for a quick bite. Decided to get the salad with Smith Burger on top. Salad was a nice green salad with red grape tomatoes cucumber and a lemon vinaigrette dressing.
