OK let me start off by saying that angel the manager builds a great sandwich. Tonight I ordered food from there, and it was the first time my wife had ordered a sandwich she is vegetarian they built her a great vegetarian sandwich. So here's what happened they did not get our order right at all it was not made Mike's way. There was no red pepper relish on our sandwiches at all I ordered a chipotle mayo not only did that not happen there was almost no mayo at all . Also my wife wanted Dijon mustard on hers that did not happen. I will come back to this place because I've seen and I have some great sandwiches I hope I don't have to stand in front of them all the time to get my sandwich right. Time for an update! I usually get the chicken philly (no peppers) on white. It's a tasty subbie. The BBQ beef is also really delicious. Sometimes the service can be on the slow side and they really need a better cookie recipe, but they are my go-to for a reliable philly on soft bread. read more

Great JM location. I grew up in a town that is 12 miles from the original store in NJ, so I always wonder what I am going to get out of state. I had tried a different location in Phoenix and was not impressed- it eventually closed down. This store does a great job and has extremely friendly and helpful staff. It's so hard to find a roast beef sandwich where the roasts are cooked on site, and not the deli roast beef that comes from a provisioner- (with the exception of Thumann's) even the top tier brands of provisioner roast beef always have an aftertaste from the saline in the packaging. The Italian subs are made correctly as well, a la "Mike's Way" and exceed those of a well known Italian deli in North Phoenix. We used the app to place an order for pickup as we've done multiple times with no issues, but today the sandwiches were made wrong, my order was missing a sandwich, which of course was not discovered until we returned home. When we returned to store to get the order corrected, they said we didn't pay for extra meat when clearly the charge was notated in the receipt. Overall terrible experience. My advice is to inspect every sandwich when picking up orders, good luck if you choose to order. read more

When they get it right, the subs are great, but...they often don't get it right. I spent $30 on a giant Italian sub, but they did not put any sauces/oil on it. I contacted corporate, they blew me off, and so did the franchisee. Not even a "sorry 'bout that" answer. Much happier with alternate stores. read more

I normally don't review places, however this location is pretty good. I won't say it's super clean during a rush (I've worked in a restaurant and understand the struggle, doesn't bother me a bit to to not have a meticulously clean cutting station ever sandwich). I went in during a lunch rush on a Saturday. Pretty busy and a decent 15 min wait time, not terrible. I'm commenting because the food was still outstanding. It wasn't the fastest or most fantastic sandwich I've ever had, but the service, genuine kindness of the guys behind the counter(just guys this time) and no skimping on quality in a rush made me leave this comment. I love the jersey mikes when I go up north, and I'm happy there's such a nice one so close to home now. Picture this...you go to your favorite sub joint, order your favorite subs, get them home, sit down ready to dig in and your wife says "this is tuna and jalapeños". WTH...her favorite sub is The American Mike's way....damn... Of course I need to drive the 15 minutes with the gross sub...ticked off that my cheese steak is sitting on the counter...quality quickly decreasing...finally make it through rush hour traffic...drag that gross sub into the store and let the guy know I was given the incorrect sub. Of course he makes the correct one right away. Here's where my disappointment really hits home...no offer of a free sub, no offer to bump up my points on my membership...nothing. Barely got a sorry...the moral of the story boys and girls....make sure you get the right sub to start with cus you ain't gettin jack if it's wrong. I've been to this location five or six times since it opened a few months ago. I've tried the meatball sub, the big kahuna, the roast beef and provolone, along with the club. All were delicious but my favorite was the meatball mmmm...so good. If you read the menu, you'll see that the club includes mayo, so be sure and ask for no mayo if its unwanted...the employees are very nice and the manager runs a tight ship. Tables are almost always clean, and the floor is too....the line is often long,(a good sign) but it's well worth the wait. My son told me to try Jersey Mike's, he likes it better than Jimmy Johns. I visited the shop in Goodyear, corner of Dysart and McDowell roads. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and upbeat. I was greeted by two different people when I walked in. When asked if I had been there before, I said no, and they gave me a free cookie. Based on a Yelper's review, I tried the Philly Cheesesteak. It was the best I've had in Arizona (the best ever was at The White House in Atlantic City, NJ). It's also the first time I've ordered a "hot sandwich" at a sub chain and had it actually served to me HOT. It was wrapped in foil, and when I unwrapped it, steam was coming from the meat and cheese. The sandwich was delicious. The staff were friendly. The price was a bit steep, but not unreasonable at all considering what I got for it. The place was clean. What else can I say? Love the sandwiches, but online ordering to skip the line is a complete joke. I arrived at my scheduled pickup time, one dude at the grill and one dude making a queued customer a sandwich. After completing his current order asked me if I was an Uber pickup, told him no, I'm here to pickup my own sandwich. Long story short, two more customers got a sandwich made before I received mine. Tried Jersey Mikes today and enjoyed a large tuna sub. The tuna was fresh, the bread had a nice soft crunch, and all added vegetables looked and tasted fresh. Overall, I would rank it as a five star sub. Why the 4 stars? Even though the sub was nice and large in size; the price ($14+) seemed a little high for what you were getting. I definitely would say the quality and size far surpasses Subway's Large Tuna but with their price around $8, I can't rationalize paying $6 more for Jersey Mike's. Very tasty sub though! read more

We use to eat here all the time. I found out I had Celiac about 15 months ago and have missed out on a lot of my favorite eateries. I heard they had gluten free bread so I was anxious to try. I went there today with my wife for lunch. I believe it was the manager that was there and I asked if they had gluten free bread. He said yes and he asked me if it was a preference or allergy. I said allergy and he said that he would take care of it. He was very knowledgeable on what Celiac was and took great care in making my sandwich. It was so nice to have one of there sandwiches again. Gluten free bread is usually never as good as normal bread but I have to say it was pretty darn good. It's nice to go to a place that understands celiac as well as this guy did. We ordered 5 sandwiches on the Jersey Mike's App. After waiting 30min for the sandwiches we were told that they were out of bread. They never contacted us to let us know that they were out of bread. They had our phone number and couldn't take a minute to call. When asked, we were told by the manager that they were too busy to call. I drove 20min to get to the store and you couldn't make a quick call or even a text. And how does a sub shop run out of bread? I went to the Goodyear location for the first time today. Since it was 100% give back to a local charity I thought why not. My order was wrong and disappointing. They didn't give me the bread that I ordered on one of the sandwiches, the bread was hard as a rock on one of the ends of two sandwiches and the meat favored one side of the sandwich which left the other side bareish. They skimped on sauce and peppers and the cheese wasn't even melted. If it wasn't for the Children's hospital charity today I would of asked for my money back. I won't go back and spend $15 on a sandwich again and suggest that if you order you make sure to open it before you even leave the restaurant. read more

My fiancé and I are regulars here. This specific location is terrible. There are 6-8 workers, most of which walk around without helping us after 10 minutes of us being there and nobody ahead of us.
