Food is always good, but why was I made to feel like my catering order was such an inconvenience for them after taking over $200 plus a tip? I tried to place the order online last night but their online system was down. Called this morning and placed the order for a 5:30 pick up. The lady that finished my phone order was very nice. When I came in to pick up, I ordered an additional sandwich and was told my order cater order would be ready in 15 minutes. Perfectly fine, I was early. During my entire visit, no smile despite my big one. No thank you for the business. Staff seemed absolutely miserable working there and the place was empty. I'm sorry I spent money at your establishment, purchasing subs and salad, was too much for an employee to smile or thank you for the business. Brought my family in here a couple weeks ago to try their Sunday special out. Was about 30 minutes before close and got the dirtiest Looks from the employees about showing up towards the end of their shift. Walked out went over to wok fire next-door spent about $75 to feed my family. They missed out that day. Even went as far as filling out a customer satisfaction survey on the website, explaining what happened and never heard back from anybody ....Gave him a try again today and had just as bad of an experience. Employees were rude, unfriendly lacked salesmanship and made honestly a bad sandwich which is hard to do. Not sure how this place is still in business with all the negative reviews that I see here on yelp. I would love to hear directly from the owner on how he runs a business like this..... read more

Came back after three years because I just love their sandwiches so much and wanted to give them another chance... I'm glad I did! They have since remodeled, new crew and it's just much better than it has been in the last few years. Everyone is nice and there was no hair in my sandwich this time! Was back for another meal and on Tuesday they have a $9 99 special of an 8 inch sandwich, chips and drink. It saves $3. Went with the turkey again on white and the oil and vinegar treatment. Still a good sandwich, but will go back to mayo next visit. read more

Love mr goodcents. Used to live by the one on thunderbird and went religiously. My sister is in town and was her first request. So go to this location to get sandwiches to take to the park. Order 7 sandwiches (Me and hubby, brother and wife, and sister and her husband and my nephew) The guy looks at me and asks how many. I say Seven sandwiches - to his reply "seven sandwiches are you serious" which makes me give him like an awkward sorry like I'm doing something wrong by trying to treat my sister. He starts cutting the bread and throwing pieces on the ground like a baby having a temper tantrum. I ended up not getting anything. Prices are so inflated I don't really even eat out and I'm not paying $100 in meals for some smooshed sloppy sandwiches. My 1st time here and it definitely won't be my last! Super convenient location right off Bell and 91st near the 101. Tons of ample parking. Super clean and lots of seating to stretch your legs or chill out after a tough day at work like I did. I don't think it's any secret that I'm somewhat of a sandwich fiend. I'm hell bent on trying all of them. And people are, like, you mean all of them in Peoria? All of them in the Valley? All of them in Arizona? No. I mean, ALLLLLLLL of them. So I opted for the Goodcents Original which is freshly-sliced ham, bologna, salami and pepperoni. The meat really is freshly-sliced. I mean, they do it right before your very eyes. In other words, it's not sitting in a cold deli case or kicking back at room temperature in some black plastic cases behind a glass counter. It's freshly-sliced. In addition to all of that fresh cut meat, they layered thin sliced cheddar cheese on top of the meat. From there, I piled on a ton of fresh veggies in addition to a little yellow mustard. All of those ingredients were piled on some fresh wheat bread and I do mean, fresh. I mean, the bread was soft was a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. I think as my fellow Yelp'ers mentioned for a quick, fresh sub shop - it's tough to beat Goodcents. As I mentioned earlier, it was my first time eating here and it most definitely won't be my last. Goodcents is always a great place to go when you need a fresh delicious sub. I love that they slice all your meats and cheese right in front of you. The veggies are always fresh looking as well. I really like how the bread is thinner and it doesn't feel like you're just eating a bunch of bread with a piece of meat. The family prefers sandwiches from here over other quick chains. The prices are reasonable and they have a few different sizes. The whole is a 16 inch instead of a 12 and I can split a whole one between my 2 kids and myself. They also have a rewards program so if you go often you can get free food or money off your next order. If you're in the mood for a fresh sandwich definitely give them a try! I just wish they delivered to my area is my only complaint. Probably is a good thing they don't for the sake of my waistline. Lol we will be back soon! read more

At first I thought I was eating a human hair. I really wanted to try Goodcents because of the freshness. The downside is if you have someone either too inexperienced or too lazy to do their job, it ruins the whole experience. This is the plastic wrapping (not casing) from the pepperoni on the Italian sub. With each bite I had to pull these out of my mouth and I probably digested some smaller pieces. I was in the place at 89th and bell rd and ordered a 12 inch meatball. The lady in the front was pleasant and when the man that makes the sandwiches came up with it, I asked him if I could get some veggies on it. The lady said I asked you if you wanted the way it came with tomato sauce , cheese and meatballs. I did not know that meant that when it came up front you couldn't add anything. i guess I didn't know the procedure and I asked if I could still get them added on. Not because of the customers or the amazing food but because of the owner, a son of a cop, Mitch Brady has decided it's bad business to pay his staff. As of today, it's been 5 days and none of his employees have received a paper check and none of his employees were allowed to sign up for direct deposit. They slice their meat so ridiculously thin, my wife and I went here twice just to make sure the first time wasn't a fluke but nope! You can barely taste the meat. It's all bun and everything else. I would not recommend this place. The main ingredient the meat is almost nonexistent. I don't mean to be so harsh but come on business owners, this is laughable. You'd be better off going next door to Albertsons, buying a loaf of bread and get two slices of meat at the deli, you'll at least get flavor that way and pay WAAYYYY less. The subs were AMAZING!! so delicious they had so much meat and everything down to the salad tasted fresh! We both got halves and devoured them in minutes! First time trying this place and sorry to say I was disappointed. I got the large 16' Ultimate Club and Penny Club but the sandwiches were soggy and I ordered the Penny toasted but did not get that. That and the fact the bread is slim and narrow could be the reason for it being so soggy. Also Ultimate portion size was small and missing green peppers. My work ordered subs from Mr. Goodcents off of 89th Ave. and Bell Road it's the Peoria location. This was the worst sub I have ever had it wasn't even close to the picture and I know that it never looks exactly like the but this was horrible it looks like a 2yr old made the sandwich. My co-workers where very disappointed with their sandwiches too. I'll try to post a picture. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch it was shredded rotisserie chicken, not grilled like the picture showed, it was dry and had hardly any ranch dressing on it, the lettuce was Shredded iceberg lettuce. Tristan was good at listening to our order and he is a sandwich connoisseur. It was Thursday special $9.99 for a 16" sub; the value was great. The daily staff are amazing and do such a good job of knowing my order from the week before. The staff is friendly and give away free cookies and fountain drinks. If I were a business owner, I'd pay every staff member at least $15/hr to reward them for their consistent hard work. I'd also alert them that the CDC announced there is no longer the need to wear a mask. I'd also give each of them equal opportunities and clear goals in how they can better themselves. Ah, I only have enough money to buy a 16" once a week during the Thursday special, which costs $11.99 ($9.99 less than 2yrs ago). The staff is ALWAYS so friendly. I used to always go in until covid now I do delivery they are always prompt and my order is always correct and fresh and they are always so friendly. I had to call the manager today just to let them know how great the service is there.
