But the quality of the roast beef declined a while ago, and it's noticeable that they no longer advertise that it's made fresh in the stores. Once again I tried to have lunch at this disgusting sub shop. Every single time I we go in to have a sandwich we walk out because the cold cuts are always dried out. They tried to sell me roast beef that was the end of the cut ( Like always) it looked dried out & disgusting. We will never ever ever ever ever returning to a Jersey Mike's again. The food is awful. Stopped off to grab some sandwiches for lunch and again, service is outstanding, food is awesome, I mean come on!! it's made to order right in front of you ... and that BACONNNNNN have you seen that stack!? OH MY GOODNESS, indeed it is crispy and tasty and of course extra bacon "always" on the sandwiches for Mini-Me and the MR. I want to give a shout out to the crew here, because I prefer to order my #13 as a salad. At some "other" places they will chop the ever liven life out of the salad and meat and you get a sub-tub- of- mushy-mush, but not at Jersey Mikes. They slice the deli meat so thin and then they roll it and cut it with a knife, not quite bite size and place it on the lettuce so nice! it really makes it so much easier to eat this way. They even put the oil & vinegar on the side in a little cup w/lid, so you can eat it at home without it getting all wilty. YAY!!! So Jersey Mikes!! Round of applause because at this shop right here you guys make killer sub sandwiches and you own the title of "Best Damn Sub Sandwiches!" But that BACONNNNN-- so so so so goooood! read more

I love me some Jersey Mike's. I was in the area for a soccer game and was looking for a spot to get lunch. I jumped off 195 and headed down Route 9. Amidst a bunch of the normal fast food choices - Taco Bell, McDonalds, etc. - I spied a sign that said "Jersey Mike's turn right." This location is totally hidden from Route 9, but is worth keeping an eye out. As I rolled up, I recalled being here several years ago - perhaps even one of my very first Jersey Mike's experience and recall it fondly. There is extra parking to the side and they need it. It was very busy on a Saturday afternoon, but they were well staffed, friendly, and pumping the sandwiches out. My usual - the club supreme - was well constructed with generous portions of all the toppings. I know the meat is the usual deli quality, but their shtick of cutting it to order gets me every time - love it. Yet another satisfying Jersey Mike's experience. read more

Subs are pretty good. Ordered the chicken bacon ranch sub and on another day got a regular philly cheese steak. They were both really good.

Didn't feel like making breakfast or lunch today, so Jersey Mike's popped into my mind. Since I haven't been there in awhile, I checked their menu online and learned they made Reuben sandwiches. I've been dying for a hot pastrami sandwich for sometime, so I wound up ordering a regular hot pastrami sandwich *without the sauerkraut and *without the Swiss, but kept the lettuce, tomato and onions. I wanted to have Russian dressing on it but it was not available, so I had the 1000 island dressing *on the side instead. I also ordered a regular #11. Salami and Provolone *without the ham. Both were equally excellent. What else would you expect? But hey, it's "Jersey Mike's!" Prices were what I expected, but why drive miles away to save a few, insignificant dollars? Alright. I never thought it would come down to this. Normally I'm a huge fan of Jersey Mike's Subs. They are always very friendly and helpful but tonight something was VERY different. My partner and I were ordering sandwiches, and my partner has very severe gluten allergies. It's hard enough as it is just to find places to eat and enjoy so when we had a positive experience last time, we had decided to come back. One of the men working the deli took our order, given very clear instructions on how to prepare the food safely. Given that he had just been working on other Sandwiches on normal bread, you would have thought that he would have more common sense as to wash his hands before putting new gloves on (I work in Foodservice and those gloves do NOTHING to stop things from getting on your hands). We asked him promptly to wash his hands. After this things didn't get much better. He went and retrieved the gluten free rolls from the back, but then proceeds to use provolone cheese that had already been used, even though we strictly said that could not be done. At this point I was ready to hop back there and make it myself because clearly it wasn't going to be done right. After that, he proceeded to move the sandwiches over to the main station, completely destroying the idea of a gluten free sandwich and more than enough to trigger my partner's allergy if they had been foolish enough to eat the sandwich. Throughout the whole ordeal, the man was very closed-off and very unfriendly, and before we could even tell him that he was making the wrong sandwich for one of them, he was already done and moving them over to the main station. When he brought out what seemed like new toppings (one of the only parts he did right), he had began talking to one of his coworkers and I could overhear him complaining about how annoying it was. I also heard him say to his coworker to make the toppings extra thin and light. Imagine being someone who already has trouble talking to people and ordering food as it is, and understanding that your order is a pain and just trying to eat food outside of the house for one night! My partner was scared to death to even tell him to remake the sandwiches because of how irritated he already seemed to be. Instead, I gave my partner the money and took one of the sandwiches. The toppings that my partner had asked for weren't even on the sandwich in the first place. It's very upsetting that after an eight hour shift at work I can't even eat food with my partner at a place that offers food that we can both eat. On my end, I'm not allergic to gluten, and my sandwich was very quick and easy. Even mine, however, was the worst sandwich I have EVER received from a Jersey Mike's location. It is my assumption that the performance on my sandwich was affected because of the "inconvenience" of my partner's order, even though they cannot help having an allergy to gluten. Very subpar performance and horrendous customer service. Don't offer gluten free rolls and sandwiches if you're going to not train your workers on how to properly handle them. read more

Yes, it's a growing sandwich chain, which originated down the road in Point Pleasant, NJ. But dang it, the subs are so good. Well, technically I can't say "subs" because I always get the same one: The Big Kahuna Cheese Steak with grilled onions, mushrooms, jalapeños and extra cheese! A 'regular' size is plenty, but if you really want to take it to the next level, go with the 'giant.' You'll definitely be taking some extra home to chow down on later, which is never a bad thing. Jersey Mike's definitely beats the other sub shop chains by offering freshly baked bread, quality veggies and personally sliced meats and cheeses, giving a truer definition to the phrase "Eat Fresh." read more

Jersey Mike's is my favorite chain place to get a sub. I went to this place and got the number 7 which I believe is the turkey with provolone. Jersey Mike's has there own brand of meat they use and whatever it is, it tastes very good. The cheese is also Jersey Mike's brand. The bread is also really good and I have never received a bad roll. I like that I can just Jersey Mike the sub too and that just means that I want all the seasoning and toppings. Other places need to adopt this method of just put everything on it and stop asking me questions. This specific location is nestled on the corner of a very busy intersection of route 9 and although it doesn't look like much from the outside it is actually a very clean and well kept place on the inside. They also had enough employees to actually make the sandwiches so even though there was a line I was in and out. I love when that happens. Also free refills on drinks! Worth a stop in if you are in this area of route 9. read more

Until this past summer I forgot how delicious Jersey Mike's is! I always loved their club sub, and have had it from Brick and Point Pleasant locations, and now Howell too. They are incredibly consistent I have to say! Always the same and always fresh! The guys at Howell are super friendly too! They now make a Chipotle Cheese Steak, which is phenomenal! I actually have been on a Sub in a Tub kick, which I had never tried, and it is now one of my most favorite salads EVER! I add my own twist to the Club Sub In a Tub and get it with the chipotle mayo they use on the Chipotle Cheesesteak, and viola it is out of this world! read more

Jersey Mikes is delicious and this location never disappoints. The employees are always so friendly & always fast! If there's a line, each employee is designated to do something different for your order so it goes so fast. The quality of food is excellent. I also order online frequently and am literally in and out when picking up the order. Everything is always done with precision and care. Stopped in for dinner after work and ordered a sub. I repeated the order 3 times due to food allergies. When I got home and opened it, the order was completely wrong, to include all that I was allergic to added. When I brought it back I was met with a high school kid in an apron who found it amusing. Expensive and average tasting sandwiches. Limited menu selection, they do not toast subs at all. You can get more for your money having Shoprite in Jackson build a better sandwich and save 4 dollars! 10 dollars for a whole sub is very expensive. I love this place. Only people that can make my sandwich just the way I like it. The only thing that bothers me is the sizes of the subs.
