+ Always love me some delicious, healthy, convenient JM subs. + Polite, attentive staff. Efficient service. . Large but crowded parking. + I really enjoy the streamlined experience of ordering ahead through their mobile app. Just make sure you selected the correct pick-up location.

My son loves Jersey Mike's. We ordered 2 giant #3's to take to the beach today. It was also my first time using the app, which is good since the receipt justifies my complaint. For nearly $40, I received bread, ham, and cheese. I am pretty sure that "Mike's Way" is not dry and nearly tasteless. I was half tempted to dip my sandwich in some ocean water for a little flavor. It is insane how expensive these sandwiches are in the first place. I think that it is reasonable to expect that my sandwiches will come as ordered. I am happy to take my business elsewhere too, but it would make me happier if people simply took pride in their own work. Order: 01-001747-99-096430 at 12:34 on 8/31/25

They totally forgot the napkins! ;)

Danny DeVito's commercial sucked me in and I tried here again. Super fresh, had flavor but you don't taste the individual deli meats; definitely missing something. Edible Italian but sure wish the West Coast would figure out East Coast crusty bread?!

We love coming to this Jersey Mikes location! The employees have a super great and positive vibes! We enjoy seeing Josh and Cali! They work hard and have great customer service!! We are regulars here that they know our order and best of all our names! Every employer should have super great and personable employees like Josh and Cali! We come in the evenings and they don't tend to have a long line or wait like other restaurants nearby. The restaurant's dining area is always clean! On top of that the food is fresh! You really can't go wrong with any item from their menu. We've enjoyed the Turkey, Tuna, Philly Cheese, Big Kahuna, Chipotle Chicken Sub, etc. The price for subs is on a higher end compared to Subway but it's much fresher and delicious!

I would typically rate them a five but our last visit the bread was super dry. We will be back as I am sure it was a fluke..

I've heard the Peruvian Steak, Prosciutto, and Chicken are good too! My only feedback with the Happy Hippie is that there is slightly too much filling, so it falls when you are eating the sandwich. Each of their sandwiches comes with two halves and is filling and satisfying. They also use fresh, vibrant vegetables, and a store associate told me their bread is baked fresh every day! Service: The service here is half the reason I come! A lovely store associate will guide you when ordering, and they will bring the food right to you! When they bring the food, there are two napkins on the tray. If they see you carrying your tray after you are finished eating, they will also offer to take it for you! Although the sandwich prices are slightly premium, you are paying for their healthy ingredients and exceptional service! Ambiance: This restaurant is spacious with many tables on the inside and outside! Their bathrooms are also really clean and well kept! Please go here for a healthy, non-bloating meal when you're in the area!

Tough call... This is my favorite Mendocino Farms location…read moreout of at least five I have been to around Orange County. The problem with this sandwich chain is one and only: They have a huge issue with quality consistency. Ask their managers and they will tell you that the portions and sandwiche ingredients are strictly measured, but as a customer you know that's not the case. You go to some places and get these tiny sandwiches with two slices of bread and barely any ingredients in between. The Tustin location, located in Whole Foods has been the worst offender at this by far. Now this Campus Drive location has been creating the best, most generous, consistent sandwiches. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen every time still. It all depends on who you get as you cook on that day, crafting your sandwich. Some day sandwiches that get to the table are juicy and enjoyable, and sometimes, they come out to be disappointedly small, with minimum amount of ingredients. I had to complain to the manager a couple of times, but it doesn't help. Every time I come here, I pray to get the right chef who will make my sandwich well. Absolutely hate being at their mercy.

You can tell who is the manager - he's the guy sitting at a table with a "Stand" hat and tee-shirt feverishly entering data and looking at stuff on the computer. Why are managers always the one at the table with a laptop? If you go just down the block to Flower Child the manager is the one working at the counter handing our orders, or delivering orders to tables and interacting with the guests. Never saw him use a laptop but I'm certain he does. But the manager said goodbye to us as we left. A chicken sandwich with chicken and cole slaw was made with chicken that we very flat and hard, and had no real taste at all. I think we've been trained to get all our flavor from sauces - they had lots of sauces available and brought them to the table on request. A basket of sweat potato fried was undercooked and too soft. Not so good even with salt and lots of sauces. Of course we didn't eat the signature burger....that's what The Stand is known for...so we didn't really give them a chance for their home run. The place was about 25% full at about 3pm so ambiance was fairly quiet and service was quick. Not sure about a return visit. We're on the fence.

Their menu is solid, with burgers and other items that make a casual meal. You can also order via their app to pick up. They get really busy at times, and orders take a little longer. There have been a few times when they made the wrong order by mixing up sauces among items I have ordered. For example, the sauces I order for fries were added to a hot dog. That can be annoying, especially when the orders state which condiments go with what items. They do correct the orders, which I appreciate. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Because the Newport Beach weather is amazing year-round, eating outdoors is definitely a treat.

Honestly it tasted disgusting. I took one bite and threw out the rest. Also, I'm not sure why they are using a burger bun instead of the same bread in the Buena Park location. It does not go well with the sandwich. There's only 1 person working so she was busy making the drinks/food by herself. I guess I'll stick to the Buena Park location.

You order at a kiosk, grab your own utensils and water, and throw out your own bowls and plates after. There's even a stack of takeout bags for customers to grab. The single staff member just fulfills the order and leaves it at the counter. As other reviewers have mentioned, the female employee isn't particularly warm and fuzzy but that's fine with me. The ramen here appears to be literally buldak ramen and shin ramen. The "mild" flavor shows no chili pepper icons next to it but if you can't handle spice, I would avoid. The K-style tteokbokki and udon is pretty spicy (two chili pepper icons) compared to some others we've had locally. It comes with fish cake and wide glass noodles. My fish cakes were a little dried out because of being overdone (or over reheated I should say). However, the other bowls for the rest of my group seemed to be fine. The flavor otherwise was good. Portion size is acceptable for the price. The udon was bouncy and cooked to perfection (not overdone or soft). The bulgogi bowl is totally not spicy so it's a good option for someone who doesn't want something spicy. It's not mentioned on the menu but it's served with a generous helping of roasted seaweed flakes on top. The portion was okay for the price but honestly, I think I prefer CA Gogi a few storefronts over which is somewhat similar in price but at least offers a choice of banchan to make your bowl more interesting. I would come back again if I was in the area and needed a close location to UCI and wanted tteokbokki for a reasonable price and is fast.

I came across the Terrace, located near the university, which featured a lovely patio and scenic views overlooking the golf course. When we arrived around two in the afternoon, the restaurant was nearly empty. The interior was stylish, but I preferred sitting outside to enjoy the view. A large group of golfers was having lunch nearby. Since it wasn't crowded, our server easily arranged a table for seven. One downside was a man who continued to smoke on the patio despite being told it wasn't allowed, though fortunately, he didn't smoke the entire time. My man and I shared a Mexican Mango Mule, which was especially refreshing after the lengthy ceremony. We sampled several dishes--calamari, chicken wings and fries, beef tacos, and chicken tacos--in order of preference, from most favorite to least (though none were bad, just varying in appeal). The kids enjoyed a bowl of Bolognese and seemed satisfied. To top it off, the staff surprised me with a complimentary brownie and ice cream to celebrate my graduation. The service was excellent, the venue was perfect for lunch, and the food was delicious!
