On a previous visit a couple of years ago it was horrible. The service was bad, the sandwich very disappointing very little meat. Well I decided to give it a try again today. And I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly the food was fresh and hot. I ordered the Big Kahuna it was excellent! So I have to give Jersey Mikes several pats on the back... traveling through Jackson headed to Nashville. Our family of 6 stopped in for lunch. We have never been to a jersey mikes before. Service was excellent. Greeted with a smile and a bit of humor. The manager brought our food to the table and helped make sure we had everything we needed. Food was good. I don't eat bread much and I decided to splurge and get a sub with white bread. Number 8. It was great. Instant carb coma! So the excellent service continues! We left and didn't think anything about it. But my wife had left her purse there. They made sure it was locked in the managers office until I could return from Nashville and get it for her. read more

The sandwich I purchased here on last Friday at the very bare minimum of veggies on it. My wife and I we were very disappointed. I had just purchased the same sandwich 2 days before and it was such an excellent sandwich I shared it with my wife and my wife and I drove back out of you with $5 in the tip phone just in front of that sandwich was so good. There needs to be a consistency when it comes to and they don't need to be the bare minimum. We were highly disappointed and we're going to give security to make another chance. Food is decent. My hubbie loves the chicken Philly. Not sure what's going on. Walked in and there were no customers but the place was nasty, food all over the place and all 3 employees were just sitting down. I get they deserve a break, but surely not all 3 at once and surely they could clean the counters and the floor up a little. Thursday night crew more interested in getting their cigarette break then making sure customers get their orders in a timely fashion. Gal that help me could have smiled but I don't really blame her. Did an online order. One sandwich was suppose to have lettuce and tomato added neither was done. Bread was ridiculously old and hard. They're out of several products. I think all employees need to look presentable when working for an establishment. Wearing a jacket and hood on your head with a hair bonnet is not acceptable. I understand in todays world long nails are the thing for ladies. But working in a restaurant and having clean, normal length nails are okay. When you're working with food it should not be acceptable. I always say it starts at the top and trickles down. So if management is poor you will get the same out of every employee. Nothing special here. Just another corporate sandwich shop. Customer service was good and friendly but I was the only customer they had to wait on. The sandwich's are nothing special, not as good as Lenny's or Jimmy Johns. However, they do offer different types of sandwich combinations that differ from most other corporate sandwich shops. I guess that's where the New Jersey flair comes into play. The relish is good similar to that of Lennys but unfortunately not very hot. The kicker is they only have a few and I mean just a few condiments and vegetables to add to your sandwich. They don't have as many choices as the other corporate sandwich places have. Just mainly lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo and relish. I guess they're trying to get you to order it the Jersey Mike's way, which includes nasty raw onions. What a arrogant position for them to have. They should have a few extra veggies on hand like spinach, cucumbers and stuff and let me make the decision on how I would like my sandwich. Maybe we need a Bubba's sandwich shop for this area instead of a Jersey Mike's. I can see it now....Bubba's Subs, Home of the fried bologna, egg, cheddar cheese, miracle whip and hot sauce sandwich! The food is really good but the service is terrible. It took 4 ladies to make one regular and their friends come in and ignored us and 3 other guests. They were making bacon on the entire grill and "couldn't make hot subs" because they were making bacon. A gentleman came in and waited for 10 minutes while we were eating and you could here the employees talking and laughing in the back. One of the employees was using the restroom and came out and had to tell the other 3 ladies that there's a customer. She's working hard while the others aren't working at all. They ladies have no urgency to get the customers food ready. It doesn't take 4 girls to make a sandwich. Poor service . Only one person working when I came in. The guy who started my sandwich seemed to be trying to do everything except make my sandwich. When a customer behind me ordered bacon he told her they had none. I had ordered the club which comes with bacon but he never told me they didn't have any until I asked. Food is fine but the employees are not fine at all. I've personally witnessed 5 employees standing around while I'm waiting for a sandwich and nobody is making it. Once I was there getting a sandwich and had to use the restroom, I waited for a few minutes outside the ladies room and when the door opened it was a male employee that had been using the ladies room. Good food, but the employee at the cash register messed up and rang us up for the wrong size sandwich. Instead of just accepting responsibility, she comes over to our table and tells us we will have to ring us up again to pay for the full amount since she messed up. Food was fresh, restaurant clean, employees were very nice. I didn't care for the food due to the spices used, but that's not saying anything bad about the food. I have a picky taste for everything. My wife and I brought the sandwiches home where our boys devoured them and asked when we would go back. So now we swing by Jersey Mike's for them and go by another spot for us. Prices are normal, but the amount on the gigantic is more than 1 sitting. We like that due to feeding to boys that surprising have not chewed thru the table yet.
