Typical subs place. Pretty good selection. Definitely a nice touch that they slice the deli meat and cheese right in front of you! You can get the subs "mike's way" which is basically everything on it with red wine vinegar and olive oil etc. I kinda thought the red wine vinegar was a little too much. It was splashing everywhere, and I kinda felt bad for the worker who had to do that. Later, it makes for a slightly soggy sandwich. Hm so we tried the Italian (yum), chipotle steak (kinda too sweet), and chipotle turkey (yum). I think overall it was okay, but nothing mind blowing. BTW the giant size is basically two servings of the regular. Anyway, it was honestly a slightly stressful atmosphere with workers running around and yelling things, but it's SO MUCH FASTER than quizno's!! I admire efficiency (I heart america) That being said, I think I'm still a toasted sandwich girl and will have to stick with my potbelly's and quizno's. read more

I like this place. The best part about Jersey Mikes is there pleasant service that I encounter EVERY time I get a sandwich....I REPEAT EVERY TIME!!!!! A warm greeting does a lot for a business, sometime overshadowing a "shotty" product. The food here is pretty good, always get my grinder "MIKES WAY" adding Italian spices, red wine vinegar, and olive oil. The ingredients are all very good. The meats and cheeses are sliced to order, unlike JJ's and Subway. My only beef, pun not intended, is the bread is a little bit on the crusty/stale side. I do understand that this may be intentional, however the plastic tub that the bread comes out of when you order a sandwich is not sealed (air tight) so me thinks it may be stale. There are not many options for additional toppings here, this is another minor complaint. I know this is an east coast thing, they do things their way so I will leave them alone to sticking to tradition. Prices are right on par with other delis in the area....i do split my time between this place and the other freakin fast place. read more

LOVE this place! I love that I am greeted as soon as I walk in the door. This place is ALWAYS busy whenever I go in, but I don't mind waiting in line because the employees are so friendly when it is your turn to order. I am always asked how my day is/has been. The cheese steak is epic. Especially the froo-froo amped up one. Somewhat arbitrarily listed as #56 or something on the menu if I recall. Everything seems very fresh and the sandwiches are nicely complemented by "The Juice" which is, as far as I can tell, a vinegar and oil blend. I've never been to Philly, but this is the best cheesesteak I've ever had. Staff is very friendly, and they keep the place very clean. Very cool that everything is done in-store, from the baking of the bread to the cooking of the roast beef and slicing of other meats when you order. Lines can be ridiculously long during peak hours, but it's worth the wait. read more

Today when I went in, I learned that the location is under new ownership and would now be charging $.75 per extra topping on the side. That's new. The only thing that could improve Jersey Mike's is if there were more locations! Seriously good food. These are the best subs you will ever have - the colds done Mike's Way are great - but the Philly CheeseSteak? Look out! I am a huge fan of Jersey Mikes and this is my favorite location. The online order experience has always been very good for me and the in-store experience is even better. The staff are always supper nice and have a big smile on their faces when the see/talk to you. The ingredients are always super fresh and taste supper good. My favorite sandwich place in Naperville. Always greeted by friendly and energetic employees. The sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced. If you look online you can generally find a free chips and a drink coupon. My favorite is the turkey with provolone. The bread is always fresh. They always move through the line pretty fast. Had to stop in a for a quick bite in between Saturday errands and way glad I did. Amazing sub, more amazing staff. Just the nicest bunch of people I've ever seen in a resturant - so positive, energenic, friendly. The main guy took a good 3-4 minutes to help a customer with a small kid make a great and tastey sub that Mom knew he'd like. You don't see that enough - employees having fun giving customers a great product. Open up more locations, espcially in the city! I love Jersey Mike's, but can't stand the delivery wait time for our food. Papa John has inferior beef, but a great bun and unparalleled service give PaPa John's the nod. Cut the Grub Hub and make your own delivery service as good as PJs and you'll kill it. read more

I've patronized Jersey Mike's for many years, but I strongly suggest avoiding the 75th St location just because of the extreme inconsistency in customer service, mostly due to the incredibly inappropriate and abusive owner. I always order the same thing: #17 (Philly Cheesesteak), on wheat, well done (because I get it to go and I hate soggy bread). I tip well, avoid using coupons, and during Covid-19, I order through the app and tip twice the usual amount when I pick up. Today's experience was surreal. I picked up the sandwich at the exact time the app indicated. I get home and discover it wasn't cooked to my order. I called the store and asked them to make a replacement so that it's ready when I get back there in 10 minutes. I drive back to drop off the original sandwich - and surprise, surprise, nothing is ready. The surly guy at the counter (who turns out to be the owner) starts arguing with me, demanding to know what's wrong with the cheesesteak, and keeps telling me that I am wrong about it not being well done. I tell him that I won't argue with him but that I've eaten the Philly Cheesesteak that was cooked well done multiple times. Only then he starts cooking the replacement. While I am waiting, he keeps telling me that I am wrong, that the cheesesteak was cooked correctly, that he owned this location for 10 years, that he has to think about making his payroll - no apology for wasting good 20-30 minutes of my time. The proof being in the proverbial pudding (well, cheesesteak) dripping with liquid apparently did not quite convince him either - so this might be a case of living in magical reality for him too. I've just had it at that point. All I wanted was my damn cheesesteak, cooked the way I asked it to be cooked. You want to turn away the customers who continue giving you business and supporting you during tough times? You've got it, friend. Keep your cheesesteak and refund my order. Telling the owner that he can keep his food and that he should refund my order was apparently the tipping point as he started screaming at me. There was at least some silver lining in social distancing as saliva was flying from the other side of the counter. And that, my little friends, is why I won't be coming back to the 75th St Jersey Mike's - and neither should you. read more

I called a location closer to me on Ogden and asked if I could get some subs in box and they told me I had to do it 24 hours in advance and that they couldn't help me because they didn't have enough to make 4 giant subs and put them in box! So I called this location and they helped me! They were able to make the subs in a box. Very happy read more

I thought their subs were good but I'm still a BIG fan of jimmy johns and potbellies more than jersey mikes. They do give you a big portion in terms of the size of the sub (if you get a large) and the ingredients are fresh. The price is about $6 for just the sub with drink probably around $8. However, I ordered a reuben sandwich and thought that the meat was too salty for my taste. read more

Taking away a star for the smart assed staff. I hope the owner or/or manager reads these reviews. There's no need for the comments when you order something. Anyone who ordered a giant yesterday got a 'boy you must be hungry' comment. I find them simply annoying, there's no need to chat me up when I'm waiting especially when it's just stupid comments. This is what happens when the whole place is run by teenagers. The Lombard location has much better staff and when they talk to you they don't comment on your food choices or if you're so hungry. I also wasn't paying attention when I ordered a few weeks ago as I was busy paying but they jacked up my order and when I got home the only things on my sub were lettuce, onion and tomatoes, she forgot everything on the right side I asked for. Poor Service, but good food. I walked in around 12:30 and gave my order to the cashier, a mid-height asian kid wearing a Chicago Bears hat and black rectangular glasses and he told me that I was at the front of the line and I had to order at the sign that said order here. Then I went there and ordered my sandwich, but when I went to the cashier again, he didn't remember what I ordered! He didn't even bother to try! He claimed that it was lunch rush or something and that he took 7 other people before me and he couldn't remember it so I told him the sandwiches I got and he rung me out (gave me my drink after I paid instead of right away btw +5 bad employee points) and then I told the girl that was putting the vegetables on my sandwich I wanted 6 slices of bacon and the cashier was like oh bacon is an extra charge and I asked if he could just let me have it for free since I already paid for it and hes like so sorry you gotta pay for it. I was just trying not to hold up the line but whatever I can pay a 50 cent upcharge. This is where crap really hit the fan. THE BOY CHARGED ME $4.50 FOR 6 SLICES OF BACON!!!! So I ask him why is the charge so expensive he said the extra bacon charge only adds 2 slices of bacon so he had to put it in 3 times so he charged me for extra bacon 3 times when I only added bacon to one of my sandwiches! Not sure if the kids tryin to scam me or if he's just stupid. Then I watched him ring up the next person in line and they had a sandwich with literally a huge boatload of baconon it. Literally just bacon lettuce tomato. Not even any cheese or deli meat!! And he didn't mention anything about extra bacon charges to the customer!! So I confront him and he said oh that particular sandwich comes like that which is a total lie because I looked at the menu above and there was no such sandwich on that big menu hanging from the ceiling the only sandwich that came with those 3 was the 26 but that is a chicken cheese steak that they make on the grill and the sandwich with the huge amount of bacon was not grilled nor had chicken on it. the only non-grilled sandwiches on that menu that said anything about bacon were the Club sub and the Club sub supreme and I've had both before and they only come with 2 slices of bacon. The sandwich with the boatload of bacon had at least 7-8 peices on it. Then he proceeds to tell me it is a sub that is not listed on the menu above, so now he's making up a secret menu to try to make me think he is right but he's probably a high school dropout because theres no way hes in college he looks like 16 and hes working a weekday at noon. So he is either one of those people who thinks they are always right or hes that high school dropout every fast food place has and he's desperately trying to defend himself because he can't afford to lose the only job he'll have for the rest of his life read more
