As I made my way to one of the booths, I cast my eye around the dining room, and frankly, I liked what I saw! The new laminate floor looked great, as did the brand new -and spotlessly clean- tables, chairs, and booths. The decorations and wall hangings were tasteful and un-cluttered, and I especially liked how the blue light horse silhouette (visible on far-right side of my dining room photo) conveyed a sense of good-Amish-food-meets-21st-century. After a pleasantly short wait, my order was delivered to my booth. The all-beef dogs were garnished with crispy-cooked bacon, red pepper relish, and shredded cheddar cheese. It's too large and really needs to be toasted (they really need to just use different buns). I didn't order fries as who really needs 5 pounds of French fries??? Especially since an order of fries is something close to $5 bucks. It's their gimmick and it's just dumb. I did ask if they had a smaller, more reasonable side of fries and the gal rather sheepishly said they did not, but she too wishes they did. Even if they offered a combo for a small savings???
