Never been before. Just got a few things to taste. Pretzel bites, fish sandwich, and grilled cheese off the kids menu with fries. Pretzel bites were hard as a rock and the grilled cheese tasted funny. Like off or it had been sitting a long while. Fish sandwich was ok. Not what its hyped to be. Everyone talks about the fish here being good so I did expect a bit more. This was a doordash order so I wasnt expecting the freshest. Just decent. I would give another try n update. read more

Last week, I reviewed the Secor Road Toledo, OH location. This week, I happened to be near the Holland, OH location of Culver's.. My mom loved their fish dinner last week and asked me to pick it up again. This time, I went through the drive thru in Holland, OH. No problem ordering, but there was a bit of a wait. I ordered the same cod fried fish dinner for my mom and tried the veggie burger with fries for myself. Since I didn't go inside the restaurant, I can't comment on the ambiance, though it's a chain and I think you can expect the usual. As for the food, however, chains can be different. The "same" fish dinner order was overcooked and smaller. Last week, I loved the fries at the other location and found these way too salty- to the point that I threw them out. The veggie burger also wasn't good. It was overcooked to the point of almost being burnt and just worse than meh. Such a disappointing experience. I wouldn't have honestly sought out this chain if it weren't for my mom and neither of us enjoyed our meals. It was a beautiful day outside so it was pleasant enough waiting on my order, but I don't ever plan to return to this location based on the food. The bill was approximately $24.99 before tip (for the person who walked the meals out to the car) for two meals and was so not worth it, unfortunately. The Secor Road location is far better in every respect. read more

Food was great. Great service. All of the staff were very friendly and offered to take dishes to the trash for us.

Overpriced. Slow. Small portions. Workers who put no effort into their job. Ice cream portions sometimes are tiny. Most of the times the toppings are barely there. This Culver's is horrible. Culver's is my fave fast food stop. I will drive out of my way to a Culver's whenever I have a hankering for fast food. Service is always efficient, and staff members seem to enjoy their job. My go-to is the Altantic Cod Filet Sandwich basket. Sometimes with fries, steamed veggies, or pretzel bites. The butter burgers are also very good. Fairly priced for the quality and portion sizes. Once in a while, you gotta splurge for their Concrete Mixer, Shake, or Malt. Good selection of pint of ice cream / custard yogurt. read more

I went through the drive thru for three kid's meals. I got home and no milk shakes were included. I called and their solution was to send me coupons for milkshakes or drive 10 miles back to get them. I'm not looking to take advantage BUT I feel some compensation would be appropriate. The manager (jake) solution was take it or leave it. p.s. the first time i was there was a totally different experience. I went as far as sending a very positive review. read more

Your typical Culver's. This one was very busy because it's in the same parking lot as a large shopping mall nearby. I always get the mushroom and Swiss burger and cheese curds, and my boyfriend gets the same burger, but in double size, and pretzel bites, and then we share the sides. Even though they were busy, we got our food within ten minutes after ordering, which was nice. I'd stop at this Culver's again on the way to Indiana, which is where we are going today. read more

I am not sure why the review average for this specific Culver's location is on the lower side, as I did not have any issues with the food or the service here while going through the drive-thru. The service is a bit on the slower side though, I will admit. read more

The staff here was working SUPER hard! I give them all 5 stars. But the wait tonight (Friday, 7 pm) was a doozy. The line inside was all the way to the back of the dining room. There were 2 of the 3 registers open, and one poor girl who appeared to be solely responsible for filling all in-person orders. The drive through line was really long, too! The workers had to keep walking out into the cold to deliver orders to cars pulled up all around the restaurant. The food was good, and I'm delighted they offer a vegetarian burger AND the option for a gluten-free bun for just a dollar more. 4 stars! But the 14 minute wait for my burger- on top of the long wait in line to order- and the messy condiments bar with a broken ketchup dispenser, and only 2 staffers masked, bumps the overall score down to a 3. I'd definitely return next time I'm in Toledo. It is the only restaurant within walking distance of this hotel. But it's also really nice to see a gluten-free veggie option at a fast food place, so thanks for that!! Again, shout out to the hard-working/over-worked team here. I think they could increase staffing by 50% on Friday nights, might help with the lines. Or not. This is really the only fast food place in the area it seems, so lines might just be part of the deal. read more

I discovered Culver's on a trip to Wisconsin many years ago. I was very excited when they built here in Toledo and I'm a frequent customer. Love the butter burger and the frozen custard and the service is always great. I doubt you'll find a better burger anywhere. read more

The crew is still learning customer service even after a year. They try but there is a lack basic customer service skills. That being said; they offer top notch delicious food and specialties you can't find at other fast food places. I love the fish sandwich, pork tenderloin, and pot roast. The butter burgers are delicious as are the crinkle fries and mashed potatoes with chicken gravy. And that strawberry custard shake is on POINT! read more

Soooo disappointed. If you make people wait ( long time for my order) at least make it worth it. Fried weee burned and hard, fish sandwich (with one fish tender) way over cooked and chewy (seemed like it was freezer burned but they say they don't freeze stuff), and the biggest disappointment was the "deluxe" burger. So dry and overcooked I checked for tumbleweed, but if the tomato (which apparently makes it "deluxe") and they forgot my salad and I had to wait longer. C'mon Culver's. I gave her another chance because I didn't have an experience last time after having a good experience the first time. I get that it was during the noon hour and you were busy, but this is entirely unsatisfactory. I ate less than half of the food. Salad was saved for later. Maybe that will be ok. Five guys clearly has nothing to worry about. read more

It always amazes me how long the line gets whenever a new place opens around town. And I'm pretty sure everyone else -- as far as other fast food burger places goes -- is suffering from it. First time I drove through the area and wanted some burgers I wasn't ready to wait it out so I decided against it. Second time around, I was more prepared mentally. Although the drive-thru experience wasn't as efficient as the neighboring "chicken specialty place" I don't remember it being too bad. The issue was that they left out two of my side items. Part of it is my fault for not checking the bag on the spot. A part of me keeps telling myself that I need to get in the habit of checking my bags every time, but the other part tells me that I shouldn't have to if I have any kind of faith in the establishments I'm visiting. Clearly, I shouldn't expect too much. Having said that, they were very good about getting back to me and making it right for the following time I visited. I decided to haul my family and dine in third time around. I had spoken to a manager whom told me to come in and tell them about my phone conversation and they'd make it right, which is exactly what they did. They were more than generous about taking off a few bucks off my order to compensate for their mistakes last time. So no complaints there. However, my issue this time was about the food themselves. Wife remembered a bite of the fish dinner last time was good and decided to get it this time around, only to find it tasted like it was fried in old oil, giving it very strong oily aftertaste. My pork loin sandwich was good, and I'm not sure how my daughter felt about her chicken tenders. But the general feeling for the family was sorta.... meh. I do remember their butter burgers being very good the first few times I've had them elsewhere, so I'll probably give the burgers a try one last time before deciding how I really feel about them. read more

The food here was just "ok". Wendy's has better burgers, the fries tasted like frozen Ore-ida fries. Nothing was special, or good enough to make me come back. Trying to find the entrance was a challenge. There were tons of orange cones blocking your entrance. When you order at the drive-thru, be prepared for a 20 minute wait. Expect extremely rude & incompetent employees. read more

After waiting for like 20 mins get home and don't have all our food. We spent $50 for them to not give us all our food. I call the store bc we live 10-15mins away no answer. So ridiculous considering the amount of money spent. She got sold on a Culver's tv commercial showing their fish dinners, so I picked up a 3 pc cod and 10 pc shrimp dinner march 16 $26. The shrimp were okay similar to the frozen bread crumbed variety but larger. The battered cod was excellent but the batter suffered a bit due to takeout. Next time we'll eat in and share one 3 pc cod dinner. It was the best fish we've had in a very long time. The restaurant layout and appearance was very nice and looked comfortable. Parking was very convenient, handicap and veterans at the entrance sidewalk. Driveways were clumsy and partially blocked with traffic cones????. Service was very good with the staff in good spirits and polite. Cleanliness seemed more than adequate however I did not visit the restroom. He did not greet any customer, acted like he was being bothered by all of us and didn't actually end the conversation, just sort of meandered away from the counter. So I order a six piece shrimp and a ten piece shrimp I ask for 4 cocktail sauces. They charge me .35 per cocktail sauce. But told me two comes with it. So that means I should only got charged for two. She tried to charge me for four. As small as the cocktail sauces are... I WILL NEVER COME SPEND MY GSRD EARNED MONEY HERE AGAIN . First time at a Culver's, and not impressed. The meat patty on the butter burger was smaller than a Jr Hamburger at McDonald's, and the bun was very floury. Pretty expensive for such a small piece of meat. The dining room was littered with napkins and straw wrappers, and as employees delivered orders to tables and cars, not one of them stopped to pick anything up off the floor. Just tried drive through at Culver's at Springmeadows. The drive through line was pretty long but went relatively fast. I ordered the cod sandwich basket that came with fries and a drink for $8.99 which I thought was pricey. The sandwich was very good, crinkle fries were meh. I got extra sides of tartar sauce with no hassle and no charge. The best part was the chocolate Heath crunch custard ice cream for $2.69. Delicious! read more

Food is good and usually comes out at a decent time considering how busy it is. Currently in the drive-thru line and have been for 40 minutes, and they are now closed. Line was not long at all when we got in, maybe 4 cars away from speaker. My car and the car in front of me are the last cars and have been here for 30-35 minutes just waiting. We only ordered custard. Guy just came out and said they forgot people were in line. Could see employees thru the giant windows putzing around. read more

Edit: Came back that night and they honored the missed curds no problem so I'm adjusting the rating to 4 stars. Easy 5 stars when they get their rhythm a little more in step. Culver's has good food and this location is no different but they really need to get past this "growing pain" phase. I've tried this location 3 or 4 times and only once has my order been correct on the first try. Most recently, and why I'm writing this review in the first place, I got the chicken tender combo and upgraded my side to a large order of cheese curds and a friend of mine got the fish with regular curds and the chili supreme as his sides plus a strawberry shake as his drink. After waiting a while, as usual, they forgot the shake which I noticed and should have been my first and only clue necessary to check and make sure everything was correct in the bag but I didn't so I guess that part is on me for missing the writing on the wall. Back to the office, my friend got fries instead of curds and the correct chili and I got nothing but 4 tenders. A long wait is one thing and even understandable all things considered but it's incredibly frustrating to pay $30 for two meals only for half the order to either be incorrect or missing entirely after that long of a wait as well. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because the food quality is genuinely good and worth the price they just really need to work on consistency. read more

We ate at the Holland, Ohio Culver's for the first time today. (We have eaten at other Culver's previously.) The service was good. The prices were good. The food, however, was just OK. The fries were quite good and fresh but the sandwiches were sloppily made with only a small dab of ketchup and mustard in the middle of the bun. We also got Concrete Mixers. They were very soft and runny. They tasted great but they should have been more firm. We could have drunk them. We aren't likely to visit this particular Culver's again. read more
