    So very true...

Culver's is my fave fast food stop. I will drive out of my way to a Culver's whenever I have a hankering for fast food. Service is always efficient, and staff members seem to enjoy their job. My go-to is the Altantic Cod Filet Sandwich basket. Sometimes with fries, steamed veggies, or pretzel bites. The butter burgers are also very good. Fairly priced for the quality and portion sizes. Once in a while, you gotta splurge for their Concrete Mixer, Shake, or Malt. Good selection of pint of ice cream / custard yogurt.

Your typical Culver's. This one was very busy because it's in the same parking lot as a large shopping mall nearby. I always get the mushroom and Swiss burger and cheese curds, and my boyfriend gets the same burger, but in double size, and pretzel bites, and then we share the sides. Even though they were busy, we got our food within ten minutes after ordering, which was nice. I'd stop at this Culver's again on the way to Indiana, which is where we are going today.

The staff here was working SUPER hard! I give them all 5 stars. But the wait tonight (Friday, 7 pm) was a doozy. The line inside was all the way to the back of the dining room. There were 2 of the 3 registers open, and one poor girl who appeared to be solely responsible for filling all in-person orders. The drive through line was really long, too! The workers had to keep walking out into the cold to deliver orders to cars pulled up all around the restaurant. The food was good, and I'm delighted they offer a vegetarian burger AND the option for a gluten-free bun for just a dollar more. 4 stars! But the 14 minute wait for my burger- on top of the long wait in line to order- and the messy condiments bar with a broken ketchup dispenser, and only 2 staffers masked, bumps the overall score down to a 3. I'd definitely return next time I'm in Toledo. It is the only restaurant within walking distance of this hotel. But it's also really nice to see a gluten-free veggie option at a fast food place, so thanks for that!! Again, shout out to the hard-working/over-worked team here. I think they could increase staffing by 50% on Friday nights, might help with the lines. Or not. This is really the only fast food place in the area it seems, so lines might just be part of the deal.

A great place to get a fish sandwich, or a double cheeseburger with real cheese. We go there about three to four times a month.

It's in a shopping Center Plaza kind of off of the main road. I have been before but just for a beer. We sat at the bar area and the bartender was really nice. Sorry I didn't get her name. You can tell there's a lot of regulars that come here but we were treated just the same. They have about 10 taps and had a few ipas on there for me. What I really like is the prices. An IPA for $5? Can't hardly find that anymore. So we had two rounds of beer each and got two appetizers. I spinach dip and some pepperoni egg rolls. Both were actually really good. Spinach dip could use some more seasoning but that just seems to be the case almost everywhere anymore. Food came out fast and was delivered hot. Beer was Ice cold. It's kind of a small spot so you're either going to sit at the bar or at one of the few tables that are around the bar area. Lots of TVs around the bar. $31 for both of us. I do recommend.

They were friendly, and the menu is simple, and just varied enough to make sure there are options but that every option can be perfectly executed. speaking of perfect, we did not get a burger, but I heard the guy behind me say "my first bite was perfect" as he tore into a burger that looked massive and juicy and just as perfect as he described. I'm not going to lie, we opted out of burgers because we thought we were going to a recently opened Korean corn dog place. When we got there, they were sold out and needed to shut down for a few hours- so we came in as a consolation prize. We decided to come in here and try some Korean barbecue wings, potato bombs, fries, and spring rolls. We decided to eat our way through the appetizer menu. The chile relleno spring rolls are decent in terms of flavor, but they are very small to be charging over two dollars apiece for them. Sadly, I didn't expect expecting it to be piping hot, it was lukewarm inside. Could have a little more spice to it as well. same issue with potato bombs. The flavor is good, could use a little more seasoning- but it wasn't hot enough in the middle. I think maybe they need to adjust their fryer temperature because the outside was very well done and the inside was not quite warm enough. Also, they brought everything out one piece at a time. First came the spring rolls. Over five minutes later came the potato bombs.... the food trickling out when it all came from the same fryer was weird. But the same person who took our order did deliver the food to the table each time. It's not exactly a sit down and get some type of restaurant so that was a very nice touch. It's probably more of a three star experience- but I'm being generous because we didn't order any of the things that they're actually known for and those burgers coming out looked stellar.

I enjoyed the burger lettuce. The fries were basic but good and the ketchup was of good quality. It means a few other things too, but these top my personal list. Chicago Post Cafe does at least two of these items very well. Today, I had the Italian Beef Sandwich with hot peppers and marinade on the side. Although hard to eat (the damned things falls apart too easily), it was fantastic. I've had more than a few of these, in Chicago none the less, and this version is honestly one of the best. It's better than Portillo's, and almost as good as Johnie's. Choose your peppers...hot, mild, and/or sweet! Plan to use your fingers to get what falls off the roll, because you won't want to waste a single morsel. Drink the marinade/dip while you're at it. The menu is pretty extensive, and breakfast seems to be featured. I saw another customer's plate, and her bacon, eggs, and pancake looked incredible. The place is small and a little tight, but you can eat in-house. Only one table seats more than 2. Service was fast and friendly. Very friendly. Yeah, I am remiss. I really should be eating here more often. Strictly breakfast and lunch. 5 stars for now.

We only waited about 15 - 20 mins. In the meantime, we chatted with the locals, who told us how often they came here just to eat the pies. When we got seated, the first thing we ordered and got started on were the AMAZING pies (chocolate PB for me and custard for my husband). Oh my God, they were out of the world yummy! We got to watch the ladies on the grill as they made the food. My husband ordered he Swiss steak and I had the double hamburger with all the fixings. The food is great but so are the people who work here --they are just so friendly, have worked here for years and truly care. You don't see this anymore. I realized however that I didn't realize the challenges that elderly/disabled people face when dining out. I had taken my mom to her cardiologist and he suggested that I take my mom out for a late lunch- which I enthusiastically embraced. Upon arriving at My Way Bistro, we were able to park in a handicapped parking spot with a slope to the sidewalk, which was helpful to my mom, who relies upon a walker for mobility. Upon arriving inside the restaurant, we were given our choice of booths or tables. I never realized before that the tables and booths are very high for someone with limited ability to lift their arms. There were no other options that we saw and my mom did her best to settle into a booth that I found comfortable but the table was clearly too high for my mom. She was a great sport however and made do with the high tabled booth. My mom ordered a lamb gyro with fries and I ordered my usual Georgia Reuben with fries. My mom was very pleased with her gyro. It had lots of vegetables and meat, and she said the tszazicki (sp?) sauce was delicious. She also enjoyed the fries. I loved my Georgia Reuben because the cole slaw has a kick of black pepper and other ingredients that make it taste amazing. The homemade Thousand Island dressing was soooo delicious! I was a little disappointed in the fries because they were fried more than I prefer but were still good. Best of all, we both took home leftovers! Seriously, the plates couldn't adequately support the generous portions of food with heaping amounts of fries- and I say that as a good thing! The ambiance is that of an upscale sports bar, but was pretty quiet when we were there, even though screens were turned on. Our server was very responsive and efficient. Overall a great experience and I definitely recommend checking out My Way Bistro for amazing sandwiches (also offer salads that I haven't yet tried) that are levels up from typical bar food.

There was a large group of people on our side of the restaurant that seemed to know one another. They were rather boisterous and seemed to have consumed a fair amount of alcohol. Even witnessed a middle aged woman who could hardly walk out on her own. Prior to her bumper-pool walking style on the way out, as she was seated, she hoisted up her leg and placed her heel on the man's shoulder she was with. Mercy! Alcohol can cause strange events to happen. We both ordered the Blackened Salmon Quinoa Salad with the Walnut Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing. Salad cost $18. To me, the salmon portion was a bit smaller than anticipated, but had a good blacked spiced mix and done very nicely.
