Look thru my reviews and out of hundred's, you won't see many two star reviews. I love Jersey Mike's sandwiches, but the people who work at this location are trained to make sandwiches that make it nearly impossible to order. If you get two sandwiches, they bounce back and forth and it's super confusing. I got mine "Mikes Way" and the staff DRENCHED the sandwich with the oil mixture and after driving for 10 minutes only, the sandwich was completely soggy and I couldn't eat it. My husband was influenced by Danny Devito's commercial for this place. So we stopped in on our way home from work a couple of months ago. He was looking forward to it but was not impressed by his Italian sandwich. It didn't compare to his favorite at Jimmy John's. My Famous Philly with mushrooms was good, but I've had better. When we first walked in, the girl making sandwiches looked up at us but didn't smile or say anything for an awkward amount of time. After we sat with our food, other customers walked in and they were quickly and cheerfully greeted by another guy. He loudly said hello and even goodbye when they left. Felt like discrimination. Super Bowl Sunday 2/8 ordered a #6 with extra mikes way, hot chopped relish and mayo. What I received was a sandwich without mikes way, mayo , hot chopped pepper relish. First things first, so much cross contanimation. The workers use the same gloves for everything: touching meat, touching cheese, touching veggies, etc. In fact I watch them slice cheese on the same machine as the meat. There is no way they can't afford tongs for the veggies. Worse would be they would put a tomato on the sandwich, not like it, take it off, and put it back with the rest of the tomatoes. How has the health department not catch this? Next the sub. I orderded the tuna, and I am impressed that with everything added there was no flavor. How can they make it so bland? Like they added salt and pepper and herbs, and still nothing. Even the bread, which was rosemary and parmesan, had not flavor. I will give them 2 stars for service (everyone was polite and friendly) and the chocolate chip cookie was good. read more

I absolutely love their sandwiches. I've had the togos, had the subways. There is something about these jersey mikes sandwiches that has me wanting to go often. My favorite is the turkey with provolone. They do freshly sliced turkey and thinly fresh provolone. My wife gets the Philly cheese and loves that! It might be a little pricier than some sandwich places, but the quality is worth it. Our service has been on point each time. Very quick and plenty of employees. I was telling a friend over the weekend that The Cheesesteak Shop in Petaluma closed recently, and I was upset that I drove to Petaluma from Windsor to get one. He told me Jersey Mike's has cheesesteaks, so I went today since I work nearby the SR Ave one... What a total disappointment. Mike's way is suppose to have "spices". My cheesesteak was so bland, and tasteless. Hubby loves sandwiches and I do not, but sometimes he caves to my food needs and other times I cave to his, and on one of those particular days, we ended up here. I had noted on one day in SR that I saw this going in and we made a mental note of it for the day his sandwich urge came up. When we arrived, there were about 4 people ahead of us in line. First impression was horrible- the ground behind the counter had dirty discarded gloves, food pieces all over, and one of the guys behind the counter was swearing to himself about a customer's order. The people behind the counter were sorely understaffed/undertrained/overly high, and the assembly line was a complete disaster. I watched as the same guy arranged and rearranged a group of 5 or 6 subs and made literally zero progress the entire time we were there. Another guy complained directly to us about another customer's order, and a third guy just kept swearing to himself, but loudly for all of us to hear. Hubby grimaced to me when they said they were out of basically the main parts of their vegetarian sando, so we ended up waiting all that time for just his, and to witness the hot mess that was happening behind the counter. If I were the manager of this location, I'd pull these three and place them squarely in retraining. Also, I'd recommend not coming into work baked, and although we're a military family and have been around a lot of profanity, this is a place lots of folx go, and kids were there, so I'd definitely squash the swearing to a minimum. Overall, I've never been a fan of Jersey Mike's, but this one was hands down the worst location of this chain that I have ever visited. Parking lot was a chaotic mess- getting in there and out of the parking lot is hectic and stressful even at not peak hours. Even though hubby's sando was ok, we watched at least 7 sandos go out that were wrong, and with the lack of hygiene, training, and organization behind the counter, we will definitely be taking our subs and sando business elsewhere. I had Jersey Mike's earlier this week for the first time when my office catered in some sandwiches. I had the absolute joy of eating their classic Italian sub and I have thought about that sandwich non-stop ever since!! I went back this afternoon to pick up two for my husband and me. The service was super friendly and I was in and out in no time. Love that they slice all their meats and cheeses right there as they're preparing your sandwich. This is a new location and since I got some coupons I decided to swing by. I had a coupon for buy 1 sub and get the second one for $2.99. Not a bad deal. I ordered the Turkey and Provolone Sub and the Mike's Famous Philly sub. My hubby liked his Turkey sandwich but my Philly sub was not the best. It did not have the flavor I was looking for, the steak was pretty bland. I have to say the service at this location was good, they also have a drive thru option. The guy that made my sandwich was friendly and did my orders correctly and the cashier was quick and efficient. Location was clean and welcoming and the several tables they had were filled with customers. Jersey Sub in my opinion is a step up from Subway and Togos. Quality is better and I think taste wise too. Went here on August 25th at the behest of my friend who used to go to the original in New Jersey. Two of us ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and the bun to meat/veggie ratio was off. Way too much bread, not enough meat or veggies, plenty of cheese though. My friend and my wife ordered an Italian sub and said it was good. Friendly staff, but the tray of sub bread on the floor where you stand in line was off putting as were the flies. Not much room to dine inside or outside. Pricey for what you get. read more

Friendly, service with a smile, the gentleman in charge helped us sign up for the rewards program and just was friendly to ensure our experience / sandwiches met expectations. Compared to other "fast food sandwich chains" this is now one of our favs. Lots of flavor, leave full but not like your carrying a brick. I had a veggie sandwich, added turkey, no Swiss, done mikes way. Only complaint .. wish you were in Windsor! While we were visiting SR one day we made a mental note to go in and grab a sub! Because what's better than a cold sandwich on a hot day? When we first arrived there was about 2 people ahead of us in line. First impression was amazing. The counters were clean, the employees were nice and the line was moving right along nicely. The people behind the counter were trained well and working together to move the orders quickly. I would assume since it wasn't the lunch or dinner rush, the store was a little cleaner as they had an extra staff member to assist on clean up. I watched the same guy arrange a group of sandwiches for what I assume was a catering order, I asked him and he told me it was a catering order! I was surprised to learn that jersey mikes does catering! Imagine a huge catering order being made and these hardworking employees are making sure that customers in line get taken care of quickly while juggling these huge orders! It's amazing! Wifey was so stoked to learn they had a new veggie sando that she could order! To witness the order being made to perfection was quite delightful. If I were the manager for this location I would pat yourself and the team on the back as the seem less operation made it extremely easy to get in and get our fresh baked sandos. Overall, we've always been a fan of Jersey Mikes but this location is hands down is the best in SR. Parking was pretty easy considering we live in CA and also that Jersey Mikes has no control of the Starbucks or 7/11 traffic next door. I had never been to a Jersey Mike's and thought that if guve it a try. I saw that you can make any of the sandwiches into a bowl and I couldn't wait. I ordered online so It could be ready when I got there. Kind of hidden on the side of a Starbucks but they had customers and seem to have other online orders. Place is small but clean. I did notice 1 guy doing most of the work and seemed to be falling behind so I hope they get some more/better help. I got the Original Italian in a bowl and loved it. I was surprised when I found this location, it's near the Costco I go to for gas. It's off in the cut and you can easily miss it if your not paying attention. I love a good sourdough sandwich, I usually go to Petaluma, but this place has some of the best sandwiches and it's open late. The bread, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles were very fresh, it was a scorcher that day so this made me feel like I was close to heaven. The two guys that were there was very courteous and friendly even though it was near closing. You have to save the best for last. The oil & vinegar was like putting a cherry on top of the ice cream sundae! I get a sub from Jersey Mike's at least once a week. Love earning points for free subs. My favorite is the #13, Original Italian, Mike's way with Mayo and CPR. As; a kid growing up in Maryland, I remember going to White House Subs in New Jersey, on the way to Atlantic City. The #13 is as close to the Italian as I have found here in California. I love the fact that the sandwich people remember who I am, and remember what I usually order. Makes me feel like a valued customer and they appreciate my business. The store is always clean and orderly - even when it's busy! I've been to all of Alex & Matt's local stores, some small and some bigger than others.
