We asked our server about the menu and he said everything was locally sourced. Their burgers and meats are hormone and antibiotic-free Sonoma Mountain Beef burgers, chicken, turkey burgers. ...and they have plant-based Beyond Burger. A plus! Great easy way to takeout and eat at home. Ordered online and it was easy to customize my burgers. My wife wanted garlic fries and they all conveniently fit in the to go box. When we got there, the staff was friendly and found our order was ready. They checked to make sure our extra sauces were in there and off we went. The burger was cooked perfectly, with a little pink in the middle. The sauce was creamy and tangy, giving the burger more texture. The tomatoes and lettuce added a fresh, crisp bite. The garlic fries were crispy and the freshly cooked garlic gave them the perfect amount of mild, savory and slightly sweet flavor. One of our favorite places for burgers and fries. read more

One person in our group of five had eaten here before and recommended it since we needed a lunch spot in Bennett Valley. This location has only been open a couple months but it looks like it has already been discovered. We saw a regular flow of customers coming in. You order at the counter, they call out your name when your order is ready. They have self-serve drinks and pickles (slices and wedges). A sweet employee named Max took my order. He was super nice, helpful and outgoing. My friend and I ordered their lunch special which is a ¼ lb burger with fries and a drink ($10.99). The others ordered a veggie sandwich, turkey burger and a Sonoma hot chicken burger. When I went to pick up my order, Max offered a large list of special sauces. What a nice touch! My burger had a large slice of tomato and lettuce along with their "awesome sauce." We all enjoyed our lunches and their fries are outstanding, hot and crispy on the outside. We all discussed whose fries we like the most and Acme's came up either on top or tied for the top spot. Nice job! You can dine with your furry friend as they have a few tables outside. A nice addition to the Safeway shopping center with plenty of parking. read more

I've come to Acme 2x since they opened. It takes a little getting used to - they have a kiosk to order at or a cashier. I ordered a burger with grilled onions, avocado, egg, cheese. So good. The chipotle sauce was tasty too. I also ordered an eggnog shake which was honestly heavenly, assuming you are in the yes eggnog camp. One time they accidentally put thousand island and lettuce on the burger - they quickly remade it when I pointed out the mistake. It looked beautiful so I took a pic. A great burger starts with the bun. Yes the meat is important of course but a poorly made bun kills it. This place had the most incredible bun - soft, lightly chewy, flavorful, tasted him made. The portions were large and a very tasty hamburger to boot. Definitely going back. read more

getting my hair done across the street and my hairdresser recommended me to try this place. I've been dying to try Acme burger. And this location just opened over a month ago. Customer service was superb, super friendly and fast service. They even offered me a glass of water while I waited for my burger to go. The burger was juicy and delicious and just like a typical burger place you have to pay for extra toppings. There are some tables inside the restaurant there's tables outside the restaurant for warmer nights and days. I will definitely try the other burgers on their menu as well as french fries etc.. Came specifically for their lunch special that consists of an Acme burger, fries, and a soft drink for $10.99. Extras and upgrades at an additional charge. The burger itself was quite good. I was not impressed with their shoestring fries, I did upgrade to the chili cheese fries but seemed the fries were cooked too long. Perhaps I'll try the tots on a future visit. I was also not a fan of the cardboard box the meal was served in for dining in. I'd much prefer a regular tray for comfortable eating. Overall for the value it is worth a visit. read more

I was thoroughly disappointed with the fish and chips dinner. I ordered two dinners, and both were very disappointing. The fish looked like it had been fried in old, dirty oil because it was extremely dark and unappetizing. Instead of receiving two actual fish fillets, each dinner came with what appeared to be one fillet cut lengthwise in half. The pieces were so small they looked more like chicken strips than fish fillets. The meal looked nothing like the picture on the menu, which was very misleading. I expected a quality fish and chips dinner, but what I received was poor in both appearance and portion size. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering this again. I usually reserve five stars for upscale restaurants, shops ect...but for sure today's experience and food at Acme gets them five stars. We ordered three specials. We are always very specific, no sauce, dry and raw onions on our hamburgers. We have eaten there several times and think everyone who works there is wonderful and service always perfect. This was no exception. Ordered three specials no sauce on the burgers with raw onions. We got the order went outside to eat, and unfortunately all three burgers had sauce. I took them back to the counter and the wonderful manager I do believe apologized and acknowledged she knows how we order our sandwiches and puts in the order to have them redone. We sat down again and approx 10 min later she brought them to us and again was so apologetic and offered us a treat and we accepted her generous offer. Having Acme in Bennett valley is a great addition and with such caring staff and delicious food they are bound to be here for the duration. Bravo!!!!! read more

The location was a bit weird to me, I think there were two different entry doors that made it a little confusing. Then inside, I wasn't sure if I had to use the iPad to order or the cashier. After we paid on the iPad we found out about the senior day discount that would have applied to my dad if I we knew. The food was fine, nothing to write home about. Disappointing. Over priced fast food burger joint. Limp lettuce, greasy burger, usual fare for every burger place in Santa Rosa. They all suck, with two exceptions: Max's Deli Cafe, and Ozzie's Burgers. Generally, food in Santa Rosa is mediocre. Chinese take-out, the same. read more

So happy to have a burger place back in the neighborhood. The old place I will not name was not good and was dirty and drab. When Acme took over and remodeled it, what a difference, it's clean and bright inside. The staff are so friendly and seem to actually enjoy their work place. Food is decent I'm not going to complain at all. I loved every burger I've gotten. The French fries are great as well. My only complaint, someone recommended the fish and chips which if good would have been a no brainer in the neighborhood because I travel far and wide for good fish and chips. Unfortunately it wasn't good. But that's ok I loved every burger the burgers and I will be back. And their lunch time special is a very good deal in these over priced times. read more

This place sucks in every possible way. 1. All they make is smashburgers. They do not know how to make them. * They have no texture. You want to remove moisture from the surface so they have crunch. (Steak Shack, I know I know.) These are just soggy lumps of gray dead flesh. There is a technique to making these right. Fuggedabodit. * They use really cheap meat. Think multiple pieces of gristle through which you have to chew. No flavor whatsoever. They buy the cheapest cuts, probably ground round (and I bought the more expensive "organic version") and grind it up. Awful. Just awful. God help you if you buy the regular beef. Come to think of it, it's probably the same. Not sure it even came from a cow. Not fatty enough to be possum. 2. Ripoff: they don't post the beer prices. What the hell. I bought a cup of beer. Guess what... $12 dollars!!! What is it, chateauneuf du pape? Most expensive beer of my life. It was good beer, though they had nothing to do with that. 3. Run by moron robots: Behind the register is a promotional clock from Coca-Cola. I ordered a Coke. Pepsi is too sweet for me. Guess what? They don't serve Coke. The food was great just missing the coleslaw and tarter sauce for the fish and chips. The onion rings were delicious as were the fries. The buttermilk fried chicken tenders were delicious as well. I am an admitted Acme burger fan! Big time. So going into their newest location and being welcomed by their signature warm and comforting greeting felt like coming home. Just as expected, everything we ordered delivered. I love the seasoning they use on their burgers and their milkshakes, IMHO, are the best in Sonoma County! The hamburgers were good, but the onion rings were outstanding! I can't say enough about the customer service. They replaced my companions burger because they could taste a spice that disagrees with (common spice that most people don't even notice). They were very gracious and understanding.
