    #11 Stickball Special

Yum. It's perfect every single time. I get the stick ball special mikes way with pickles, mayo, and extra honey mustard. I always get it to-go. I don't like eating in small public spaces lol. Service is pretty fast most of the time as well, they're efficient.

This North Seattle Jersey Mike's is located in the former Jimmy John's, next door to Pop Pop Street Thai Food. I had stopped by back on 7/26/22, but me and others were turned away because they ran out of bread an hour before closing. After a long day without breakfast or lunch, I stopped by around 2pm (8/10/22). One thing I noticed is how well staffed this site is. Made to order subs with fresh ingredients. Friendly, efficient service too. I used a coupon for a BOGO free regular sub purchase. I placed a takeout order for #13 The Original Italian and #17 Mike's Famous Philly. The #13 was also requested Mike's Way which added onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and shakes of spices, and oil and vinegar. Totally hits the spot! Both orders were generously assembled on fresh bread, with choices included white, wheat, rosemary parmesan, or Udi's gluten free. Any sub can also be prepped as a wrap or in a bowl. Both subs ordered were nicely wrapped and bagged for takeout. The #17 was devoured by The Homie and deemed well made, melty and toasty. There's also beverages, assorted chips, cookies, and Tastykake treats to supplement one's order. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating, plus parking availability. Of all the national chains, I prefer Jersey Mike's. This North Seattle/Bitter Lake location is also very convenient and closer to home. The other site is further north on 99/Aurora near the Shoreline Costco.

A little pricey but plenty of promos. Online ordering is easy and fast. Food is fresh and made to order.

Bonus: this spot is kosher! Potato Latkes (5/5): These latkes are thick boys and fried up so they're piping hot when they hit the table. Because of their size, you really get the contrast of the hard crunch on the outside with super fluffy potato inside. So good we immediately turned around and ordered more. Chocolate Babka (2/5): This was truly the only miss I've had here. Unfortunately, the babka just really dries out after it's been sliced, which is a shame because it's just gorgeous with generous swirls of chocolate inside. Reuben (5/5): I really thought their pastrami couldn't be beat, but the brisket is dare I say better? Just as tender and feels a bit less fatty, so it's a little more crushable. Tip: go for the seeded rye over the marbled rye; something about the marbled rye just falls apart a bit more with the juices of the meat, though it's still delicious! Black & White Cookies (4/5): I expected this to be cloyingly sweet, but this was actually scrumptious with some fresh lemon flavor in the cookie itself. Absolutely massive as well.

Do you happen to live in Washington and miss said pastrami sando? My friend, I have good news for you. Dingfelder's pastrami is a dead ringer for that sandwich: huge slices of melt-in-your-mouth pastrami, regular and half sour pickles, and all the other accoutrements you'd expect from a legit Jewish deli. This place doesn't screw around. If you want a great, hearty, flavor-packed sandwich, this is one of the best places to throw your money. But, as others have pointed out, it's no cheap date: expect to pay over $20 for one of those mighty pastrami sandwiches. This isn't Subway so you're not saving money by eating here, but after one bite of their pastrami you'll understand why you're paying so much. Quality isn't cheap. I'd say this place is tied with Tat's Deli for the best sandwiches in Seattle.

Wings and fries are fantastic. There's almost always a line, at least during lunch. There's inside seating and a few tables outside. Location is awesome. I'd heard they were good, but holy smokes, I didn't realize they would be *that* good. Here are my recommendations: - Get the Tatstrami. Its combination of flavors is so freaking good. - Order online and then sweep in and pick it up. Since the place does most of its business during lunchtime, there's always a line and this is a way to skip that. If you want to venture beyond a pastrami sandwich, I highly recommend the chicken cheesesteak. While I normally opt for beef when it comes to cheesesteaks, Tat's actually isn't amazing but their chicken one is. So get that instead. In short, this is tied with Dingfelders for the best sandwich in Seattle. Pay it a visit and bring your appetite.
