Here is another review. Came in this time to order. Took it home to find out I did not get what I ordered. I called 5 times no pick up until the 6th time. The manager was VERY RUDE. Did not own the mistake. I got there to get a new sub and it was not ready. Was there today at noon with my son. Ordered 2 subs. Very unfriendly staff. I tried paying with a large bill and I was told I wasn't allowed. To which I replied this is all I have and why isn't this posted before you order, not a small note on the register. The person in charge was scowling at me over my response and told me that they cut me a break for allowing me to pay with cash. This could of went so many ways but as someone who teaches customer service skills, I couldn't understand the level of disrespect from staff here. I will no longer order here for my family, for corporate events or recommend JM's for anyone. Thought it was unusual the place was empty at lunch, now I know why. Whoever the female supervisor/manager is? Needs some customer relationship training. Not my favorite sub spot, but their Chipotle cheesesteak subs are the best of the ones I've tried at Jersey Mike's. The ones I would skip are the chicken cheesesteak and the Italian. My biggest complaint is the bread--it's not soft or flavorful. The ratio of filling and bread is always off because the bread is just too much. read more

Went in for my free regular birthday sub (on my actual birthday( and was told that even though I've been a member for years that they could not do it. Offered to show my ID for proof and was one of the reasons I had went in for the day. The employee that helped me was quite rude and asked if I had my ID to proceed to tell me there's nothing she could do.... Not quite the way I would've handled the situation or tried to add some kind of discount. We stopped in to eat a sandwich while waiting on cvs to fill a script! There were 2 young men and a young lady working! The one young man took our order, he was pleasant and friendly! The place was very clean even tho they said they had just been mobbed! He made the best Philly Sammy ever and asked us to let him know how it was! He even gave us a cookie for being the nicest customers of the day! I wish I knew the young man's name although all 3 were super nice, clean cut and friendly young adults!! I have ordered and eaten well over a hundred subs from this location since they opened and have never had a bad experience. I usually get the giant Italian with double meat made Mike's way. Today I wasn't in the mood for the carbs so I ordered the Italian tub made Mike's way. It's basically the sub in a plastic container without the bread with extra lettuce. I was on my way back to Fleming Island, FL and stopped in for a mini Italian to-go and I finally was able to eat it a ways down and it was AMAZING!!!! Thank you for an awesome drive back while I was indulging my mini Italian. I would recommend this spot to all my friends in New Port Richey. Great location, and the subs and service are always fantastic. The actual restaurant is clean and inviting. I often eat my sandwich here to relax a minute before heading back out into the world. If you've never been to a Jersey Mikes, and like sandwiches, you're missing out. They have cold subs, hot subs, and even wraps. The subs are really made fresh to order. When you order your sub, they slice your meats right there in front of you. I recommend getting any cold sub "Mike's Way." That adds onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil, and a blend of spices. Definitely far superior to that "other" sub shop. My favorite is the #5 Mike's way. Stop on in and sub it up. This location recently open up near my work. The place has a clean new feeling to it. I usually get a steak and cheese sandwich. I eat here when I am in a rush and need to pick something up really quick. I am glad they open up the store near work since there isnt really much to eat around here. I had been a regular at JM for the last six months, enjoying the sandwiches but often seeing sub-par service...what I would normally rate three stars...But, last Wednesay was the worst. I was in line behind a customer that ordered a tuna salad sandwich. The JM employee made the sandwich, but left copious amounts on tuna salad on the counter. After I ordered my #8, the JM employee started to cut my bread while grinding it into the remaining tuna salad. I explained I would appreciate a clean roll and she put the bread to the side. The manager on duty came over and started making the sandwich with the same bread. I explained to him it had been sitting on the tuna and would appreciate a new roll. The manager, with a cocky attitude, threw the roll into the trash and mumbled what sounded to be a cuss word. Given the manager's attitude, I left and attempted to call JM corporate with no answer. Having grown up in Belmar, NJ and eaten at the Original Mike's Subs. Got a little nostalgia seeing this place and wanted to try it. Maybe it's just this location but. The quality and taste is a long way from Jersey. The bread was the best thing, very soft and delicious. My family and I are still looking for the meat and cheese. My sub looked really good, but was more lettuce, onion and tomato than anything. Like a sub salad. The Mike's Way red wine vinegar and oil with spices was like the original and "old school". Other than that, im gonna try a different location. Even though nothing will ever compare to Mike's in Belmar, NJ from the neighborhood where we all knew each other and we would get the "hook up", they knew your sub before you ordered it and you felt like you were eating with Family. read more

I have to say this place is pretty good for a Florida sub place. Actually, it's probably the best Italian sub I've had in Florida... as they're pretty hard to come by. Yes of course I'm from Jersey.... but I've been spoiled by Lotitos! Staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. I had the classic Italian. Just enough meat and your choice of toppings which the young lady piled on to my liking, including hot peppers. Not sure why they spell cappacola.... cappacuolo though. I mean it's called Jersey Mikes... so they should know how to spell it! lol I'm going back to THIS location for sure. read more

I go to this JM due to its close to where I work and we order food almost daily. Well this is the 5th time and the last time I get a sub from here. Every time the sub is wrong. I'm allergic to pork which I always tell them and I order the same sandwich turkey and roastbeef and yet every time they put bacon on it. Then today they put ham on it. I give up getting a sub from here with the correct meat. And of course I usually get delivery so not only are the trying to kill me I cant take it back due to it being delivered. They have lost a good customer as well as my staff who also wont order from there anymore. read more

I drove 35 minutes south for a JMs sub because of the YELP reviews. I AM fROM JERSEY. Born and raised. I will NOT go back. I have been to the original JMs in Point Pleasant, NJ. They are delicious. Here, the roast beef sub had one layer of cheese, one layer of roast beef and a lot of mayo & lettuce. Really? It was a mayo sub. No beef or cheese was detectable. As a rule, JMs produce their own bread and roast beef. In Jersey, the sub is so thick and delicious with meat, cheese and condiments. Florida is so stingy? It was actually gross. I bought 5 whole subs, $63 worth, all had barely any meat and cheese. Will never go back. After a couple bites, I had to go to my refrigerator and take out cold cuts to add to the JMs sub so it was edible. I had better subs from Publix last week. If you think these are good subs, you have never had a real jersey sub. read more

Nice and clean looking, but of course they just opened. I ordered a hot Grilled Pastrami Ruben, the sandwich was good and served quickly. Prices seem more expensive then subway across the street, a regular sub which is about the size of a subway 6 inch cost the same as a subway full sub. Otherwise I enjoyed it. read more

Awful customer service!!! I had my company cater from Jersey Mikes in Trinity for over $300 order and was not given my reward points for the order when I cashed out. When I called and asked about the points being missing they said they would add the points for me to my account. Instead they actually took points off my account but gave me 1 sub that day to make up for the mistake and said they would correct that mistake and add the missing points. I was still owed over 200 points. They did not add them or fix the mistake. When I called again they told me the GM would call me to fix. No call. I called again and they stated the GM said they gave coupons to make up for it. This never happened. I explained to them that I was not given any coupons and asked to have the GM call me. Again the GM refused to call me back or take my phone calls. I find this to be VERY unprofessional of the manager to not even speak to an unhappy customer and make the poor counter girl deal with it and to just bold face lie about the solution. I will NEVER cater or order from here again. UPDATE: Jersey Mike's had a representative contact me today who is rectifying the situation. Carol was very pleasant and helpful. I still stand by my review that the particular store in Trinity has a GM who should handle customer issues instead of lying and refusing to return calls but at least the company itself addressed my concerns. The food is good and you always get the same quality each visit. The rewards are nice and it is very easy to get free food. Coupons come out frequently if you subscribe to their email club which will save you even more money. The best part is the staff that works at this location.
