Tom Terrific here with another honest review. I had a JJ gift card so i stopped into this location in New Port Richey. Nice people. Delicious food. The problem? One of my pet peeves. Twice they attempted to pad the bill. The first was asking if i wanted a drink. The second was asking if i wanted cheese and not being familiar with their whole menu or what came with sandwich #3 I said yes. But he failed to inform me that the cheese was a dollar extra. I was also surprised at the price of a short sandwich or what we would refer to as a half. It was over $9 with the cheese. It was a good sandwich but it wasn't a $9 sandwich. I'll put the blame on Biden for that but still it makes you think twice before you pull that money out of your own pocket. So, as nice as they were i find i'll be going to the JJ's in Palm Harbor. I use to get 3 go 4 subs a week then I had a complaint and all I got was an attitude with the manager, I asked why every-time I buy the same sub the meats are not the same it's like they toss whatever they grab in it so this makes the sub terrible I have not been there for 5 months and someone else ordered a sub it was terrible also. Delicious subs with one of a kind taste and they are done making it before you even get done paying. Subs so fast you freak is clearly an accurate motto for these guys. Easy to choose from menu with a good spread of choices from your customary subs to some creative ones. My fav speciality sub is beach club. Because I love avocados and cucumbers and putting them together on a sub with some turkey is an automatic win. The pleasant experience starts from when you walk in the door and are greeted by a friendly smile and the invigorating smell of fresh delicious bread baking. They also don't slack on meat on your sub by jamming more veggies in which a few other sub places are surely guilty of. Also one of the best 9'grain wheat breads I've had. Healthy option that is equally as delicious. I only wish there was more of them as they aren't exactly located all over the place. This is why when I pass one I make sure I detour to cure my JJ fix. I had never heard of Jimmy John's until we kept walking by the opening of this location - "Ooooh so many booths!" "So much red color...what will it be?!" - and then one day it was revealed - Jimmy John's! I was excited. I had never been to one, and it looked pretty cool. I love subs. I have a manly desire for a fantastic sandwich when I lay in bed at night. I regularly frolic with pastrami and mustard bottles in my dreams. Often times garlic bread will make an appearance, and the usual cast of course - assortments of cheese, sweet peppers, a little jalapeño on the side. But oh. My poor little heart. You can get NONE of these things at Jimmy John's. What do you mean you have no peppers? Why am I not allowed to order any veggies on the side? Seriously? ONLY PROVOLONE CHEESE? This is not a sandwich shop. Jimmy John's is even confused about what it is. They advertise "gourmet sandwiches", but when you get inside the menu board says "ok, so we don't have gourmet sandwiches". Oh real smooth, so you're admitting you lured us in with inaccurate advertising? Thanks. I am sad. If you are ok with a lack of veggies and relying on the taste of provolone cheese for every single sandwich they offer then I will say you will probably enjoy it. It did taste good, but I don't have time for boring. PROS: Bread was delicious. The guys working were really nice and super happy to be there. If you are into HORENDOUS flavored subs this is your spot!!! I have tried to give this place a chance twice, twice I say and they have proven they are the worse of the worse! I always get the 'Vito'. This time my bread was hard on the bottom the meat seemed old as it had began to dis-color. I noticed that from the first bite and ONLY bite. I had to throw it in the garbage. I've eaten here at another location in Jacksonville, Fl of which was very delicious. This particular location seems to serve hard bread and almost old meat. Very nice place decor wise. As for the food... Bread was good, but they are a bit skimpy on the meat. Even their "giant club sandwiches" that are supposed to have twice as much meat as their regular subs were no better than subway size wise. That being said, the sandwich was good. I used to get food from Jimmy John's when I lived in TN about five years ago. It was outstanding. Bread.....Great! Portions.... decent. Super fast delivery. Always enjoyable. Now I live in Port Richey, FL. And I see there's a Jimmy John's close by. I ordered & paid online. Delivery was super fast. Felt lucky at this point. Sadly, the sandwich was sub standard. I ordered the "Hunt club" with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo. When I ordered in TN, I always got cheese on my sub. No cheese & a very small amount of meat. Looked to be about 2 slices. The essential taste was there, mostly because of the bread. But portions were definitely different from what I'd had before. I'm not going back. They make good subs here. My mom loves the roast beef sub. So does my dad. I like three which are the italian sub minus capicola, the ham, or the turkey. I like my roast beef more rare then what they use. My family and I will definitely go back many more times. read more

By far the worst jimmy johns we have been to. Slow service on a slow day. You can tell all the employees are miserable and just want to go home making the experience extra special. The location is hard to get to on US-19 and difficult to get out as well being on a major highway, especially at lunchtime. Will not go back to this location however we do frequent other locations and will continue to do so. read more

Why this location is it listed is beyond me. Today was customer appreciation day for this location subs for $1 and the line was out of this world long but they were quick on their feet. Had never eaten from this location before so we thought we'd give it a try because we went by and it always smells so good the staff was awesome very friendly the store was clean there is no there wasn't even a fly in there. They're 8 inch subs are huge huge there was so much stuff on the sub can only eat half and then save the other half for dinner. All the ingredients for fresh all of the ingredients on my BLT were phenomenal and my husband had the roast beef which he said was one of the best roast beef sandwiches he's had in a long time. Regardless of the subs only being $1 today I think that now that we've tried it will go back and I highly recommend this place it's not that costly and it's worth your buck so bucks well spent here and great job guys will be seeing you soon. Food is average. This place definitely lacks veggies for sub toppings. They also do not have a big variety of types of bread. I like a nice multigrain sub but was forced to get plain white. Very unhappy first the female cashier had a nasty attitude we ordered four sandwiches she could not seem to get them right I was trying to be patient then they tried to give us three sandwiches the sandwich makers couldn't remember what they put on the sandwich to mark them correctly I had to tell them, told them there was one more sandwich. They made me repay for the sandwich I reordered the sandwich no tomato that's it lettuce and mayonnaise only it's really not that hard they still couldn't get it right. Got Home nothing on my sandwich but meat and cheese when I called them to let them know they have messed up again they proceeded to tell me that it was my fault that is how I ordered it and that is not how I ordered it I only ordered one like that proceeded to argue with me I put my husband on the phone he asked him are you telling me that it's our fault and the gentleman said yes and this was the manager on a Sunday will not go back foods not good enough to pay $25 for sandwiches and it take a half an hour to get them because they can't get the order right and it comes back down to the nasty cashier who did not ring it up correctly again think twice Publix subs Firehouse Jersey Mike's heck I'd rather go to Subway.
