She couldn't/wouldn't believe I paid, even w receipt in her hand. She looked at receipt then bags, then me a few times. I was so damn embarrassed as other people were laughing as they walked out. I said loudly, "I'm right next to you, and you didn't see me pay?!!!". She just mumbled and gave me the stink eye the whole way out of the store. No apology at all. Ironically, somebody could have walked w/o paying while she was harassing me. I was so embarrassed and flustered I missed several off ramps on I-95 and ended up in Selma.
