Best hometown food. Spinach artichoke dip is the best around. It's creamy and so tasty. The wings are nicely size and full of flavor. Their wings are far better than some of those franchise places. The burgers are delicious. Of your looking for a Friday fish fry. This is the place. I can't forget about the steak. Fresh & Seasoned to perfection. Stopped in between a wedding ceremony and reception. Had a few appetizers. The cheese fries were awesome. Loaded with cheese, bacon, onions, excellent flavor. The Anchises were solid as well and had tons of topping. Quesadilla was ok, nothing great but not bad. For many years we have really enjoyed Jersey's. The food has been great, the price is good, the staff is marvelous (there are several we ask for by name..Becca#1, Becca#2, Amy and Tarren the bartender always upbeat and friendly) but ( in life there is always a but ) lately there must have been a cook change. Some food is still great, others not so much. I hate when I take friends there and have to "edit" the menu for them. I hope it changes. We enjoy our visits there. read more

I ate here 3X's in one week so it must at least be solid. Service is friendly, food is good, and drinks very reasonable. I had the cajun chicken breast, BBQ chicken sandwich, andhalf-slab of ribs.... (3 different trips). The grilled veggies are excellent for a side choice. You get 2 slices of garlic toast with about anything you order. The Onion rings are not good so I would stay away from them. Cajun chicken breast = A- Half-slab of ribs = B BBQ chicken sandwich = B- Beer prices = A+ Good place with a friendly wait staff. The patrons are not as friendly as the Road Dawg wich is a negative, but there are a lot of out of towners from the hotels so I think everyone try's to stay in their click. Very helpful waitress. She made some excellent suggestions for appetizers. We had some cheese stuffed breadsticks that were awesome. Great beer selection. The booths along the side allow you to have a conversation with your companions. So many sports bars are just loud and wide open and you can't have a conversation. I had a salmon salad. It was good. Keep in mind I'm rating this as "how good was the bar food" vs. comparing it to fine dining. Stayed in Beloit for work, decided to try someplace close to the hotel. This place is hard to find but shares the west parking lot with Fairfield Inn. I got the chili, it was pretty good, had a good but not overpowering jalapeno bite to it. They will top it with cheese, tomatoes, and green onion, and ask if you want these. Server was very friendly and attentive, she was constantly on the move checking her customers. This looks like a great place to watch a game, tv's all around the walls flank two large projection screens. There is a large U shaped bar in the middle. Free hot popcorn is available from a machine. The chicken is very good the steaks are okay I had the bacon wrapped filet and I think it was a sirloin instead of a fillet but for $10 who can complain. The beer is ice cold but I wish they had breaded their chicken tenders and appetizers instead of buying them frozen in from a supplier. read more

When I'm in Beloit a couple times of year, I typically end up at Jersey's for dinner one night. The same was true earlier this week. Went there with some colleagues from work. Great that it is so close to the hotels that you can walk vs having to get into the car. Service was very good, friendly and attentive. My food was OK but not spectacular. The cheese sampler appetizers obviously came from a freezer bag, but that's not unexpected in a bar and they were good enough. I had the fried walley and steamed veggies. The fish was overcooked and dried out and the veggies were way past their prime on the steam table. In fact, you could not even taste the cranberries (at least I think that's what they were) in the veggies which would normally be a great touch. Hard to believe you can steam or cook the flavor completely out of a cranberry! My colleague's meals seemed to be better - one got the same walleye and two other got steaks and they were pleasantly surprised by them. One great thing is that there was not too much atmosphere (meaning loud music) that you couldnt carry a conversation, so thumbs up! Beer was good including a couple of local/regional ones and prices decent, so overall a good place to eat considering it's a bar. read more

Pretty good food, but horrible customer service experiences. Wings are very well sized, biggest in town. The hot wings can be a tad bit to vinegary, but overall I'd rate the food 7 out of 10. I have eaten here during my last 2 visits to Wisconsin and have never been disappointed. Ate dinner here last night. The food was excellent! Had the steak salad. All of the right ingredients. The waitress was attentive without being annoying or forgetful. Yesterday's food experience was pretty good. After a short drive from Chicago, this seems to be the "Hot" spot as recommended by other hotel patrons and the staff. We weren't seated right away, which didn't settle with me well at first, because I observed quite a bit of staff milling around. Once seated our waitress was extremely nice. I had a strip steak and potato it was delicious. My husband decided to get a double cheeseburger. He enjoyed it the only downside is it was HUGE, and he couldn't finish it. I ordered a raspberry Martini, it was a bit syrup heavy, but I'm thinking it was her first time cause she asked for a review, we told her she was receptive. My roommate took me here as a first time guest, and I have heard great things. Our waitress was extremely rude, gave us the wrong drinks, and ignored us the entire time. Our waitress was nice. Our alcoholic drinks were way too strong. Tasted like straight alcohol. The food was good. But an hour and half after my husband and I got back from eating there we threw up and had diarrhea nonstop for over 12 hours because we received food poisoning. I've never felt that horrible in my life. My husband called them to complain and they said they only change their oil once a week and cook everything in the same oil. read more

Not perfect, but very close. Got the filet mignon, which was delicious. They have a beer that is only available in Wisconsin. I am from Ohio so I had to try it. The IPA, Moon Man, was solid. We stopped in Beloit WI en route to Milwaukee. Jersey's was recommended, so we gave it a try. Best idea of the day. The place is huge, but homey, the staff is terrific and friendly, and the food is wonderful. They feature a variety of beers, too. Jersey's is privately owned, and it shows. Forget the chain restaurant "companies" when you're on the road. If you want a great dining experience in Beloit, this one is five stars. read more

My parents and I have been going to Jerseys for years. The steaks were very good as was the service. Unfortunately, that has changed since they remodeled. The quality of the steaks has greatly diminished as has the service. We have given it several tries in the hope it would improve but if anything, it has gotten worse. Last night was the last straw. We got our drinks right away and placed our orders. That was really it for the rest of our stay. Our very inattentive waitress finally came back to the table after 35 min. to tell us that the Chef couldn't figure out how to make a blooming onion. Seriously? 35 min. and that is what she comes back with? We tell her to skip it and just to bring the entrees. She takes off without an apology or even an offer to refill our drinks. Another 25 min goes by. Nothing from the waitresses who did serve a couple who arrived 20 min after we were seated but not any update, apology, or drink refill from our alleged server. Finally, after investing over an hour waiting for our food and the complete lack of service we tossed a $10 on the table for an iced tea and a beer and left. We actually walked past our alleged server who did what she done the whole night and ignored us. Most likely she pocketed the $10 and told her manager that we left without paying. She really needs to find a new job because she is an awful server. If it's a kitchen issue, it's her job to keep the guests informed. We are patient people but totally ignoring guests is just wrong. I really hope that Jerseys can someday get back to the quality and reputation that they once had. They will need to do some housecleaning and get in a competent staff. This place has the location to be great but slow inattentive waitresses are killing its chances. The wife and I came here a few times over the last week due to us staying at the hotel Next door. The first time we both went for the steak dinners. They were cooked well but our waitress never came back and got refills or even checked on our meal. Our second time here was the worst. We went in and sat at a table for at least 5 minutes and no one came to help us. The bartender seen us and brought us menus and said the server would be right over, she was not.... we could see 3 waitresses standing by the kitchen but it still took another 10 minuets for one to come wait on us. My wife had the salmon and it was cold and dry but my meal was good. Our drinks sat empty again and by the time she got back to ask if we wanted another one, we were ready to just go. We figured we would try one last time before we left, because it is convenient being right next door to our hotel. This time we sat at the bar and had salads and appetizers. Our nachos were awesome and our drinks never sat empty. The bartender was very friendly and welcoming. She provided the best service we received during our entire trip (wish we had got her name) and I suggest to anyone that if they visit this facility to skip the restaurant and go straight to the bar if you really want good service. I wish we would have went to the bar the first time, if so this place would have gotten a five star from us. read more

Not worth the walk from the Hampton Inn. The bar is loud, sterile and the tables and chairs are falling apart. Service was rude and slow. They took my credit card twice to run a tab then kept it. Ok food. If you get the wings trust me and get the naked over breaded. The low prices got us in the door but would have no problem paying more for better quality and especially the service. We constantly had to waive down bartender for another drink and even a menu so we could get food. All the staff was too busy stuffing themselves with food and talking. We've been here a number of times and always have a good experience. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. Person in my party ordered the roast beef sandwich and said it was piping hot. Hardly put a dent in it and said was full. Another ordered ribeye and loved it. Quesadillas and cheese curds were good.
