Could be a great little neighborhood bar it has pretty good food, the fish fry, steaks and prime rib are top notch. The patio is great and lots of events and a nice pit stop if you ride. The biggest negative about this place is the Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde scenario with the waitstaff. Sometimes it is great, friendly and want to tip for such great service but others it is snotty, rude almost to the point that you're coming there is a burden leading yourself to ask "Why am I spending my money here" but that mood seems to revolve around if one specific waitress is working and changes the whole atmosphere. read more

We stopped in to see the evening's entertainment and to try their food. Wow, It was great. The fish fry will now be a part of our Friday Fish Fry rotation. The half pound burger tasted like an actually grilled hamburger with all the extras. The side chosen was waffle fries. We had a half order of nachos and it was huge. Enough for two or three people. The Jambalaya soup was sooo unique, it had a zip to it, but not spicy. Good quality ingredients made it a tasty soup and we will be there when ever it is on the menu. First time here and came because of the reviews. The seating inside wasn't comfortable - only bar top tables, small inside too. We both ordered a bacon cheeseburger. It did have lots of bacon on it but it lacked any seasoning or flavor. Waffle fries weren't salted or seasoned either. Price is reasonable for what we received but I was hoping for more flavor with all the five star reviews. read more

If you are in a hurry this is not the place to go. Service is a little slower but I believe that is because they are so busy. The food is good I enjoyed the burgers and fries. My kids were not fans of the chicken strips but my husband really liked his wrap. It was very loud in there when we went but it was trivia night. Would be fun for a group of friends. read more

Came here for lunch and had the Frisco burger special which was delicious. Plenty of tater tots completed my lunch. Great price and a nice atmosphere. This was a Thursday at 1pm. Would definitely come back and try some of the other amazing looking items. read more

The only way this place is still in business is because of the bartenders. That's the only reason we go there. The food is so-so. Steak night is good. The owner isn't nice unless you went to high school with him. He needs to take a class in customer relations. read more

Short, sweet, and honest review of Crazy Times. I have to start with I am severely biased on this review. I love this place! This is my HQ. This is my neighborhood place. This is MY spot. That being said, biased or no, this is still honest. The food is great. Like most places, the quality can waver a bit from day to day depending on who is in the kitchen and how busy it is. The staff is awesome (especially if they get to know you). The outdoor area is comfortable and the live music in the summer is excellent. Love this pub! Service is always fast and friendly; food is great too. Their grilled chicken sandwiches (I like the buffalo sauce) are very generous and tasty. Good selection of tap beers, reasonably priced. For good food and beer Crazy Times is well worth a try. read more

I have eaten here previously and had good meals. Their steak breakfast is the best in Northern Illinois/Southern Wisconsin. Tonight was sadly one of the worst meals i have had in my 56 yrs on Earth. We walk in and sit at the bar for 10 minutes before we are waited on for our drink order. Asked the bartender is she knows how to make an Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet. She tells us we have to wait for the bartender to get done smoking out back and come back behind the bar because she is the one that "makes all the fancy drinks". That is the first and last time I think I will ever hear that a Brandy Old Fashioned is a fancy drink. The bartender comes from outside finishing her cigarette and doesn't wash her hands and goes back to making drinks. She tells us if we tell her how to make the Brandy Old Fashioned she will make them for us. When we ask if they muddle she gives me this confused look and we then decide to just stick to beer tonight. Three of us order Prime Rib medium rare. The Prime Rib came out gray as it had been dunked in hot au jus for some reason. Our Prime Rib was from the chuck steak end. It didn't resemble, look like, taste, feel or anything else give the impression that is was Prime Rib. It was horrible. We asked where the carrots were because if you are serving me chuck steak it must be pot roast and there is always carrots with pot roast. Worst meat I have ever ate. A proprietor who is involved with his business would not let this meat leave his kitchen. Not only was the meat unfit to eat, the garlic mashed potatoes were from a box. Not fresh home made. The au jus tasted like used laundry water. Colorful but no taste to it. We each received a reheated frozen bread stick with out salad. Sadly the salad was the best part of the meal. Bill came to $135.00. Much better ways I could have spend that money. read more

wow we went there and man the people there was very friendly and the food was very good we sure will go back there again the place was very clean and the restroom was also clean if you all go here trust me you will not be disappointed . they have a place where you can park your motorcycles right out in front also so you can keep a eye on your baby get it, well gotta fly see ya there. read more

Its a bar. That serves food, good food. On Thursday, they serve a steak menu and its very good. I suggest the Crazy Grill, a 10oz strip cooked to your preference and then cut in strips. Served over grilled mushrooms, peppers and onion. It comes with terriyaki sauce (which I never get) choice of potato, salad and Texas toast for under $20.! Weekends they serve an enormous breakfast including steak. not a wimpy breakfast steak, a REAL steak! Great people on staff. read more
