They sell subs, salads, wings, wraps, kabobs, hummus and more. My favorite days to go are Mondays and Tuesdays when they do their $8.99 special which is a sub or wrap with fries. I always get the philli cheese and it is awesome, but today my friend and I wanted to try the chicken shawarma and gyro wrap. Both were delicious, but I did ask for some tzatziki sauce to dip the chicken shawarma wrap. I ended this visit with some baklava and I loved it. The staff is friendly and nice and it's a nifty little place to enjoy a good lunch or dinner. I am definitely going to continue coming here. read more

For not having a ton of Arabic options in Richmond, this place was alright. I got my zatar and tamarind paste from the grocery then bought dinner and dessert. Knefe (the sweet cheese dessert) was too saturated in syrup for me, not like what I ate in Israel or in Detroit, but the cheese itself was delicious. Meats were roasted and seasoned well, pickled veg were okay, rice was cooked well, the garlic sauce was awesome, and the babaganoush was fair but would get that again. They have tons of spices sold by the pound, tons of varieties of dates in packages of all sizes, and they are always willing to break things down and sell them in smaller quantities. They also have lots of different Middle Eastern cheeses, and yogurts. They also had a number of Balkan options as well. Anything that you could possibly need for Middle Eastern cooking, including pomegranate molasses, halva, date paste, etc, you can find it here, and for a reasonable price. They even had my absolute favorite, Ulker Golden, which is like Nutella but with a way better texture and flavor. The staff was very helpful, the store was well-organized, and you can truly find any and everything you need here. Trust me! This place is far larger than it looks! I just found my new favorite place. This is a true Halal market, so no pork in this place. The owner was so friendly and genuine. The gyro was huge, it came in two pieces. The fresh lamb was wrapped in homemade pita, no thick, processed fake bread here. It was delicious. It was served with hot fries and a pop. I got all this goodness for less than $10. You know you can't beat that with a stick! A family was eating a steak and cheese which was also quite big and looked yummy. I will definitely try that next time.
