So happy to see Great Harvest Bread Cafe' has reopened! It is also a part of Europa Bread Co as well! Employees are friendly and coffee is great!

First of all, we used to visit the Great Harvest location in Annapolis, MD on a weekly basis. We loved that place. Today, cruising around Richmond, we were really excited to see that there was a Great Harvest Bread company CAFE! We learned from the very knowledgeable fellow who took our order that this is the first corporate-owned store! The rest are all franchised. While we waited for our ordered, we perused the fresh breads available for purchase. I pointed out one that sounded fantastic, but they were out. A young lady overheard me, poked her head around a rack and said conspiratorially, "They JUST came out and need to cool before we slice them, but if you want one unsliced, I can make that happen for you!" They were unfortunately out of bacon when we showed up for a late breakfast, so we had to pivot a bit. I ordered a Classic Ham: ham, egg, and cheddar on whole wheat bread... it was AMAZING! Seriously, probably the best sandwich of its kind that I've ever had. My wife ordered a roast beef sandwich, which she said was a bit fatty, but it had great flavor. As we were leaving with our order, the lady who made it asked if my daughter could have a treat, which I appreciated. She gave her a cookie as big as my head! My daughter's eyes lit up. Despite being out of one of our favorite things, we had an absolutely perfect experience today. The level of customer service that we experienced today is almost nonexistent in today's world, and it's much appreciated. We will ABSOLUTELY be back!

While you drop off your kids for school come in and see Susan and Karen. They are cranking out an amazing hand made breakfast feast for your tastebuds! Pastries? They got em! Fresh bread loaves or sliced? They got it all! Fresh made breakfast sandwiches? They have those too! Get your day started right at the best kept secret in Midlothian.

    Best Ever BLT Sandwich

Best Ever BLT Sandwich is a misnomer. It's a $9.00 sandwich with a thin sliver of tomato, 1 piece of lettuce, two slices of thin bacon and the thinnest possible slice of wheat bread. This is not a 9.00 sandwich. Will not be returning.

This is a very calm and cute cafe. They have freshly baked bread and other bakery treats like scones and muffins. They also server espresso drinks and coffee. I got the kickstart breakfast sandwich a blue berry scone, and an americano. The portions are very good for the price, I had left overs and was happy to enjoy them later. The flavor and quality of the food was also very good. The service was amazing as well. the people working were very nice and quick with their service. Thank you :)

Giant sandwiches on fresh bread in a chill, friendly atmosphere... it was always a treat. So I was excited to try this location, but man, this is NOT the Capriotti's I remember.I waited 50 minutes for four sandwiches. While standing there, I watched the couple ahead of us wait a full hour for their order. When they finally asked about it, the staff realized they forgot the fries and just quickly grabbed some for them. I also stood there and watched three cups of fries sit under the heat lamp for at least 40 minutes. They looked sad and greasy by the time they went out. Gross. The sandwiches were hit-or-miss at best. One turkey was decent, but the second one was straight-up leftover stringy slop swimming in a bucket of mayo. It had the ghost of Capriotti's flavor, but none of the quality or pride that made the place famous -- especially the Bobbie. It honestly feels like the original story that started in Delaware has been completely wiped out by corporate laziness. Really disappointing. I wanted to love it, but this location is phoning it in. I may give it a try in a year to see if they got it together. Fingers crossed but not hopeful.

The bun was warm, soft and buttery, there was a good amount of lobster to bread ratio, which made me happy! Now I will say the lobster roll is smaller than I thought it would be but the flavor and the roll itself is worth the 20 bucks. Will I go here often? No, just because it is pricey for the size but will I come back again? Absolutely! Also please try their specialty drinks the flavored lemonades are delicious!

The pork was tender and juicy but I wish the smokey bbq flavors were more prominent? Their mac and cheese was also very cheesey, but the mac pasta was a little too mushy for my liking. Definitely complemented the meat!  With the burrito, it comes with a side and you can choose to put it inside your burrito or separate. Addition of jalapeños and/or nacho cheese also optional.
