Delicious Mediterranean style food! The pita chips were well seasoned and the meat was tender. I wish there was a sauce that came with the meat but overall a pretty good dish. Not pictured but also ordered was the spinach pie which was good. The service was quick and there's not too much seating but luckily we did not have a hard time finding a spot. Great market and deli! I had the "spicy Armenian " wrap -- if you like basturma, don't miss it!! What a delicious surprise!! The turkey wrap was more typical, but both came in nice lavash bread, with pickle and olive. And an interesting selection of craft sodas. The people are great, too. Be aware that this smaller location on High Point Rd doesn't have seating except for one small table outside the front door. I look forward to checking out the elm st location! read more

Jerusalem market has some of the best falafel I've had, their pita bread was very thin and light which made it very delicious, and all around it was a very savory dish! I also had their hummus and pita chips. They're a family owned business, and very helpful! The shop also had some candy's and dehydrated fruits displayed in glass jars! We went with a super large group for an after party when my daughter held a book signing next door. They couldn't have been more welcoming. I'm not sure how I've overlooked this place for so long. I've eaten at several different restaurants with similar cuisine, but this is by far the best I've had in the area. First impressions was that it is super quaint and charming when walking in and I was greeted promptly with a smile and genuine hospitality. I didn't take a look at the menu very long and decided to go for the falafel wrap. My oh my! This is the absolute best falafel I've had in the Greensboro area. It's not dry like some places, and the hot sauce adds the perfect kick to balance with the other ingredients. I stumbled on this place by accident, but I will be a returning customer for sure. Georgie was super friendly and helpful. I got the basterma in bulk and he's super happy because this is the only place on this coast that has ohanyan brand. We got about 2 pounds uncut and found out they sell the bulk meats cheaper when it's not cut. Score! The store is small but organized and carries the essentials. They have a large selection of dried fruits and that's always a nice sight because most places carry only the candied kind. These are fresh and naturally sweet. They have groceries from all over the Middle East and some from the caucus area. Super friendly service and ample parking. read more

Long time, delicious staple in Greensboro! Jerusalem Market is truly one of a kind. The owners are the kindest human beings and their food is fresh, authentic, and delicious. It's a great spot to stop by and grab a quick lunch or take food to go (it's just as good to go as it is there). After deciding to try something new for lunch, I came across this location. Upon arrival, I took note of dried fruit, variety of teas, candies, and more! Upon scanning the store, I arrived at the counter in the back & was greeted & asked what my order would be. Although I'd briefly viewed an online menu, I wanted to double check before ordering. I finally decided on the Turkey wrap & ordered the Turk Sandwich for the wife. Both orders were fresh and light. I had a bit of fear with adding the spicy to my wrap but thankfully it wasn't extremely spicy since I decided to only add a small amount. My wife enjoyed the Turk sandwich so much that I barely saw her come up for air but can confirm due to the half-mumbles and nods of appreciation in between bites. As our order was being prepared, we decided to continue exploring the space. We finally decided to try one of the Fanta beverages. I did see the GUS drinks and will definitely pick up a few on my next trip! read more

4 1/2!!! This is more of a tip than a full blown review. It's a market that sells Middle Eastern dry goods and meats. They have a deli counter in the back and they have a nice selection of salads and wraps. I went with the #8 which is the Turk. It had a dry sausage, provolone, lettuce, tomato, yogurt and some sort of hot sauce in a wrap. It was good and not heavy. It's a nice place to grab a quick lunch to go and pick up some ingredients you won't find in your typical big box supermarket. read more

We went to the wrong Jerusalem Market location. We have had many people recommend the take out options offered by the Jerusalem Market. Unfortunately, I had no idea there were multiple locations each of which offers a different range of food. We ended up at the "market" rather than the restaurant. I typically always order meat on a sandwich but went out of my comfort zone on the falafel wrap, and honestly it was my favorite of the two! Wow!! What a find! Driving back to VA from NC, craving Armenian food and found this amazing place! Not only is it a delicious deli, it's also an amazing Mediterranean store. Super cute inside, reminded me of the Armenian markets back in California. Tons of sweets, snacks, cool drinks from Bosnia, herbs, teas, I wish I could have brought it all. This market is great! I don't think the family that owns it could be any nicer or more caring that you enjoy your experience there. My bf's dad loves Turkish Delights and you cannot find those treats a lot of places. Luckily this market stocks up on them and had options to chose from. They also have Milka chocolate bars which I am a huge fan of. I picked up a few new treats to try out as well. The hummus was delicious and I love that they top it with good quality olive oil. The falafel was good but for me the hummus stole the show. I'm going to head back for sure to try out some of their other lunch options. read more

Everything is nice, with fresh, clean tastes. Good service, but things can slow down when they're busy, this is a small, family run place. No inside seating, not much outside. Prices are reasonable, though the sandwiches run $6 - $8; pies are about $3; hummus, falafel, etc are about $9 per pound, with the dolmathes at $12. read more

I only have it when I go to New York, mainly because I haven't seen/looked for local places that offer it.This one was the best so far. Light, yet filling! Fresh, warm, crunchy, all rolled into one. Accompanied by a small olive and pickle on the side. The place is on the smaller end, so I recommend ordering your food first! (go straight to the back) then walk around and explore the little market which is jam packed with goodies. I love these unique, cultural places- you can shop around AND get a great lunch! I have been eating here for years. The ingredients are always fresh and everything is made to order. Absolutely the best falafel I've ever had! I always order a falafel wrap and ask for onion and feta. Feta is an extra charge, a dollar or so. I caved once and tried the spice they offer on the sandwich. Let's just say I got to experience the heat twice, lol! Wraps always come with a couple of kalamata olives (with pits) and half a Lebanese pickle or a whole cornishon pickle. The platter is very good as well. It's hard to leave without a dessert. Namoura is my favorite. This is a to-go style deli/grocer. Lots of European and Middle Eastern spices and groceries that you can't find elsewhere. They have a couple small tables outside for seating and that is it. They have a restaurant in downtown Greensboro, Jerusalem Market on Elm, with plenty of seating if you'd prefer to dine in. read more

Ever since I traveled to Jerusalem as a teenager I have loved middle eastern food! Whenever I have a chance to try some in a new town I take the chance. Jerusalem Market did not disappoint. My mom and I split two wraps- the falafel wrap and the hummus and tabouli wrap. Both were amazing. Although the store is set up more like a grocery it has a great deli counter and two small tables.
